Liverpool sit top of the table having qualified for the last 8 of the champions league only a few days before. Quite an achievement but still people moan. I don't get it, most would not of dreamed of this at the start of the season. Van Dijk has made his error for the year, Mane continues to score at will, and without being at 100% or full throttle the team are grinding out results. People of my age will remember the great Liverpool teams grinding out results, scoring late on and winning ugly. Well this team is doing just that. With Gomez almost ready for his comeback, a hint of the Ox being close and the likes of Keita, Salah and Firmino yet to hit their straps the run in looks to be very exciting . As a Welshman I watched a Grand Slam rugby performance from a Welsh team, playing in red and grinding out results. This Liverpool team are doing the same and whilst they have had a few hiccups, so have City (Swansea scared them), Palace beat them and let's face it Man Utd could yet have a big say in who wins the premiership. So let's just enjoy the ride, my cup is half full, what about yours-as an aside, after my catastrophic spinal injury of 16 months ago,2 weeks ago I was able to stand for the first time. All I need to do now is get my legs to move forward. Anything is possible. You've just got to believe.

All very true. A win is a win is a win. At this stage of the season I don't care if we play terribly and win the rest of our games with own goals!
Sorry to hear about your spinal injury bud. Keep up the positivity the mind is a powerful thing! All the best with your recovery and hope you can be dancing in joy with us winning titles in the near future 💪.

I would like to wish you a speedy recovery. Hope things are not too bad for you.
The rest of your post I couldn't agree with. End of the day a win was a win so that's good. I just feel that other teams such as Arsenal or city would have smashed 3 or 4 goals and we should be doing the same.

Hey Mike, sounds like you’re making great progress. I founded a spinal injury rehab organisation in the UK. Ask the Eds to connect us if you want to learn more. Best wishes.

Walter why 😂.

{Ed001's Note - because he lives in this fantasy world where Arsenal are actually good and have a good manager instead of Emery.}

wow, thankyou guys. I have to say this sight has made my rehab a little more bearable and the encouragement you have just provided drives me even harder. I now live in Australia so being a long way from home, it was a huge shock and with no family other than my missus and my boys, it was all a bit daunting. But from day one I have believed, which is what I was trying to say. We have to believe then anything is possible. I have set myself goals and my greatest goal was to get back to the UK, to show family and friends that I am fine and slowly fixing myself. So on 1st May I fly back to old blighty and dream of witnessing Liverpool lifting not just the premiership but also the Champions league-why not I say. I am a tetraplegic for life, but one day I will be back to some sort of normal, for now i work with physios 5 days a week, and cannot thank them enough-as for Liverpool, please, please do this. Give us the dream. To flyPelicanfly, thankyou for your thoughts, I will endeavour to contact you.

Wow, go on Mike. Seems you’ve got the strength that we all could do with a bit of. Congratulations on the massive milestone and best of luck in your recoveries. Sometimes seems a bit superfluous to say, but in you case especially, it’s one more focal point, so with that, come on the redmen!

One major thing I learnt last year Mike was, this site comes together for their own. What the Eds have created here is something special and I'm sure you are seeing that mate. Please keep us all updated on your progress, I look real forward to hear when you're jumping around after we win the PL :) . Remember mate, everybody here is wishing you the absolute best.
