Other than Liverpool, I have to say Fulham, Everton and West Ham have conducted some absolutely brilliant transfers this window.

Everton suprised me not going to lie. Good business these last couples of days.

Everton? Bernard and Richarlison are no better than Walcott or Bolasie. Lot's of pace and no end product. More potential in Richarlison's case.

Mina and Digne got fobbed off by Barcelona because they couldn't defend in a top heavy league playing for the strongest team, and offered little on the ball either in a side which usually has 80% of the ball.

Have I missed anything else? Average business at best in my opinion. They'll finish anywhere in the 9th-14th mid table range.

Fulham and West Ham I agree with. Though I think both teams might have made too many changes in key areas. They'll take time to gel.

{Ed025's Note - and you call us bitter..

I get that evertons signings aren't exactly a 70 mill transfer but some decent business especially the loan deals. If they get gomes and zuma too its a significant upgrade on last season. BTW im a liverpool fan but think the blues did good.

Personally I aren't convinced by the WH signings, it's all good and well signing all of them players but will it strengthen them? I don't think it will, not much anyway. They finished 13th (I think? ) last season and have signed these players to move up that table of course but I don't see them getting anywhere above 10th. I mean Anderson we'll see how he gets on, he's the big signing for them but then your talking the likes of Wilshere lol that's not a good signing, don't worry Walter I know you disagree mate ;) . Who knows, they may shock me and do really well but I have my doubts personally.

Everton have gone for it, good luck to them I think the incoming players will help them in the longrun but in my opinion the fans really need to be patient with Silva, he needs a couple of seasons to make the team his. Should they stick by Silva I see them doing pretty well tbh.

Wolves and Fulham, well put it this way if either of them go back down I'll be very surprised, I'm impressed with how they've conducted business and I think both will stay up. Wolves for me though I think they'll really have an impressive season.

Liverpool have had the best window this time around, we've signed the players we needed and strengthened the positions needing to be strengthened. I know many people wanted a CB to come in, many of us wanted Fekir but it just wasn't meant to be. I feel if we brought in another CB it'd be basically saying to Gomez that he's done and I didn't want that, I really think the lad deserves his shot because I think there's more to him.

Overall I'm very impressed with Liverpool, the way we conducted business this time around was utterly fantastic, we got deals done early with no messing about.

I'm thankful it's all over now though and grateful the season is about to start, because I feel we're going to have a great season.

Massive shoutout to the Eds, especially Ed1, Ed2, Ed25, Ed333 and of course all of the other Eds. You fellas are the heart and soul of this website, I can't thank you all enough for providing such a great website.

Have a great evening to all!

Everton seriously lacked pace last year with Rooney sigurdson tosic etc - Richarlison and Bernard help that and I actually think Richarlison will get better. You can argue Mina might be bad, but they’re back four were either kids or OAPs, its probably an improvement.
I don’t think you should judge until they play, we are saying Keita will one of the best in the league, but maybe he won’t adapt, and Bernard will. people said Salah wouldn’t cut it as Italy is slow. Personally think Everton have improved their squad.

I said the same last season MK. They seem to be replacing players with players that are no better or in some cases even worse.
If they get the Silva of the start of last season though he might be able to get them playing. If they get the guy from the second part of the season they could be in the championship next year.
Big gambles taken from Everton this window it will be fun to see what happens.

MK your post is laughable buddy, Everton have conducted some great transfer activity and have drastically improved their team/ squad and for anyone to say otherwise is just crazy, credit to them for spending as it shows clear ambition unlike Newcastle who imo will be bottom 5 majority of the season.

Relax MK in think it was good business by them to be fair

Mina looks a good player perfect for the league I think they and west ham will battle it out for 7th this season still good but of the top 6 of course.

I'm surprised to read that from you MK. Really. You're usually quite balanced in your views. Not to discuss finances, but you know well as much as anybody else that purchases are a function of financial ability and the situation the club is in. You've forgotten that only 3 seasons ago the best we could hope for was Clint Dempsey for an entire summer transfer window. Some can spend little and some can spend a lot. And some are more attractive to all players and some teams are not so attractive to join.

We're clearly on an upward slope. And I think much of it is due to Mr. Klopp. But I don't think it's so classy or elegant to be trampling on other teams on our way up there.

