Whitewalker, let it go. Klopp is the one who decided who gets signed or not even when the money is available. We all know this now. It’s over. Bashing the owners for Klopp’s admitted mistakes is just boring now and pretty dishonest stuff, imo. Sad.

So the owners get a pass and its Klopps mistakes? Are people on here for real? that man is performing miracles year after year and when he leaves, and we still have these owners? I don't even want to think about it. Does the fact that they MIGHT be slightly better owners than the Glazers make them the right owners of a club the size of Lfc going forward? A club whos fans expect to be competing for the top prizes? My opinion for what its worth is that your dreaming lads. Jurgen Klopp is probably the best manager on the planet, it is he who has made us what we are not FSG.

Jude, I never said any of the things you are saying. You're the one saying all of that and making comparisons with Glazers that I never made so that's all on you, man.

With the way you and many others talk, one would think that it was Klopp who hired the owners and not the other way around. You also forgot that on another day for ex., there's a case that can be made for FSG to NOT fund the players Klopp wants after he taps them up and the fee gets increased to VVD/ Naby levels. But do o they do that, tho? Rhetorical question, btw.

They still fund his fantasies even in spite of his stupid tapping up shinanigans have jacked up the price so if you think FSG have NO credit at all (FSG could have hired other managers before Klopp was approached, btw) in what we have achieved and absorb Klopp of next to NO blame at all in the bad things that have happened that Klopp himself admitted to then, your unhealthy bias towards the owners is deafening. The best thing these owners ever done was hire Klopp. Its definitely us AND these owners that are lucky to have him and his"fantasies"NOT the other way around. if he jacked it in with us tomorrow he could have his pick of PSG, Bayern, even Madrid would turf out Carlo for him. Over the last few years how much of their own money do you think they've put into the club? miniscule amounts i'd imagine. They don't give a toss, were an investment. Jurgen does, he could be at any of the biggest clubs on the planet. Ask yourself this, why after failing to get us top 4 and apparently costing us so much money was he not sacked? or not even being in danger of being sacked?

Have been reading this post and have to say to be fair to the current owners they have spent money on upgrading Anfield. Building a new training centre for the club along with trying to keep up with the juggernaut that is Manchester City without overspending. They might be one of the better owners out there if we had Chelsea owners all along we would be on our tenth manager. City definitely have cheated and I can guarantee you will get away with it because of the money that is in football at the moment. This really goes back to the beginning of the premier league. I remember an uncle who has sadly passed away saying that Sky will be the death of football and maybe he is right.

And i don't have an "unhealthy bias"?against these owners. Just wouldn't be comung down hard on Jurgen in favour of them. And fair enough Poolofred they've improved stands/ academy, to maxmise value for when they sell. I think it was ed002 who said after the Anfield road end was completed value would be maxxed out and they would look to sell.

Jud N, great convo first off and I hear you, for sure. Of course, they were never going to sack him cos that would be a dreadful decision which would have made no sense. However Klopp also said that were he another manager not named Jurgen Klopp, he would have been sacked which shows he was well aware of how much he had screwed up and it was his successes that kept him a job at the time. Also, he picked us cos he wanted to coach us and he saw us a a good fit. And of course, Queen Ulla wanted him to coach LFC too which sealed the deal more than anything, lol.

Seriiosly tho, the owners' mistakes are well documented and so are Klopp's. This is not about picking one over the other or coming down on one over the other for me cos well, you can't. They are both joined at the hip. He's their guy who they gave an extension to after his first 8 months on the job. They committed to him aithout even hard evidence that things would work cos he had just lost 2 finals in 15/ 16.

FSG hired Klopp and ONLY he could have made all this work based on the framwork or model we have. Pretty sure they knew that as well if you read what Mike Gordon said and how excited he sounded after he interviewed Klopp for the job. All Im saying is id FSG do well, we should say it. If they do badly, we should say it. Same should apply to Klopp. IMO, that's the way it should be and for this season, the debacle is all on Klopp. Now 3 of the signings Klopp signed off on last summer are gone (Arthur) or looking to be moved on (Carvalho and Ramsay via loans) . That's on Klopp so I call it out. Peace and Love, man.

I have absolutely no inside info, but I think they get Thuram and probably push hard for Vega. Just my feeling. Likely completely wrong, but just how I feel it will turn out.

Let's just forget all about the ticket price u turn and super league and the furloughing staff during C.V. and. OK so everyone has made mistakes. I am not an FSG out guy, but neither am I an FSG in guy, if potential better custodians become available I would be open to that. Klopp stays tho, tapping up and all.

@Fatboy, what do you mean by b’better’ owners who make less decisions that you don’t agree with or owners who invest literally billions into the club under false pretences? Thinking about it, if you get the second one you’ll likely get the first one too.
