Just think the saying playing bad and winning is the sign of a good team only counts when it's a dip in form and you get true it by winning

We have been playing bad and winning most games this season and doesn't loo to be improving

Hoping last night was the kick up the whole the squad and manager needed to change things for the better.

The way I look at it is we lose a game, the next few games a few teams get a good hiding from us, Fulham will get absolutely destroyed by us. We're on and off like a yoyo at the moment but we're still in a great position overall, one loss in the CL doesn't change that, we have a more than capable team and they'll bounce back.

Salah, I remember you saying we would destroy Arsenal. I wish I shared your optimism. We aren't playing well and despite our position we have stuttered all season. If we do "destroy" Fulham we still need to make massive improvements if we are to get anywhere near City. And, I'm not a doom and gloom merchant, I follow us home and away and base what I'm saying on what I'm seeing and what I believe to be the case.

Instanbul, I know mate, I'm usually wrong with my game predictions, I just try and keep positive lol because I believe we have a lot to be positive about.

Thing is, we're going places and I still fully believe we'll beat City to the title and that's something I seriously don't believe I'll be wrong with. I'm not one of them to say this every year, this is the first year I've felt like this way for a very long time, but I do think it's ours this time around, things are good right now and people are failing to see it, our performances will improve and we'll smash it.

Let's play devil's advocate.

They scored from a corner, I didn't see a replay not sure who's at fault here but we have been pretty good at corners so far this season so one every now and then will happen to everybody.

The second, there were a lot of people who could have done things differently here, but bottom line 96/ 100 that ball does not end up in the back of the net.

In the same sentiment 99/ 100 studge scores that tap in as does mane. Another night salahs one that hit the post goes in.

Finally matips free header which arguably was the worst miss especially considering time as I thought that would get us back in to the game. There's probably other good chances I'm forgetting as well.

I'm not saying we played at our best but people's over reactions are really getting over the top. Also we're moving away from people actually having a point like "I think keita may have been more suited" and going back towards " x is crap, y is crap, what is klopp thinking"

Did Man city lose to shaktar in the group or is that in my head? It could be in my mind but I doubt people were questioning everything they were doing after it.

Someone will respond 3 wins in 9 or whatever it is. It's also still looking v likely to qualify from the group stages and tied second in the league.

That's the way I look at it as well mate, we all have different opinions but one thing for certain is we all want what's best for Liverpool which is why I love this site, if we all had the same opinions it'd be a boring website mate :) stay safe instanbul.

We had a bad start to the season last year but didn't have the points on the board the after Christmas bang we were flying keep the faith dez.

Great post, Shanek. That is how footie works at times. We are not in a good way BUT if you are missing open chances and tap-ins then you are not helping yourself. That means you confidence is really being affected cos you are not playing based on instincts cos you are over-thinking things too much.

Football is an instinctive game and the more confident you are, the better your instincts become. We are short of confidence and due to our recent poor play overall and that is starting to affect our ability to take chances the do come our way in a poor game.

As for what lies ahead for the season, I propose we all just take it one game at a time and see what happens.
