Same here Ed, it really can't come quick enough now mate, I just know we've got success coming with this squad, we have a hell of a lot to look forward to now, we're laughing mate!

If somebody had of told me we'd have a squad like this a month or two ago I'd of probably laughed at them, now we get to see the likes of Alisson, Keita and co in the Liverpool shirt, it doesn't get much better than that!

i really can't wait for the season to start too ed001, the only game i watched was the final of the wc. really wasnt that interested.

there will be pressure on klopp now though surely, at least a trophy is expected with a team like this. excited as hell.

if klopp has his squad already i hope we don't price out the players that won't be playing though, i get that we need to get as much as we can, but them being here without any chance of playing is not good for both the club and the player.

4000 a week seems crazy for a 5th division player, but can anyone actually tell me of a team, in recent years, that haven't significantly invested to gain Football League status and stay there?

Football is all about the haves and have nots these days. It's easy to be jealous, and everyone wants to reach higher, but if you can't, be happy with your lot. If Ed002's predictions are correct, in the end, then staying as a sustainable non league (or non professional) team now will be far better than trying to spend big to keep up with the money when the rapture begins.
