Ed002 I finally understand what you mean when you say we are buying the league I didn't really get it before but it sank in properly today I get it now but with the 1st team developing so well can you see a turn of focus towards the youth programme and the future of them being brighter than in recent years or are liverpool happy with the standards they have now I know it's been commented on that we have improved but surely that is just a starting point and not the finished article.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool have traditionally failed the youngsters primarily due to the lack of plans for progression being put in place. Right now, they are still behind the curve but are improvimg slowly.}

Every team tries to buy the league.

Every team buys players so therefore de facto are trying to buy the league. It’s the mix of academy players and buying players who are not yet world class which dilutes the attitude to the club.

Klopp has spent money on only 2 world class player but for the rest had improved the player to make them world class (or closer to it) . I’d argue that Virgil and Alisson have always improved to another level.

{Ed002's Note - If you don't understand then it is best to say nothing.}
