Wherever you are in the world, good morning Ed002!

There's been lots of talk of clubs being looked at/ investigated for breach of FFP, I remember you mentioned we were at one point.

Not Liverpool related but Man City are under the spot light for FFP and there's been talk that they might be banned from Europe next season.

Guardiola has come out and said they will not be banned However, after speaking to chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak and chief executive Ferran Soriano, Guardiola does not think the club have anything to fear.

Do you think UEFA will issue a ban if found guilty?

{Ed002's Note - I am in London today, arrived late last night. Found a concert to attend this evening and off to somewhere else tomorrow. I am not aware of any further ban due to Manchester City. The @leaked@ information was spread over a four year period and much related to the original offence for which they have been punished already. There are no charges at this time so they cannot be found guilty, but if they were a ban would be the next step. Clubs who are repeat offenders are normally banned, Galatasaray are a good example.}

FFP is like when parents threaten kids that Santa won't come if they carry on being bad. Nothing ever happens to the big clubs.

{Ed002's Note - Bennett Wilson Poole - two of them are old chums.}

Not Man City-related, but on ownership issues; there’s an article in The Telegraph about Roman Abramovich and possible links to Putin.
In the light of the UK’s souring relationship with Russia, and how this may affect Mr Abramovich’s ownership of Chelsea FC, could the owner (in theory) require the repayment of debts listed to Fordstam if he were (forced) to sell?

{Ed002's Note - Roman Abramovich cannot be forced to sell and the debts were turned in to equity. If he sold the money all goes to him as it is his asset. But certainly the British Government is making it difficukt for the likes of Alisher Usmanov and RA.}

Ok, thanks for the info.

What part of London are you staying Ed002 ? Will you get to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea / City?!

{Ed002's Note - I am staying at the airport. I don't have time to go to the game tody.}

Thanks Ed, broadening our football and musical education.
Just had a quick blast of ‘Soon Enough ‘, sounds quite Byrds-like.
Should be a good night.
Safe travels.

{Ed002's Note - Tony Poole plays a Rickenbacker better than Mcguinn.}
