Think yesterday shows how far Klopp has brought this squad forward. I can’t remember a time when we as fans have been able to be disappointed with a point to a top 6 club, even in the years we have come second.
Klopp has built a team that has the ability to win every game and that should be applauded.
We have had a storming start to the league it’s just two other teams have had similar. As it stands we are in the title race, when only a few years ago by November we would be in a top four battle.
Let’s enjoy the team we have and we move on to red star in the week.

Agree
We’ve played City (H) Chelsea (A) Arsenal (A) and Spurs (A) and got 6/ 12 points
Last season those fixtures we got 4.

Recent years we were thinking of top 4 by this stage already

Now we have people throwing toys out of Pram because we haven’t spanked all the teams listed above and sitting at the top of the League.

I’ve not seen anyone throw their toys out of the pram. I’ve just seen people disappointed with the performance. The result for me was a good one but I’m sure Klopp as well will not be happy with the performance and not for the first time this season.

JK123 - you don’t look at the live chat on match days then. 😩.

I think yesterday like has been said already showed the need for a creative midfield player
I would love someone to be brought who can score from long range and pick a pass as well
as we seem to have midfielders who can do one or the other but not both when games are really tight
Shaquiri can but he is more a winger then midfielder imo
Oh to have a player like david silva or Juan mata type.

Spot on, OP. We are STILL where we want to be 11 games into the season and if City win today, we will still be 2 points off them (instead of 13 points at this stage last season) and that is credit to Klopp, the players and the club for a job well done so far. Did I also mention that we have had the MOST difficult schedule in the PL to start the season?

JK23, The pref. may not have been the best BUT I thought we were effective in both boxes, created the better chances and had the disallowed goal been rightly awarded, we would have had a MUCH better chance of winning. Now as for "having yet seeing fans throwing their toys out of the pram", I invite you to check other fan sites/ SM and see the outright nonsense being spouted. Blooming petulant, spoiled brats these people are.

I think our last few performances have been a bit average yet we’re still picking up the points. We laboured against Huddersfield, we should have hammered a very poor Cardiff side, and i thought we didn't show what we were capable of versus Arsenal.
Milner, Wiji and Fab are a solid workhorse of a midfield but not the most creative. i've a feeling that when Naby Keita stars hitting form we might see some more dominance in a match.

You just can't drop points, City are 4-1 up at half time, and they've already beaten arsenal and Spurs away. To win the league you literally have to win every game, City just aren't going to drop points anywhere.

RedLorry "we did not hammer Cardiff". What is a 4-1 win in your estimation, exactly then? Just curious.

Brover, a 4-1 win is simply four goals scored, one against. It says nothing about the performance. Cardiff were woeful and we should have utterly dominated them. Asit was, we played just above average and scored four. Certainly not a ‘hammering’ imo.

RedLorry, 4-1 is an absolute pasting/ hammering by any metric of football. How you play or if you played well, really does not matter, IMO. I played in a game were we were not at our best YET we won 4-0 (w/ only 4 shots on target in the game) and even our opponents called it a hammering. Cheers, man.
