Thought Alisson was fantastic today guys. ED01 was 100% right this guy revolutionised our team. Nowadays whenever I watch opposition having a chance I don't get worried at all. Our defenders will get the job done. onwards towards burnley! let's burn'em!

YNWA.

He's amazing isn't he mate, he's by far the best GK in the world this season so far. What a difference a top keeper makes, that game last season we'd of drawn or maybe even lost.

Also, have to mention Gomez, what a bloody clearance lad!

We were so so lucky. Have to agree Allison was awesome he won us that game.

What has happened to Firmino? A shadow of his former self. He doesn't deserve a start midweek.

Salah mate the way you sulked off the pitch I’ll really miss your banter when you head for Madrid in January 🤔🤔🤔.

Allison is amazing he didn't half get us out of jail, still think pickford is a beast also he will get even better .

Markp08, keep the faith, Bobby will be restored to his full glory sooner rather than later. As we always say, form is temporary but class is permanent.

I am sorry people won't like this but we carrying firmino at the moment, watching arsenal today aubemeyang is amazing can't help feeling we could do with a real predator up top I love bobby as much as anyone but he is not on it .

Ed025 if you are about - I have just got home from Anfield. After our recent exchange I kept a close watch on Andre Gomes. He confirmed my view that he is a nice, skilful footballer who is a bit slow and heavy. In fact, I think I could beat him in a race - unless there was a pie for the winner in which case I would have no chance. I thought that Wijnaldum was the best midfielder on the pitch. I know we all watch the game through our own tinted specs but those are my honest opinions. Also, Pickford proved that Ed01 is right - he is the new Paddy Kenny.

{Ed025's Note - jordan made a massive faux pas WW thats very true, the rest of your post is a biased load of crap though mate im afraid..

Hailstones, fickle mate. Acknowledge that he is one of our top 3 players, support him through his lean period and watch him come good again soon. It’s called ‘being a Liverpool supporter’.

{Ed025's Note - hailstones is right WW, how about just telling the truth rather than lying through your teeth like you are doing, i like bobby but he has been abysmal this season mate and if you cant see that then you need a rocket up your arse..

10.) 02 Dec 2018
02 Dec 2018 20:59:25
He’s not up top though is he, Hailstones?
That’s maybe the problem, since the positional change he hasn’t looked half as effective. He looks a little stale, time for a little while off perhaps?

{Ed025's Note - drop him you mean juicer?, absolutely because he has been bloody awful this season and a complete waste of space..

The touch he made to stop Wallcott to probably score was my favorite moment of the match. Ofc after Origi's goal.

{Ed025's Note - allison was your man of the match mart...i think that tells you everything mate..

"Bloody aweful. Waste of space". Hey Ed25, chill out, man. Bobby is having a lean spell but you're a bit too harsh on him, IMO. Bobby is playing a new position which is clearly affecting his perfs. and he is doing it for the team and not sulking (like some players in your lot over the years I can mention) cos that is where Klopp needs him.

Bobbie did not have a good game and should have subbed him off instead of Salah BUT he did play some great balls into Mane and Salah and had they converted, it is a diff. story. We can argue about if that is the right thing for Klopp to do BUT pls, let's not overblow the situation here with all the personal attacks on the player. Great game n great derby and we done to Everton, today. Cheers, man.

{Ed025's Note - i was not slagging the guy off red wolf, last year he was probably liverpools most important player, but he set a standard that he has not nearly lived up to this season mate, has he been awful?...yes he has but we all know there is more to come from him..

Ed025, of course I am biased, so are you, it’s all part of being a committed supporter of our respective clubs. That’s why I acknowledged in my post that we all watch the game through our red/ blue tinted specs. As for Bobby Firmino, I agree he has been very poor this season but I really think we should persevere with and support him rather than drop him - I believe he will find his form sooner rather than later. Expressing the reasonable opinion that he is one of our top 3 players when on form is just that, an opinion, not lying through my teeth. I try not to lie about anything.

{Ed025's Note - i agree on bobby WW, but it does not hide the fact that he has been awful this season, i am of course biased, but you take it to a whole new level mate..

Ed025, thanks for that, I have always wanted to be good at something. 👍.

{Ed025's Note - your welcome mate.. :)

Yes Alisson is MOM, deffinetly. I never said anything like Everton did bad or smh. Your players came to win and they almost did but Alisson was a brickwall, couldn't get past it (with the help of Gomez) Draw was the logical result, but honestly if a team was to win it had to be Liverpool in my opinion based on overall statistics.
Be proud ed, finnaly a Everton team up to the challange, its been a while.

{Ed025's Note - i am proud of them marto and it was certainly a tale of 2 keepers mate..

Lol Wirral 'I thought that Wijnaldum was the best midfielder on the pitch. ' what game was you watching mate ;) hahaha. I agree with most of your posts but your opinion on Wijnaldum is the opposite of mine mate which is fine of course :) but I am personally fed up of the lack of quality he is showing.

He will always get my support, he's a Liverpool player and Klopp knows a lot more than me but if I had it my way he'd be gone in January. Obviously that isn't going to happen, I just don't get why he is picked ahead of seemingly every midfielder we have. BUT I'm no manager, just my opinion.

17.) 03 Dec 2018
03 Dec 2018 08:15:32
I can think of a couple occasions in the game where Wijnaldum pulled out of tackles where the ball was there to be won, in a derby game, that did it for me. Don't understand why he starts.

Agreed Worminator, he goes missing far too often, he reminds me of a headless chicken, he acts like he's busy when really he's doing bugger all.

I love Bobby and he does a lot of things that goes unnoticed. But i would like us to buy a pure striker in Jan if not then in summer. Having a pure striker as a different option or bringing him on as a sub would strike fear in our opposition.
We have a good defence and have decent option in midfield ( specially if Keita and Fab comes good) but we need proper replacement in attack. Sturridge, solanke and Origi should leave and we should buy one player who is an upgrade over these guys.

Crazy, if you have not noticed, Bobbie does not play the CF position anymore. He is playing a much deeper role now and Salah is now popping up in the CF position now for the most part. If you watched any of our games of late including last night, you would see that. Also, I disagree and I don't believe we need a strike, IMO. We just need to get the team to play complete football esp. in midfield cos the chances are still coming and we are still scoring goals and winning games so why go get a striker just for of it who will need to adapt all over again when we have Studge and a returning (knock on wood) Origi? Come on, man.

{Ed0333's Note - I would have Origi as first sun ahead of Studge now. The lad is ready again.
