Would just like to praise Adrian.
Yes he has made some mistakes but he has also made decent saves in all matches. Agains't Burnley I thought he was good and made a couple of good punches and catches when Burnley slug it in the box. I feel more confident with him in goal than Mings or Karius.

Have read Allison is still 3 to 4 weeks away, so Adrian will still be needed for the next few matches.

Echo those thoughts Mark. We as LFC fans should know how important a keeper can be to the outcome of results and Adrian has more than played his part in our 100% start to the season.

He has done well considering he wasnt match fit, chucked in at the deep end. Fair play to him and the defence for doing well.

They weren't just decent, they were very good, he's a good keeper and competent with the ball at his feet, he just needs to avoid being over-confident, which led to the Southampton mistake as he dawdled on the ball. I'm already far more confident with him in goal than I ever was with Mignolet or Mignolet in goal.

Massive improvement on Migs and Karius, means we are not desperate to rush Alisson back.

I'm really impressed with his one on one abilities, which i think are vitally important for a team that plays quite a high line like us. Happy with him, and delighted he got a clean sheet at the weekend.

I’ve been impressed not only with his goalkeeping, but his kicks as well. His passes with feet are better than average I’d say.

Lemuel - Mignolet was that good you named him twice lol.

And also we paly a lot through our keeper because Ali is that good with his feet, hard for the team to adjust to a keeper not at the same quality to be fair. Not having a go at Adrian, but passing the ball out probably not part of his repotoure. Thought he looked much improved Saturday.

Lol JK23, other Mignolet was Karius.

Compare his palm out to Leno’s yesterday. He may not be as good as Alisson but he is putting a decent shift in. Thought he did alright on Saturday.

Adrian has acquitted himself very well since coming back in. Remember, he had NO preseason and was o nly chucked in at the deep end with a training session or two in his legs or should I say hands. With all these obstacles, he still kept us in the Saints and Chelsea games.

I chalk his mistakes down to wanting to do too much and trying too hard to impress. We now saw how good a GK he can be vs Burnley if he just settles down and get the basics right. As a no. 2, the first thing you want to do is avoid doing any harm and for the most part, he has done that. AB1 will come back after the int'l break if fit BUT now, we don't have to rush him back cos well, we have Adrian San Miguel.

{Ed025's Note - thats not like you redwolf bigging up one of your players for being.... adequate..

Proving to be quite a decent addition to the team. Hats off to the lad.

Yeah totally agree with all on here about him doing well.

One thing to remember is that Allison had a few interesting moments when he first came into the team. The Cruyff turn being the most memorable. Maybe as one poster said, wanting to impress early. The more settled the more relaxed.
