When we won the final, there were immediate reports Liverpool were set to offer Klopp a new contract and all that. I mean this was everywhere, so you'd like to believe it was true. But the other day Klopp said it's not the time to be thinking about contracts etc. he didn't turn it down did he?

His current contract has 3 years left which will take him to 7 years at the club.

He spent 7 years at Mainz. 7 years at Dortmund. It's not an unrealistic scenario that he will simply take another sabbatical at the end of his current contract. He's an intense guy. Maybe he won't commit to longer because in the past he's needed a break or maybe he only ever planned to stay 7 years.

Either way, who cares. That's 3 more shots at the title before we need to worry about him actually leaving. Klopp wants to focus on the present and I can't knock that.

This has been reported a lot over the last few weeks, he still has what 3 years? Remaining on his current contract and he’s happy with what he’s got. He’s under no pressure to sign a new one any time soon and I think more importantly from his perspective is getting the players to sign new contracts so he isn’t worried at all about his own.
