Lots of attackers have been linked to us and no one knows if we will sign anyone or not. Ed001, you have given your views on Raphinha and Sancho and i agree to it with Raphinha being the better fit for us with his style of play. But another name that has been constantly linked and may well sign for us is Patson Daka. What is your opinion about him regarding his overall game and how will he fit in our style of play as he seem more of a striker in true sense than salah or mane? and how are all other editors of this excellent site been doing? 😀.

He’s quick, mobile, gets into good positions in the box, his play outside the box seems good, he’s also quite strong physically, whether he’d fit into our system or not is a difficult question, but good players fit into any system. Seen a few of RBS games and he looks a good footballer, he also gave Gomez and van Dijk a proper going over (albeit in a friendly) last summer. Well worth a punt if you ask me. Also speaks perfect English (saw a BBC Africa short film on him and he seems a level headed lad too) .

he looks an excellent finisher no doubt about that. even though banging in austrian league is not much to get excited about but he looks a proper finisher and such a player can definitely adapt to the way we play. it would be interesting if he would join us as he is not going to be in afcon tournament and by the time of next afcon, one or possibly two of mane, salah and daka would probably be moved on for other forwards.

It’s pretty academic now, apparently on his way to Chelsea by all accounts. Guess that means another year of Firmino and Origi as our striking options. I’ll try and contain my excitement,
