What do people think is going on with curtis Jones and carvalho?
I understand young players are fed in at certain times but these two don't seems to be getting a look in at all. Playing lazy players with bad attitudes like keita who is going in the summer anyway, or players horribly out of form and don't looo bothered like fabinho ahead of them.
Last time carvalho started I think was wolves and he was energetic and lively and played some decent stuff, don't think he has seen the pitch since then while same players who have shown nothing are guaranteed their place week in and week out.

Only Klopp can answer that question! I don’t know the rationale behind the signing of Carvalho. He doesn’t fit in with 4-3-3. The same for Elliot and Jones. Yer we signed him!

OP, you can apply that to a Nst Phillips who is is the only consistently fit CB we have who never plays yet we have the dreadful Matip and the “too “nice” Gomez and a poor VVD playing every game and playing poorly. Only Klopp can answer that question, I’m afraid.

I agree somewhat with what you say about playing someone like keita who's leaving and useless. I don't ever want to see Keita play a game for us again. Yesterday was a prime example of Keita absolutely brainless and a liability. But I don't think carvalho is a center midfielder. Maybe he will be one day but not atm. Who should play instead of Fabinho at 6? Certainly not jones or carvalho. Hendo was terrible in the 6 yesterday and Baj can't play every game he's 18.

Certainly concerning that Curtis isn’t getting a look in at all. If he cannot get picked ahead of Hendo Milner Keita Elliott Bajcetic then how can he have a future at the club?

I’d like to see Carvalho come on as sub in the false 9 position. Perhaps he’s not training well at the moment.

Van Dijk is not the same player but he has to play, imo.
I'm not sure I can the same about Jones or Carvalho. We're really struggling for midfielders and Carvalho is not a midfielder but I don't Jones changes anything. I think Elliott falls into the same category as Carvalho. They're not strong enough for the midfield or quick enough to be in our first choice front three.

Carvalho and Elliot are still kids, they will be a different kettle of fish in 2 or 3 years.

I suspect Jones, like Kelleher, Tsimikas, Phillips, Williams (off the top of my head) is never going to be a regular. Question is does he / they settle for being squad players or move on to make better use of their talents elsewhere.

It was pitiful to see Hendo got skinned by Sunday Oliseh on right wing, nearly concede a penalty.

Olise looks fairly quick, to me. Henderson is getting on a bit but he didn't give away a penalty or allow Olise to cross the ball.
He was outpaced by a younger, quicker player and was adjudged to have to taken him out. Hardly pitiful.

Leekuanyew, Sunday Oliseh is an ex Nigerian international while Michael Olise is a French U21 international. And on him, I think that kid is the next best thing and I think he should be a player we should be looking at. I think he is VERY promising, imo.

Carvalho wasn’t a kid for Fulham where he played a full season without a fear. If you send him back there today they won’t treat him as a kid and same goes to Elliot. When they play poor, they are kids and when they have a terrific games they miraculously becomes Xavi and Iniesta of the world.
I have said above Carvalho was a pointless signing. He simply doesn’t fit in and there was no need to sign a kid who’s neither a midfielder nor a winger.
I also recall posters saying how these two are replacing Keita and Ox this season and we didn’t need a midfielder.

Why can't Bajcetic play every game because he’s 18? Has anyone told Pedri that at Barca? Or does he play every game for national team too? I don't understand this nonsense. It they’re good enough, they start.
