I was surprised how close we were to city today. Lots of positives and feel better now about Norwich. Long season ahead. Bring on Friday!

I was too, I really thought we'd lose big. Glad I was wrong.

OP, I was never worried about Norwich cos provided we bring our A game, they will not be able to handle us esp. at Anfield. The official homecoming of Big Ears to Anfield for the first tim would have brought way too much energy for Norwich to handle already.
I do agree that it was nice to see how good we looked vs City who were gasping for breathe throughout the whole second half. I'm just happy for one thing, tho: Football is Back!

I thought we played well, both teams looked a little rusty. Going to be a battle again can't wait, bring on the season. 😁.

Ed025 I thought the community shield really didn't matter. Now you're saying it was still a loss. It really doesn't matter, does it?

{Ed025's Note - not one jot stone, its a nothing competition as far as im concerned mate and i would be saying the same thing even if everton won it..

Spot on, Ed25. The CS is a nothing trophy in it of itself and I personally, could not be arsed. I'm just happy we took the game seriously just like City did and matched them step for step and pummeled them into near submisson. That always feels good.
