I honestly thought that was one of our most positive performances all season. First half was not great but the front 3 showed signs of getting back to the standard we know they can play at. In previous years we would of panicked after getting no early goals and the game would finish 0-0. We may also have conceded 2 late goals after Henderson being sent off, but instead kept control of the game and scored another.

Very disappointed in Henderson but klopp should have taken him off sooner. No doubt the knee jerkers will be out in force calling for his head. If nothing else it means Fabinho can play against Everton and prove Ed025 wrong in the best way possible. About time we got to see what a midfield of Keita, Fabinho and Shaqiri can bring to the table.

Totally agree. Hendo was brilliant yesterday and it was Klopps fault he got sent off yesterday not his.

JK - the sub is part of the problem, if you like. But don't you think the skipper should take some responsibility himself? Show some leadership maybe?

I too am a big fan of Hendo but to say it was Klopp’s fault that he was sent off is stretching loyalty to the player way too far. Hendo is experienced enough to know when he has to be very careful with his tackles. I was desparate to find a reason to rant at that fat, useless, incompetent travesty of a referee for the sending off but it was Hendo’s own fault.

First booking Moss got wrong, Henderson’s shirt was being pulled first which meant the Watford player got ahead of him so Hendo grabbed him back. The Honey Monster cocks up again, at least this time it didn’t cost us and his biggest mistake in the game was failing to award Watford a penalty when Robbo rashly swung and connected with their lads shin. Similar to the Chelsea pen where another idiot was in charge, they are pre-judging challenges based on the players involved (Hazard) rather than what happens. Later in that game and because the ref failed to give the first obvious pen, Hazard then dives trying to win one (I suppose he thought “well if the ref is so bad he missed a blatant one if I dive he might give it”. We need a whole new generation coming through to replace these ageing incompetent refs, BB get your skates on buddy! )

the first yellow card was well deserved as he had to make the foul to avoid the counter-attack, but the second yellow was for a shoulder push where Watford was not even having a clear chance of a counter. Hendos reaction was surprising as he knew that he was getting his marching order and just made the way toward the tunnel even before the red came out. the second yellow could be for the combinations of fouls and I saw Hendo having an argument with the ref just before the second yellow. But I am not disappointed with Hendo even for a second. He did what he had to do. he was the midfield general and was one of the best players on the pitch for me.
I was counting how many times he stopped the attack as I wanted my son to learn that position.

I think JK gave sarcastic reply.
