They managed to address the African cup of nations dilemma, probably for the same reasons of disrupting the season.

The club's don't allow the world cup but they have to accommodate a lot of players who play in it with extended holidays, something which can be damaging to the club's preseason. Yet there doesn't seem to be a y give back in then disrupting the season.

I already have a sneaky feeling we will take a little time to get back up to speed these next few games. That should never be the case in a competitive league or any league.

We could be in a worse position now say 9 points with city on 12, lose 2 games in a row and find ourselves 9 points behind due to no real fault of ourselves. Luckily we have out ourselves in a good position if we were to lose but still fifa didn't know that.

I wouldn't know what's best but there's another 1 in October and then another in Jan if I'm not mistaken. Just stupid.

If Liverpool don't perform well after this break it is not down to the break. All the other teams we will play have equal or more players who were on international duty. There can be no excuses re the team. I would say for fans it would be better to take a designated time, probably the summers and play all qualifiers then and do away with friendlies all together. Personally I think this would also boost the interest in international football.

Of course it's a reason 🤣

Seriously?

I didn't say we were the only ones who would suffer?

Or didn't mean that.

My point is Tottenham have a much better shot at taking a point or winning this week than they would of last weekend of there wasn't an international break.

So what gave them that better chance, he international break, so who's at fault? Fifa. the international break 🤣.

kloppsboss. you are seriously confused or have too much time on you hands. or both. How does an international break give either team ( of equal international players) an advantage in their next league game?
