Me again Ed002.Sorry!

I understand that LFC were lucky not to be sanctioned with regards to FFP - But I've heard Arsenal have led the charge against Manchester City with regards to City being sanctioned for FFP, with other teams, in the top half of the table ( including Liverpool ) following suit.

If for instance, the season is void and the league positions go back alphabetically, does this mean City's issues won't be up held due this season?

To be honest, it doesn't bother me either way, just interested in the situation.

{Ed002's Note - There has been a great deal of misinformation about this matter and “letters” being sent in respect of a stay of punishment during the appeal process and quite frankly a couple of sides have embarrassed themselves greatly given they have no been told that there has been no request for stay during the appeal process. But the issue Manchester City have appealed against is unrelated to this season and goes back some years ago - so it makes no difference. There is no hearing date set for the appeal. It is fair to say that Manchester City are surprised and miffed that Liverpool got involved with this nonsense after having recently done Liverpool a significant favour.}

That was my thoughts too Ed002.
Why we should get involved is mind boggling.

Drogie. It’s just my hunch but this is no different to political you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours operations. I’m speculating that Liverpool would be wanting to win favours with certain clubs if we were to lobby for a premier league win without the season being concluded.

It doesn’t feel right to have signed that letter regardless.

For me I wish we didn't go done this route. Not sure on the favour ed 2 mentioned but I think we have done some dodgy stuff over the years and need to keep our noses out of other teams affairs.
