Would anyone take Harry Wilson back in January? Seems like he could be more useful than sturridhe or origi off the bench or as a rotation option.

No, the lad is doing brilliantly at Derby and he'll benefit from a full season there instead of sitting on our bench - remember that dreadful decision to bring Danny Ward back from loan at Aberdeen.

I think it's much better to leave him be, to develop himself and his confidence to the maximum possible. Klopp can have a serious look in the summer and then decide. We just went through a situation where a player having an excellent loan was brought back and then not used at all (Danny Ward) .

Poor Danny if only he’d been allowed to stay at Huddersfield for the season when they got promoted his career could be in a completely different place!

I would say no. This is probably one of the best loan deals we’ve had in a while. Wilson is playing well, scoring and is good for his development.

It’s working for all parties involved, Derby, LFC and the player himself.

Whilst he would be useful to have in the squad and would get a reasonable amount of game time (imo), I think his development is better served playing every week at Derby rather than here and there for us.

Fully agree with everyone else on this one. Bringing him back January may do more harm than good. Best time for him is pre season when he has the time to adjust his game for Klopps tactics. Right now he is on fire in a system he is now fully adjusted to. Leave him be as he will come back confident and hungry to take the next step in his career.

Wilson is killing it at Derby right now so why would we stop the momentum and bring him back into team where he more than likely, will not get the same level of game time like the huge amounts he's getting now? Leave the kid where he is and let him develop and let's see what see what happens next preseason.
