Cheers Ed01, I take it the Football Observatory List is as accurate as it is meaningful.

How are they working out values? based on full squad personnel, I'd have thought Man City would still be valued more than Liverpool. De Bruyne alone is probably valued at the same as our first team midfield. I guess our defence would be valued more and possibly attack, but that's just the regular starting 11. when you look to the bench, would you think city have more expensive options.

{Ed001's Note - they have a huge list of variables they take into account. At the end of the day it is still a guess. Did anyone believe Neymar was worth £200m when PSG paid that much for him? I doubt anyone did, but he was to them or they wouldn't have paid it. So is that his true value or is that just his value to them at that moment in time? Values are really meaningless except for when you play a football management game and need to know how much to bid.}

Thank you, Tris. Any distraction from the apocalyptic world we live at the moment is appreciated. All the best and more importantly, good health.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate, I hope everyone is taking a moment to check on elderly and vulnerable around them. What would we do with those ancients, like Ed025, about us to tell us stories of the 'good old days' when snow was 8 foot deep every winter and English footie was 'proper' with no rolling around for hours on end.}

Cheers Ed and well said Rome1977.

If everyone in the country could try to not to be a dick and try not to panic, we'll get through this a lot easier.

I'm just waiting for them to implement the over 70's to stay in rule, my dad is going to go crazy, on the plus side, listening to him and mum bickering can often be hilarious.

{Ed001's Note - my parents would love being locked in with each other, that would be funny.}

Agree totally, KSG. We all need to be selfless and, like you say, we will get through this.

Humour, I always find, helps. Especially at the darkest times. It does me anyway. So any input from Ed25 would also be much appreciated!

Ed001, if old Ed025 runs out of bog roll, tell him to use his collection of Everton shirts and Shoot magazines. Both are a bit on the shiny side but needs must lmao 😂.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure his kids have already done that.}

That’s it, usually I comment about some parts but there’s not much to say. Hit us up with some articles mate to cheer us up. Aoe commands you!

{Ed001's Note - I am working on that. If only isolation meant I was left alone, rather than everyone I know being without work and popping round to say hello!}

Thanks Ed mate, are there going to be more new articles coming now in our Times of need lol?

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, I am trying to get some done as quickly as possible.}
