I for one could also see Salah going, if the right amount of stupid money was offered. HOWEVER. I reckon that since this is the summer of a rebuild, Klopp will most likely not want to disrupt the team too much, so I'm now of the opinion that Salah will stay for 1 more season at least.

Midfield rebuild is nearly complete, I'd imagine that Fabinho will be allowed to leave if a replacement is found, and I think efforts are being made to strengthen the centre of defence

Everyone talks about VVD and his decline, but I'm leaning more towards Matip and/ or Gomez being sold, and a new CB coming in to challenge Konate.

I would think that Klopp is looking for a right sided CB, who can cover as a right back when TAA goes into midfield, to stop the counter attacks down the right side

Whatever happens, and until Dom is finally confirmed, it's been a very good window so far for us.

I would hope that none of Thiago, Hendo or Fabinho are let go this summer. In a rebuilding phase, especially considering the adjustment period midfielders take when they first arrive, I think it would be better to keep those 3 experienced players at the club.

I wouldn’t be totally against Salah going IF there was a ready and obvious replacement. I don’t see that player out there and I don’t think Dom is it either.
Wouldn’t be against selling either Matip or Thiago personally. Great servants and great players on their day but he need to start recouping some money from these players whilst they are on the fringes of the first team and approaching the ends of their contracts. We seem to be lacking the ruthlessness of other teams to move players on to our advantage when necessary and keep loosing players for nothing.

Lets see how good Jorge is as squad trimming and organisation, as its supposed to be his forte.
There are plenty of rumours floating around about Thiago being sold, and since he would only play 25 games and is on 200k pw, maybe its best for all if he goes for one last big payday in a farmers league.

I can see multiple first teamers going, but I think Salah leaving at this juncture would be too much change in one go. There will be mass upheaval in midfield and centre back, it does not seem like the right time to be messing around with your top scorer.

All that said, I do think his form has seen a sharp decline and we should be thinking about what to do in 6-12 months time.

The same applies to van Dijk. Moving on Matip and Gomez is the priority, yet selling three centre backs in one window would be stupid. van Dijk has a much better fitness record than those two and may yet see an uptick in form. Like Salah, we must still be planning for his exit in the near future.

Fabinho and Thiago are the two that could and probably should be moving on. I’d be happy for Thiago to see out his contract, but i understand there are many reasons to cut things short now. Fabinho has looked dusted for a long time and I can’t foresee any resurgence strong enough to justify him sticking around. I have no idea if either are capable of playing in the new system the manager is trying to implement. We need to make room somewhere.

For those reasons, I can see Phillips, Tsimikas, Matip, Gomez, and at least one of Fabinho or Thiago leaving. I think that’s a good way to trim down the squad and recoup some money. I can also see Salah and van Dijk moving on in the near future.

Salah scores 30 goals a season, has done so for about the last five seasons. He has a brilliant work ethic and has a top notch injury record. Why is there thought of letting him go?

West Derby Wanderer3, I have no idea. Seems certain people are getting too far ahead of themselves due to the money they think we can get for him should we sell him this summer. That ain't happening, IMO.