To be fair ed25 if they’d signed for Liverpool they’d be world class. Great window for yourselves can’t wait to beat you!

{Ed025's Note - the club are trying pegleg and as supporters thats all we can ask for mate..

Mate there talking good for them.

Obviously there not signing the calibre of player that could play in the top 6. The op is talking about good for them.

There shopping abit higher than aldi now, and good on them. Bout time we started showing some support to the less fortunate of this league, is it there fault there a disgrace to the footballing world. No. But they are there week in week out, and now they getting given something ok to actually watch. Bout time I say!

Ynwa blue men. Your always in our hearts!

Hahaha that absolutely tickled me, I just kept going.

{Ed025's Note - your smugness is very endearing KB, i think you have a very good side but the fact is you have won nothing yet mate, when you have you have license to trash talk...until then...

Very bitter Liverpool fans, we don't need to be we had a great window so let the blues have their time to shine not that they will finish above us lol no offense ed025.

{Ed025's Note - i dont expect us to JF, if we do we will be winning the league mate..

BigD, laughable? That's a bit strong. It was my honest opinion. Think about it player by player. Is Richarlison and upgrade on Walcott? Not in the short term. Is Bernard an upgrade on Mirallas or Bolasie? Not even close. Is Gomes and upgrade on Klassen, McCarthy or Davies? Not even close. Is Digne an upgrade on Baines? Not even close. Is Mina an upgrade on Jagielka? Not even in the same league. Is Zouma an upgrade on Holgate? No chance.

Spending money counts for nothing if you spend it an a load of run of the mill players. I didn't mean to sound bitter by the way, Ed025. To coin one of your own phrases, I say it as I see it. Silva will not last the season in my opinion but I'll gladly be proven wrong.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think you know much about the everton team MK, your comparisons on players is way off the mark mate, to be honest i thought you knew more about football my friend..

Mk, I don’t think baines is being replaced by Digne, but how much has he played over the last two years? He’s better than their sub left back.
Walcott is dreadful, Richarlison was a danger most of the season, just couldn’t finish his dinner - if he improves that, he will score goals.
Bernard has Brazil caps and gomes Portugal ones - maybe Mina and Gomes weren’t good enough for Barca, but that’s not always a shame.
I think we look at the likes of Gomez and think they can be class, yet Mina is still young, played in a World Cup and has plenty of time to learn too.

Jokes aside ed. You have just below a top 6 side.

Still a few holes as your honest enough to agree and the players although good, don't have much prem experience, nor a pre season with you guys.

Bernard is fantastic and it is only his height that's put people off, at the same time kante is single handily winning world cups 🤣

If we had signed him everyone would be wetting themselves right about now.
Richy just needs to learn to finish and he could be very good indeed, problem he has now is even 10 and 10, he's a 50 million pound winger, so his stats might go great but his price tag will. always leave a few question marks. Unless he pulls a Salah and just goes off the friggin chain. No coincidence though his form dropped when Marco left.

Mina, I love him. Forget what he hasn't got and love what he has got.
Big fridgelike unit, immense heart, aerial domination, strong as a moths sucka. I really must remember the Colombia game badly, I was slightly drunk but I thought he was brilliant, aside from the goals. not only did he pocket king Kane, but when fresh legs vrady came on, he didn't give him a sniff even with a hamstring issue, in extra time aswel.

Gomes, was good enough for Valencia and Barcelona, nothing to be sniffed at.

Digne outted by alba so can't be great 😂 defensively superb just needs to offer more in the attacking game.

Use have done really well. Pickford, Coleman, Keane, mina and digne won't give up much. Tosun, richy, Walcott and Bernard could cause all kinds of problems and Gueye who made more tackles than kante last year a long with sig or Gomez. Tasty stuff.

Good luck for the year my friend.

I tell you what though, Silva and klopps styles could make the derby very very exciting.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think your a mile off with that assessment KB, too early to tell yet how things will pan out but the club are putting their money where there mouth,s are and trying to take the club forward, we are all happy with the outcome of this window and the nay-sayers who are comparing it to last season obviously dont know much about marcel brands mate...but we will see i suppose..
