Anyone who doubts Adams traore's quality is crazy, as he is being linked too us it got a bit of a negative reaction . This guy is developing and learning how too use his attributes too very good effect. He surely would be too expensive for us but none the less if he joined would be a star .

I've rated him for months now. For ages, he was just this big fast guy with no end product.

Now, he's got so much strength, passing ability and intelligence. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back at Barcelona. He's that good.

I'd love us to sign him, but I think that's wishful thinking.

The game today was nothing until he came on. He completely changed it.

Always felt. If you worked on his end product and decision making. He would be a cracking player. He certainly totally changed the game today. Was stale and slow. Until he was introduced.

Totally agree guys early on in his career he was super raw but you could see his weapons but you just weren't convinced he could nail it . But he is a game changer he can carry the ball through the middle out wide and the end product is coming together for him . He changed the game today but all season he has been a real handful .

{Ed001's Note - MOTD fever is in full effect. One good sub appearance against dross and suddenly he is the greatest player on earth despite spending the entire season wasting possession 90% of the time! Embarrassing how people get all starry eyed after one cross.}

I get ya Ed. We heard the same from UTD fans after AWB delivered his inch perfect cross for his 1st assist of the season before lockdown. He’s the best RB in the world etc etc. I think it’s the only time he hasn’t lost possession over the half way line tbh.

5.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 21:22:19
In fairness he has given a lot of teams a battering this season, ourselves, Man City and a several others included, I’m not 100% convinced by him, as he should score more goals given that he’s a forward, but put it this way, out of Dembele and Traore, I’d rather Traore by a country mile. At least everyone who manages him says he’s a very hard working humble lad and not a big time Charlie, so maybe he is a Klopp type player?

{Ed001's Note - no he has not. He has caused problems then hoofed it into the stand or ran into defenders and lost the ball most of the time. Comparing him to a gob***** like Dembele is hardly worthwhile. I very much doubt we could afford to buy Traore anyway. But why do people think a sub for Wolves is so good? There is a good reason he spends most of a game on the bench.}

6.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 21:41:44
Traore is simply not good enuff to play at the level LFC currently play at, simple. He is inconsistent, poor off the ball, loses the ball too easily and and lacks consistent end product.

Oh, and did I also mention that he would cost huge fortune, something LFC currently can't afford or did I sleep thru the part where we did not sign Timo Werner (three times the player Traore wishes he was) for 53m due to lack of funds?

7.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 21:45:10
A player with that much raw pace and power is always going to cause problems coming off the bench with 20 minutes to spare. He wouldn't be the first player to make a half decent career just because he is quick, his footballing ability is still severely lacking, especially at the level we're at.

8.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 22:29:11
He has scored 4 PL goals this year, so he has improved considering he has only scored 1 before. His cross was good but I would be more concerned about who was marking the goal scorer.
I would take him to replace Shaqiri if he didn't mind sitting on the bench and Wolves were happy with a swap 😀?

9.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 22:47:28
Ed001, last season Traore spent a lot of time on the bench, thus season he's started 90% if Wolves matches. If as you seem to think he spends most of the time on the bench, he's done very well considering he's scored 4 goals, assisted 8 goals and made 146 crosses.

{Ed001's Note - considering he is playing the same position as Salah, his stats are crap. If you think that's good for a player who plays as a wide forward with freedom, then you are aiming low. Origi with very few minutes has 5 goals and 4 assists. And 146 crosses but just 8 assists proves my point about his lack of end product surely? You clearly do not understand stats if you want to shout about 146 crosses leading to just 8 goals!}

10.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 23:04:35
Not comparing him to Salah at all because there is no comparison to make but and yeah, I agree that when you look at the bigger picture his stats aren't the best but you are wrong when you claim he spends most of the games on the bench.

{Ed001's Note - every time I watch them he is on the bench, I have only seen him start once and he was awful. He would never get in our team other than a late sub and he would cost 100m.}

11.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 23:07:57
Also Ed, Jota/ Jimenez partnership has scored more goals than any combination of our front 3 this season. This is closely followed by Traore/ Jimenez which again is more productive than any 2 of our front 3 combo.

{Ed001's Note - and your point is that you can regurgitate pointless stats? What is this meant to mean? All it shows is that Wolves rely on their front 3 for everything, whereas we are more of a team, it means nothing about the players at all. Stats without context are just junk. It doesn't mean anyone is better, it just means the teams have different styles. They play deeper and rely more on the front 3 to hit on the break more. We dominate possession more and have to break down deep-lying defences. But what does it have to do with anything?

