Gotta feel for the mancs, tho. One day, Ole is a genius vs Spurs and City and needs to stay. On another day he is dreadful vs Everton and wait for it, Watford and they are now in meltdown mode and prolly want him sacked in the morning. Wow, so many decisions in so little time, lol.

Oh and btw TheUnbearableReds, your post is brilliant. Bravo, sir.

Solksjaer is a small club manager and thus is able to get results against bigger teams (including us) by grafting and playing counter attacking football. Against other grafters though, he's got neither the ideas or the players to break them down.

Basically, they have, over a very long period, gone from David Moyes to David Moyes lite. They should've just kept him.

Can’t believe how many of them have turned on De Gea! Wow! He’s kept them in the top half of the Premier League single handedly for years but makes a mistake and they want him out! There’s loyalty for you.

Ole has been so smug since they beat city. Glad they lost to Watford, I've missed those images of him under major pressure.

I think the right manager and a few players and they'd be up there. Thing is utd fans are so impatient, mo one has had a chance.

Van Gaal was their best bet, imo.

Mourinho might have worked if he'd given himself a slightly longer break after managing Chelsea to recharge his batteries. But he was an ill-fit with the fans (tbf, he probably would be with ours too) and was never going to be given a period of indifferent results to rebuild the team.

About the only type of manager they haven't tried is a member of the British Dinosaur club that continuously get jobs despite being trapped in the 1980s (I'm excluding Moyes from that group. He was appointed because he was Mr. Ferguson's chosen one) . O'Neill or Pardew next?

I agree, Robbiesline, eleven new players and a different manager and they would have every chance of top 8 at the end of the season.
