Ed002 you will probably hammer me for asking this but I'm getting a little frustrated at lack of activity I guess. I'm reading plenty of things happening on Other pages.

Do you still expect us to sign a forward player this window, and is Cornett still a real possibility or has there been no more contact at this point.

Our squad looks decent. Second best squad in the prem. big season for Keita, think he’ll be beast for us this season. If we start well next week and get on a good run early, get a bit of luck on the way then we’ve got a great chance of winning the league. No need to panic if we don’t buy another attacker. This squad is built to win things.

I agree Ed0333 mate but Cornett as an option on either wing improves us over sticking Origi or Brewster pot of position out there.

{Ed0333's Note - I’ve only ever seen him play against City when I think he scored. He was useful from what I remember mate but I’ll have to take you’re word for it as I can’t make a judgement after a only seeing him for a few mins. Origi played on the left wing most of the time he came on last season no? Not sure he’ll be out of position there?

I don't have a problem with it cuz this place is quiet without people posting, but you shouldn't get defensive when someone calls you on it, just let it wash over you. My prediction, a good offer for Wilson and we'll replace him with someone. If not, we won't buy any more first team squad players.

Rugby I’m interested to no of any developments. No doubt you are also, as well as 99% of users to this great site. If we all posted mundane crap and never asked anything then it wouldn’t be the site it is mate. Shaq brings little other than to jump on the likes of me but if Ed had replied with something he would of took the info and hung onto it like the rest of us.

I do ask a lot but what’s that old saying again? Others ask at the likes of Zaha Mbappe and other stabs in the dark that are never happening.

I will become more passive then and not ask things maybe.

You've asked this 50 times over the summer though. 40 of which have been answered with "we will let you know if anything changes" apparently you don't understand what this means. It doesn't mean that if something changes they will wait for you to ask before making the big reveal. It means if something changes they will simply share the information.

Virgil, please don't take this as a personal attack but I enjoy the debates on this site more than the questions. I'd guess most people would agree on that too. I think you have confused what is mundane and what is interesting.

The editors provide some stunning articles, and offer detailed replies to original questions. There is even a daily update article every morning. I'm sure that if anything changes Tris will put it in there if nowhere else so you really don't need to ask mate. Nobody is attacking you. The page is called "banter" so please don't confuse some light hearted fun with actual abuse.

People are just pointing out that you ask the same question almost daily and then you are the first person to pull others up if they ask a question that's been answered. It's very hipcritocal so you have to expect to take it if you give it.

Virgil, why does it bother you so much if anything changes from day to day? I don’t really want to know about a player unless he signs for the club. When people hear about offers that are rejected people abuse the club for trying to do things on the cheap. Then if it’s an excessive fee they question why they spend so much on a certain player 🙈 so just relax mate and stop asking for daily updates.
