As always, thanks for that ed, always interesting. Really feeling for Rafa at Newcastle at the moment, and the players obviously, I just can't see any improvement of their situation whilst that runt Ashley is still holding the reigns. It's sad because they have excellent supporters, brilliant manager, all the right ingredients if it wasn't for Ashley. Just goes to show you how lucky we are with our current set up. Have a good day anyway Tris.

{Ed001's Note - you seem to have made a small typo there with an r instead of a c. Cheers Welsh you too mate.}

'Boiler Man' can handle the pressure.
Kept his cool and refused to let off steam in the face of the insults from a couple of thousand of Bolton fans.
Working Class Hero.

I absolutely love Rafa and it’s definitely Mike Ashley’s fault for not backing him, but, given what he has had to spend, do you think they are better off with Muto and Rondon than Gayle and Mitrovic Ed?

Ed, What has mike Ashley done that’s got to this situation?
I know he doesn’t invest much in the club and has questionable to say the least morals - but what makes him such a runt with a c?

{Ed001's Note - you mean other than treating people like slaves and being a complete piece of **** of a person generally? They are not getting agreed bonuses, hence the refusal to take part in pictures etc.}

Thanks ed. Think you’ll be busy over the coming days. Have a good one.

{Ed001's Note - certainly looks that way RR!}

{Ed001's Note - yes, Gayle and Mitrovic were not listening to Rafa so he had to change them.}

Hi ed, just wanted to ask why are they still undisclosed fees when the figure is there?

{Ed001's Note - because the clubs did not disclose them, the fees come from the figures submitted to FIFA's TMS (transfer matching system). They have to disclose the amounts to them. It really is pointless this hiding numbers, it just leads to dishonesty.}

Aren't West Brom now sponsored by Ideal boilers? I think it's brilliant. Sponsor a team and insist they have a boiler as a mascot then when people start going WTF, the brand name on the shirt becomes more relevant. The two are likely to become more synonymous, rather than just being a long that no one knows anything about. I love a weird mascot myself. Take David Shrigley's design for Patrick Thistle's mascot, it certainly raised the profile of the club for a while.

Be careful what you wish for. Although I hate Mike Ashley, Newcastle are the type of club who could be the next city or Chelsea. Big stadium, tonnes of fans, historic team.

Can't help like the geordies though, it could definitely happen (and has happened) to a worse team. It's sad, they love their footy as much as us and have been ripped off by their owner. He doesn't care, he thinks rafa can work miracles so doesn't bother signing top players. He should realise they have some genuine class in the driving seat and now is the time to invest. Rafa would have em in Europe next year with 70mil to spend.

Personally not a fan of the Geordies. They think that because they get 50 thousand, for a one team city, I might add, they deserve to be better off. No one deserves anything in sport, at least from a fan perspective. St James Park seems to me like a very hostile place for home players and managers unless the team is exceeding expectations, not just merely meeting them. You rarely hear more boos anywhere else, West Ham maybe aside, or Old Trafford these days.
