Goid morning Tris a bit much about taking the cup off them, didn't real Madrid drop the cops del rea off the top of a bus and the bus rolled over it, also didn't man city make bits of the premier league 2 weeks ago when it was dropped off the balcony nobody took their cups off them.

{Ed001's Note - I think it was more deflection because the Chinese lost embarrassingly.}

What was deal with the player putting the foot on the cup. Was he trying to be insulting in some way or is this a case of China being sore losers and trying to find anything they can for some payback? I don't get the insult at all. Players do all sorts of weird things with a cup celebrating.

{Ed001's Note - it was insulting, the South Koreans agreed, as they acted like they were conquering the Chinese, making them lose 'face'. However the reaction was about deflection of how badly the Chinese lost.}

Thanks very much Ed, have a good Friday mate! roll on tomorrow!

{Ed001's Note - it seems to have taken forever!}

Im guessing the scottish reserve league is extremely physical, and that hibs are worried about their youngsters getting battered.

Did Norway have a chance to finish second ed01? Did that have any bearing on young haaland scoring 8! His old man played in the prem didn't he? And didn't he injure someone (maybe liverpool player) really badly, almost career ending injury? I could have that all wrong.

{Ed001's Note - no they just moaned about the new set up having crap facilities and lacking a competitive set up.

I don't know if Norway could have finished second or not, sorry. But yes his dad did play in the Prem with Leeds, Man City and Forest (I think) and it was him who Roy Keane tried to do and hurt himself in the process. It is what is known as karma.}

Wow those stadium attendances. So that means that on average 41% of Seria A stadium seats are empty? I guess the smaller clubs in particular have trouble filling seats.

{Ed001's Note - that is why Juventus moved to a smaller stadium.}

Ah that's right yeah. The Stadio delle Alpi was dreadful and often half empty.

{Ed001's Note - the Milan teams and Roma are all looking to move to new stadiums as well.}

Far too long Ed mate I don't like it at all, it's done my bloody head in waiting this long, I'm even pissed off to wait another day for it but today's going quick, I just hope the rest of the day does too. I just know though, tomorrow daytime is going to drag like hell isn't it!? God help us but on another note. Bring them on! I'll be right this time lol.

{Ed001's Note - I think dragging it out until the evening is the killer.}

That's not the only reason Italian teams want new stadiums Ed. Most of them are not owned by the club's and they only get a very small percentage of gate receipts they want to move to a stadium they own so they can earn more money.

{Ed001's Note - actually that's not true. Roma want their own stadium, but most don't because they can't afford to run them. Most of them just want a smaller modern stadium.}

just to add to the south korea losing the trophy, they mimicked urinating on the cup too. given relations between countries in the region, that was never going to look good.

also the south koreans were accused of mimicking urinating on the cup. given the relations in that region, that is not going to go unnoticed.
