Just saw this morning that Salah has won back possession in the final 3rd on 32 occassions this season; more than any other player.

Salah 32
Kante 31
Redmond 28
Richarlison 26

(Madness that Kante is in that list when he plays predominantly in the middle 3rd! )

Not sure how relevant it is. Just surprised me he was ahead of Bobby and Mane who seem to be universally accepted as the harder working forwards in our side.

{Ed001's Note - they tend to track back more, so I would think they would have better stats in the middle and defensive third instead.}

That's a good point Ed001. Just shows how lucky we are to have 3 forwards who all score double figures, but also put in an almighty shift all over the park.

I wouldn't swap any of them to be honest. They're so perfect for Klopp's style and the hustke and bustle of English football.

Whilst I've got you, I've been really impressed with Salah staying on his feet lately. He seems to have gone from going down easily to being impossible to bring down at all. Has Klopp had a word do you think?

{Ed001's Note - yes and he did so publicly as well remember.}

I don't really pay much attention to pressers to be honest mate! Glad Klopp got the message across either way. I don't actually think he was diving by definition. There was always contact. But he was going down too easily and it was bound to bite us on the backside eventually. He's good enough to just ride the challenges anyway.

Nice stat, OP. This is why those judging Salah based on goals alone, are doing him and the rest of the front three a HUGE disservice and is an insult to them for all they do for us apart from scoring goals.
