I am in awe of the impact that Bobby has on the team, especially in games like last night’s where he comes on for the second half and totally changes the game. He has done it time and time again for us and when he plays, the team is in a different gear.

The way he plays with such intelligence and selflessness is incomparable to any other striker in the world.

I’m glad he underrated and people question his goal tally, stops the likes of Barca, Real, PSG coming after him, because if he were to go whilst still in his peak, how on earth would we replace him? Can his style of play even be coached?

I hope he stays fit for the season and continues to do what Bobby does, first name of the team sheet for me every time.

Toonred he is my favourite ever liverpool cf. And that is saying something. God, of course comes a close second. Totally different players. I think bobby has had more of an impact on the team than any other cf. Rush is still probably my fave but bobby is a one of a kind.

I was heartbroken when gerrard left. I think id feel the same way about bobby and henderson. Their intensity is massive in the final third for different reasons. Its the effort they put in. Unbelievable.

I love the way he approaches the game. A match of grit, intelligence, perception of play and, of course, a dollop of Brazilian swagger.

Spot on, lads. sometimes, I shudder to think where Bobbie would be now or we would be now as a club, had Klopp not come in and BR was still in charge for another couple of years after Bobbie signed. Bobbie would have prolly left us now and considered a Liverpool flop with the clueless way BR handled him. He is amazing and frankly, I am done having to defend him against clueless posters who just want to slate him cos all they look at is his goals' tally and cos he is not scoring goals at the numbers Harry Kane does.

He is the most important player in our squad, the work he does and link up play is top class, who cares he don’t score lot of goals, he is the most unselfish player there is.

If people can’t see that he brings others into space and plays clever passes in tight situations then I can’t help them and I expect no amount of corrective eye surgery would either. He’s probably the best at what he does as he enables two 20+ goals a season players alongside him and weighs in with a respectable tally himself. He’s the sort who could easily slot into centre midfield later in his career because of his work rate and intelligence on the ball.

the little pass for are first goal was pure class on first view I thought he shot it and the keeper saved it. It was only on the replay from the other angle you could see the outside off the foot pass. Yeah my fav player of this team too can't think of a more important player in are front 3 he gives so much all ways team first.

If you want to know the depth of a person's football knowledge, bring up Bobby Firmino. If they start banging on about "doesn't score enough for a no 9" then go and talk to the goldfish. Or a potted plant. You'll get more sense.

Bobby is LFC stealth technology.

When we attack their defence has no idea what he is going to do or when they do know they still can’t do anything about it.

Bobby would fit in well with a side having Alonso and Iniesta and Silva. : players who have vision and technique and they are guys who played the game at another level.

{Ed025's Note - your typically over-hyping him tommy, hes a very good player who had a stormer yesterday, but last season he was hit and miss and even on these pages the most biased fans in the world were giving him a bit of stick mate..

The king rarely topped goal scoring charts, but no-one says Rush / Aldridge were better players.

Bobbies a one off and our attack is based on him weaving his magic, if you can't see that I pity you, he's a one off, therfore the best at what he does.

My opinion is he's a great player that works perfectly in the system that Klopp plays as we have mane and Salah that can score goals too. It's not your natural goal poacher that so many number 9s are like fowler Owen or in the premiership now like Kane. Now I hate Kane he's a selfish player but his goals speak for themself. I would rather Firmino in the Liverpool team than Kane as I don't see Kane working for us but if you asked fans of the other 19 clubs of the premier they would probably all take Kane over Bobby. Every players value is how they work in the team they are in. There aren't many players now that you can just shove in a team just because they are good. There's been many examples of great players not working at clubs because they don't suit the system.

A very good player but works against big teams because they don't park it. Park it and bobby is a bit of a liability cuz there is no hole to play in.
He drops in the midfield a hell lot for me. His goals will come if he can play false 9 and be a target man as per situation. He certainly is a 9 but when there need be a target his game doesn't adapt which is a shame because he can be both.

Anyone saying he doesn't score enough goals is an idiot. If not for him our wingers would not be picking up golden boots.

The game has changed. So what, if the forward line are scoring tonnes of goals, does it matter which one scores them?

I'd still say Virgil is most important.

If you look at the games firmino hasn't played for us the last 2 years it's fascinating to see the stats of salah and mane in those fixtures. They hardly score or play well without firmino it's so clear to see his huge importance as a forward. Kane, aubameyang, lewandowski, mbappe, cavani would not improve us in place of bobby.
