Ed. Can you gice some insight into the fabinho saga. Is he not good enough or what. There was a blatant opportunity to play him against a poor southampton side yet he never got a minute. what's the issue. £40m for a squad player surely he was bought to replace hendo.

{Ed002's Note - I explained the situation that he was struggling to settle. I guess it is taking longer than planned but to be fair the team is winning so there is a thought to leave well alone. And don't forget, it means a change of style or him tp change to a new position to use him unless he goes to RB.}

Ed is right mate the team is winning so as the saying goes"if it's not broke don't fix it"Plus it gives the lad more time to settle in. He has year's to make Anfield his home.

Also don’t forget it took Robertson I good while to adjust and settle into the new system. All I will say is look at him now.

Yeah i don't understand this assumption that something must be wrong in the fact he hasn't really played.

Everything is currently going well and people should enjoy it!

I think you are all correct in saying things are going well, don’t change a winning team etc but I think the original posters question (if you strip out the sense of panic that it sounds he has) is that at 3-0 up would a 10 min run out have been such a bad thing. I know we used 2 subs early on and perhaps Klopp was still preferring to blood Keita as he hasn’t fully adapted yet, but if Fabinho is on the bench, surely a controlled introduction at 3-0 rather than him having to come in what would presumably have to be a major injury crisis during a game would be the best way for him to get his feet wet in the PL?

There is no Fabinho saga.

I'm with LFC hopeful on this. I think the Southampton game was the perfect opportunity to give him a start (and letting Shaqiri start still, as well) . At some point you have to see first hand what a player has got, and the best way is in actual real games. Do you buy a player and play him only after you have completely molded or remolded him, or do you buy him because of attributes he already has that will suit your team's tactics, football philosophy and strategy? But I don't want to overdo it or anything. I have complete faith and trust in Klopp and always assume he knows best and what he is doing. He'll start Fabinho at the opportune time. I'm sure Milner's superlative form and Wijnaldum's unexpected displays have also made the decision very difficult.

Agreed kraemer. There is no saga. He is good enough, not a hendo replacement but a Can replacement.

The ox and robbo had to wait for their chance.

All non Liverpool fans are making out that we bought a lemon, wishful thinking, it'll come good.

Maybe it is a personality thing. I'm just guessing but maybe sometimes klopp buys a player, a big personality as central midfielders usually are, and they are overly boisterous, maybe not giving the manager the respect he expects and klopp let's em know who is boss. Maybe the previous manager was more easy going or let them get away with playing his own way.

I noticed something at the psg game, probably nothing but. When sturridge scored fab was sat next to Bobby and the camera looked to the bench fab leaned right over, in front of Bobby. It looked weird, like fab invaded his personal space, I read it as fab saying "anyone can be dropped" Bobby just smiled.

Probably nothing, me reading into things. But I do think it's klopp way of "breaking" a player.

People just need to relax about this a little. As Ed002 has said, the team is winning so why rock the boat?

Remember lots of people were asking what was going on with Robertson until November/ December last year, and now he's one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Just relax and enjoy the good run we're on.

I feel a debut start in the league cup is coming for Fab. Also suspect a much changed back 4 with Moreno, Clyne and now Lovren hoping to get a game. Would like to see Sturridge and Shaqiri start, Solanke on the bench. Henderson (maybe Milner is more fresh? ) alongside Fab and Keita. The usual front three need to be rested IMO; too much of a risk to not have them fit for the weekend. I feel we can get a result at home even with the "second string"

To be fair I'd rather he warmed the bench till he is ready than throw him in to soon and have the "fans" rip him apart on social media just have faith he will be introduced (properly not in the last 30 seconds to kill time) when he can make a difference and not for the sake of it.

Lol we have people interpreting the situation based on 1 second of dialogue after a goal which undoubtedly would have been spoken in Portuguese!

Mane Man, you are joking, right? You are talking about Klopp “breaking” a £42 million player like he was a horse. Jeezus.

Where is Ed025 when you need him? Please help me tell Mane Man to stay away from drugs!

{Ed025's Note - i think mane man has a point noski he could well be breaking him in like you would a horse...then again he could just be a donkey mate.. :)
