There seems to be a bit of a mane meltdown here!

From what I’ve read Barcelona are interested, no surprise he is one of the best in the world.

Manes reps have spoken with Barca, again doesn’t mean too much just yet, if someone shows an interest in you for a job. Sometimes you ask or see what the package would be like but doesn’t immediately mean you want out.

And that Barcelona May bid for him, again doesn’t mean too much just yet as we could just reject the approach unless mane wants the move.

If he does want to leave I won’t begrudge him that, he has helped us win no.6 and no.19, if he feels Barcelona are too big to resist then good luck to him, get what we can and find a replacement who wants to be here. I see no point having someone with eyes elsewhere.

I do agree to an extent WYred mate although I would be gutted if he did go and who realistically could we bring in to replace what he does for us? I’m hanging onto the fact that Ed did say it’s doubtful he leaves this year.

WYred agree with you there. If he goes, he goes. It’s nothing new, life goes on. Keegan left, we replaced him with Dalglish. Rush left, we replaced him with Barnes/ Beardsley/ Aldridge, as long as we replace with him a younger player of equal quality then it will be a good move for all concerned. My concern is that there’s not a lot of quality out there and that we’ll get rinsed for a mediocre player.

Exactly guys, if he leaves I'd be as gutted as anyone but the team moves forward and the earth will keep spinning. I just don't understand the panic when all that has happened to now is Barcelona being interested, and reps putting out a few tentative feelers. Salah did the same and nothing has happened yet and even if it does, i trust the club to find someone who will fit.
