Looks like it's either Henderson or Wijnaldum at right back tonight? My nerves have just been ratcheted up :/.

Wijnaldum who doesn't like tackling!

Behave, gini is a fantastic tackler. My concern is that he has spent most of his career as an attack minded player and will his natural instinct cause us problems.
Actually he is quite a similar player to taa.

Seriously though if lovren and matip were both fit who would you rather see play with vvd obviously gomez is the preferred pairing but with him out who would be best with Virgil.

I know we have to give new signings time to settle but we are pretty much on the run in now and I hate to say it but Keita has not shown why we paid 70mil for him.

Atm gini looks like the 70mil mid whole Keita looks like the 35mil man.

Robbie, well we din't pay 70m for him so that's one thing (we paid 53m) . Secondly, you are going to have to suck it up and allow Keita to grow and if it takes one season to do it then so be it. Why? We have seen glimpses of what he can do this season and the injuries and playing out of position haven't helped either.

Now I don't know if you are one of those "instant gratification" types BUT if you want Keita to succeed for LFC, is it not fair to give him all the time he needs to get going OR is there a rule book that says a player needs X amount of time to get going and if he can't he should be binned? Just a thought.

Whilst I think you are underestimating how much he cost us, one thing I like about Klopp is that he doesn't want instant success and is happy to ease players in (as long as they are working hard) .

{Ed0333's Note - Klopp doesn’t want instant success what do you mean mate?

I'm certainly not an "instant gratification person" redwolf. But, Keita has hardly lit the premiership alight has he.

Don't get me wrong, I still believe he will come good and it may take a season or two before we see the best of him, like gini for example.

All I'm saying is he has not been anywhere near as good as I thought he would be. Yet.

How many goals has he scored? How many assists? None and none I think.

He needs to up his game, 25 games is not instant BTW, you would expect a player of his calibre to have started firing by now.

Also redwolf, I by no means want Keita to be binned. I think he is going to continue to play at this level this season, getting better and then next year, when he is no longer the new boy and can speak better english will become the player we know he can be.

But you have to admit, he hasn't been very impressive has he? Glimpses, yes. But rondon shows glimpses of class as do lallana, sturridge. There are loads.

I'm not worried just venting after a frustrating night.

However, regarding the result. I'm not ecstatic but I am pleased. We have extended our lead over city and that is our aim.

Very disappointed with keita his stats are shocking no goals no assists an cost us what 50 mill plus. I think we bought his twin Brian as this guy is nowt like naby I watched last season at Red bull.

I’m with you Robbie, Keita has been underwhelming this season but has struggled with injuries plus I imagine settling in isn’t easy when you can’t speak the language and your only pal is Mane who prefers his own company anyway. Doesn’t help that most on here, probably myself included, saw him as the 2nd coming of Illori. That said I think with some more game time this season and another full pre season to settle in, adapt to the Prem and learn the language and we’ll see the Keita we were all expecting.

No prob, Robbie. Naby will come good. He will get all the time he needs to get going cos he is a fantastic player, no doubt.
