He was a top player but Bayern have paid for a player with one year left on his contract, with 11 minutes playing time after a serious injury, and a history of attitude problems. If LFC signed him for the fee being reported (not to mention the high wages) we will be up in arms against the club for being naive and wasteful.

Great player, but an even greater gamble.

I’m not even sure the guy will be that good for Bayern, but he was devastating at times for City. As well as that he often played well against us, so I’m glad to see the back of him.
