Everyone's celebrating city loosing more than us winning 😂😂😂.

I was watching both games at the same time. I can't believe how gutted I felt when City scored at the end but I knew they would. I was so upset I switched off lol.

Anyways no more quadruple talk. I know City won but that'll give a huge boost to spurs and other teams in the league.

Meanwhile we coast through hardly breaking sweat. It's becoming a habit. This could be our year!

I would have preferred City to go thru myself. Just to give them those 2 extra hard games, like we have.

I wanted to watch the City game after Liverpool scored the 3rd but I just couldn’t switch over. Loyalty, FOMO, superstition. Call it what you like but there is a privilege that comes with being. Liverpool supporter which has to be respected.

I’m with you Irish Rover would’ve preferred City to win. 2 extra games. Also I feel if city had knocked out spurs spurs could’ve had a bit of fight back in the league this weekend. But now I feel spurs will roll over and get hammered by city this weekend.

Spurs can't afford to roll over, they're in as much of a scrap for CL places as we are for the league.

Their game is irrelevant, all I'm fussed about is our win. I'll be a Spurs and Liverpool fan at the weekend but if City win, they win, they've got more difficult games, it's not the end of the world, not when you think of their defence and keeper. Again, I'll say it for the millionth time! every single time they get attacked they're bloody poor and at this stage of the season, teams need results, they will be attacked, god help them. The minority will agree with me because it seems many are bloody blind but Ederson is useless, under pressure he simply can't do his job, he's average at the very best. Same goes for their defence and people are worried about them not dropping points? give over, you'll see them drop points, trust me. There's only one winner this season and it's us. We'll leave them in the dust.

I disagree, I think Poch will change tactics and play 1 up flooding the midfield and be happy with a point. City will find it harder to score against them on Saturday. Spurs new how important an away goal was last night and played an open game.

But it's also in Spurs' best interest to win on Saturday to secure their Top 4 spot ASAP so that they can rest their players for the CL semi-final.

Spurs will be very light of midfield options though. Sissoko injured his groin and winks and dier still out. Wanyama their only real option. I fancy city to beat them well personally but hope I'm wrong.

Initially I was in the same boat, Irish.

But city’s players are human at the end of the day, and such a crushingly cruel way to go out is going to be mentally very draining. I guess we shall see at the weekend whether it makes them fight harder for the win, or leaves them vulnerable.
