I don't think it would have mattered. Fate was on our side last night. The cup already had our name on it.

We are European Royalty and we have won Big Ears 6 times.

What have Citeh done in Europe?

Not being arrogant but we are a top European side and Citeh are wannabees.

No side in Europe would be happy to be drawn against us in the Champions League.

We should embrace the fact that we are European Champions and nobody is going to take that title off us without an almighty fight.

{Ed025's Note - playing devils advocate tommy i suppose city could say liverpool are premiership wannabees mate...just saying like..

Why celebrate us winning the Champions League by saying that another team is better? I just don’t get it.

Ed 025 I take your point and fully accept that so far as the EPL is concerned we are wannabees.

We are desperate to win that title.

Under Klopp we have improved year on year and we are a brilliant European Cup side.

We have to continue that next season and we have to go again in the EPL.

At least we took it to Citeh and didn’t cave in like the rest of the league. We were totally brilliant but Citeh were outstanding. Two wonderful EPL sides!

Pep knows we are not going away and I think he knows he will have a tough time next season.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Pep leave Citeh at the end of next season so it could be a cracking race for the title.

{Ed025's Note - i think it will be tommy, city and liverpool are miles above the rest mate and it should be another cracking encounter..

Ed0025 I genuinely wish Everton good luck next season and would love to see you above Man Utd and challenging for top 4.

{Ed025's Note - so would i tommy..cheers mate..

What I was saying was sometimes you need luck an playing city would have been dangerous they are an ultra confident team on the up and have won trophies were spurs have a 30 year monkey on there back of not winning anything, I know who I would rather face, anyway it doesn't matter we are champs an screw the rest!

Ed025, I'd love to see Liverpool and Everton in the FA cup final next season. I don't think that's outside the realm of possibility either.

{Ed025's Note - it would be great stone, i remember the first 2 with great fondness mate..

As its nearly bed time?

"Lets talk about six, baby"

As in inches of course not trophies? 007 can still knock a six inch nail in with it!

P. S. No one has mentioned massive Liverpool fan Callum Smith who successfully defended his WBA Super Middleweight Crown in New York, was on same card as Joshua, has not been a good weekend for London.

Spurs lost at Citeh but got through by VAR and away goals but we beat Citeh home and away when we played them in Champions League last season.

Pep would not want to play us.

We should fear no one in European competition.

We are head and shoulders above all EPL teams so far as European football is concerned and we should embrace that and ask the rest to bring it on.

City are only ultra confident in prem league. In Europe they don't have the same swagger and confidence they do in the league because teams fight for the game. In the prem league 90% of teams lose before they step on the pitch because of the image and reputation they have cultivated.

In Europe they are no more threatening than PSG in fact I would say that is the most accurate comparison to city. Anyone can beat city in Europe, including us.

I don't agree completely Nevada. Slight contradiction as the last 2 seasons they have come up short against 2 English sides. They are a great team under pep and will always be capable of beating any European side.