Oh and I was thinking about it, and I probably just remember him more from the bench as that is the only time we get this ridiculous clamour for his signing when he comes off the bench.}

12.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 23:17:54
We couldn't afford him anyway. I know this 1st hand as I know the dad of a very talented youngster who will be completing a big money move in the next few weeks. Liverpool were interested in signing him but couldn't match the rival bids due to the current financial status of the club.

{Ed001's Note - we have been saying it for ages. Almost every single shout about buying players has been told we don't have much money. But ok, I agree we can't afford him, which is why I mentioned the price.}

13.) 20 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 23:27:29
No ed this not just today , I have seen a lot of him this season and this lad is the real deal , he is near unplayable sometimes, he has also performed well in europe the lad is progressing very well , the proof has been provided an more proof is incoming.

14.) 21 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 23:59:36
Agree with Ed completely. The money to buy him would be ridiculous, for a player who mainly starts as sub due to inconsistency. Essentiallly you are comparing him to Mane and Salah should they were to leave. He's fun to watch these occasional performances as a neutral but I'd rather have the consistent excellence of our existing players thanks.

15.) 21 Jun 2020
21 Jun 2020 00:28:21
He was murder when we played wolves. Players bouncing off him. I think he's decent. But I also think injury will bite soon. Players who rely on speed alone generally fall away a lot sooner than others.

If I could take a player from wolves he would be 4th 5th choice

Jiminez
Neves
Jota
Doherty
Moutinio/ traore.

16.) 21 Jun 2020
21 Jun 2020 02:21:10
Is that true? Jiminez traore has outscored any of our up front combos? Isn't jimi on 14 and traore on 4. 18. Salah and mane have got more than 18 haven't they?

17.) 21 Jun 2020
21 Jun 2020 05:54:07
I'm with ed01 on this. Ye are all only judging him on the times he is getting praise only and clearly ye don't follow him every week and ignore the constant long periods where he offers nothing. Before lockdown he had been poor for weeks and rightly lost his spot in line-up. He's only started 2/ 3rds of their games and he goes weeks at a time being wasteful which ye clearly don't acknowledge at all.

18.) 21 Jun 2020
21 Jun 2020 08:43:10
FFS give it a rest, he's crap and who would he replace? He's still a headless chicken and if you think 4 goals is a great return you need your head checking. Just because he goes on runs and barges past people you think he's great, my Mum does the same in Asda only she comes out with a end product.

{Ed002's Note - You don't think much of the players Klopp says he likes do you.}

19.) 21 Jun 2020
20 Jun 2020 23:40:07
OK Ed, I'm not trying to start an argument with you but if you look at Mane who averaged a goal every 3 games at previous clubs but for us averages 1 every 2 games, likewise Salah who had a 45% strike rate at previous clubs but for us a 70% strike rate, do you not think Klopp could improve Traore like he has Mane and Salah. I know it won't happen but if we could sign him, would you?

{Ed001's Note - the difference is that Salah and Mane played for teams that did not play a style completely suited to them, whereas Traore does. Everything is built around getting him space to run when he is on the pitch. That is simply not going to happen at Liverpool and his issue and where he needs to improve is decision making, which is the most difficult part of the game and the real main difference between good and great players. There are thousands of players at a similar skill level, but only a very small number become great because of that.

If we could sign him I wouldn't sign him. Makes no sense for either the club or the player. He is not intelligent enough to make the press work or to make the right decisions when it matters on the pitch. I like him, he is great to watch but he is far from a great player.}

People should make their own mind up and not be like sheep, even if it is Kloop or an editor.

Remember Salah? No one gets it right everytime.

Traore is not worth it for me. Not good enough. He may look spectacular on the field when he's played, but his production is about the same as that of Origi. And by that I mean goals, assists and the things that really matter. If you're looking for how much muscles bulge out of a football shirt while running, then I can suggest some bodybuilding forum pages for you, LOL. You'll get far more bang for your buck.

And, please, let's dispense with the "sheep" and "following Klopp and Editors" talk. It's condescending and patronizing. I assume the vast majority of us are adults over here, therefore, free to formulate and express opinions as we wish. Life is full of rights and wrongs on a daily basis.

Wouldn't want us to sign him but he is probably the most exciting player in the league. Nobody else can dribble like him at such speed.
