Ed002,

I was curious if you had an opinion or knew anything regarding Naby Keita's maturity level. I recall you bringing up a number of issues during his time at Leipzig, such as bragging about how much money he is making. I know there have been injuries, but's been somewhat of a disappointment this season. He's clearly gifted, but is struggling to make any impact. Is this down to just injuries, or is he still acting immature?

Thank you for your time.

{Ed002's Note - I think it is todo with attitude; he arrived after a bunch of issues in Germany - the court case was a big deal, the restaurant issue was an absolute disgrace and there were language issues, the car, the red suit and not showing up for training. He has had more than 18 months to learn English but that has not worked out. The club will persist - at least for a while.}

He sort of reminds me of Sakho. I don’t know too much about his issues, but it seemed like he was too immature a person to live up to his hype as a player. Only positive I see is that JK doesn’t have patience for those antics. Hopefully Naby gets it together before JK runs out of patience.

What was the restaurant issue?

Or is that a can of worms we don’t want to open.

{Ed002's Note - It is no secret; leaving a restaurant he took a bunch of notes, screwed them up and threw them on the ground leaving the staff to pick up their tips from the floor.}

Seems like he is a troll person. We can see that on the bezzies video with Mane aswell. Its not bad to be such person, but you need to know when you hit the limit and stop. Seems like he still needs someone to show him where the limts are, let's hope Klopp is the guy, as Keita has talents and he can become one of the best if he keeps it calm otherwise we can look at someone like Balotelli and wasted career.

Classy ☹️
Dare I ask for your opinion on how salvageable this is ed2? Is he just "like that" and so beyond help or you think can be taught how people in a normal society should behave?
Thanks for any and all input 👍.

{Ed002's Note - All of the issues were in Germany and many were a result of bravado after signing for Liverpool. If the language issue could be over come it would make life easier for everyone.}

This season has been a settling in season for him.
We’ll see if he can knuckle down next season, it’s too early to judge him.
Thanks for the insight ed002 - most grateful 🤝.

{Ed002's Note - I don't think using excuses such as "settling in" are addressing the issue.}

{Ed002's Note - In Germany.}

Not even going to excuse the boy for the restaurant incident. That kind of behavior isn't welcome not just at a football club but in society.

Hugely disappointing to hear this.

{Ed002's Note - This was a year ago and RBL read the riot act.}
