I have to say I am not a fan of Friday night football. If Ed0025 is about I would like to ask him what he expects Everton to achieve this coming season? at the very least they should be challenging for Europa league football imo.

{Ed025's Note - yeah i think that will be our goal KK, i would like to think we will be challenging the likes of arsenal chelsea and united for the last CL spot but i am a realist mate so maybe the season after..

you never know what football can bring Ed025, personally I think you need to become more consistent on the field and more streetwise in who you sign and how much you sign them for. You ended the season strong though mate especially at Goodison, your home form will be key I feel.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that KK, we have wasted a lot of money lately but brands seems to be sorting out getting rid of some of the dutch elm that has infested us mate, the defence has really improved under silva and the midfield is our strong suit so its a prolific striker we really need, of course they command top dollar but if you can get a good one then its money well spent, our home form in the last 3rd of last season was very strong and i agree with you that this will be key to any success we may have..

I think Everton must be looking to catch arsenal next season, they seem shot to bits. It'll be interesting to see what Wolves do again especially with the uefa Cup to contend with.

Ed25, I agree with those points HOWEVER, your best CB Kurt Zouma may be going back to Chelsea this season and that may be a problem for the defence going forward.

{Ed025's Note - yeah very much so redwolf, kurt was immense for us and will be a big loss if we cant keep hold of him (which seems unlikely), i dont think mina is the answer either so we may have to delve into the moshiri coffers to get a replacement which wont be easy mate..

I think Arsenal will be top 4 next season. I see a lot of similarities between Arsenal under Emery as I did with Liverpool under Klopp in his first year (which also ended in Europa cup final disappointment) and it took him a few years to build from there. I see Emery doing a similar job. They have a great keeper, great strikers, and a lot of young a hungry players who just need time. I don't know why, I just have a feeling they'll be decent next year and finish 3rd or 4th. Then be challenging the year after that. Emery is a fantastic manager in my opinion. Hopefully I'm completely wrong because I sit next to an Arsenal fan at work and his misery fuels me. Only time I saw him happy was the Monday after we beat Spurs in the CL final!

Not a chance Everton are not a top 6 team at all, Marco Silva is not a good manager I think he will be sacked by Christmas.

I think arsenal have a lot to do. I actually don't rate the keeper, and that defence is in need of a complete overhaul. Xhaka, doesn't quite do enough, torreira ghendouzi, young and potentially can be great midfielders but not consistent enough yet. Lack of any quality wide players. 2 quality strikers to be fair, but I feel the amount of time emery needs to build from back to front, auba will be passed it, ozil will be gone and possibly lacazette.

Huge job on his hands, fans won't be long getting itchy for emerys head . Wenger really left a very unbalanced squad behind. If I was a top defender, I really wouldn't want to be joining that back 3 or 4. Poisoned chalice that job I feel. I think this year is best chance for a Everton, a wolves, possibly a west ham to take advantage of arsenal, United maybe Chelsea at their most vulnerable time.
