You captured it perfectly there sgynwa. Sporting integrity is completely at risk here. They will play the long game here and let it blow over. If they do that with this one, I personally will believe that the PGMOL is corrupt right to its core. The mistake is simply too obvious. They must be sacked.

Dan Cooke is a particularly useless referee also.

Why do people keep going round and round about what happened? It’s corruption it’s so obvious it’s hard to believe that people can’t recognise it., I’ve watched the game x2 and it’s the most one sidedl game I’ve seen with x12 men for years and I’ve seen a few … This just stinks that these frauds controlling our games are getting away with this.? Check their bank accounts and partners accounts because something will be found I’m sure … lots of wrong doing goes on around different leagues which as come to fruition . but so many seem sceptical that it can’t occur in the most watched league and money spinning franchise around? Baffles me completely.

Thanks for writing the article and providing the transcript in full sgynwa. The more I read it, the more I get the feeling that the referee, VAR, and AVAR have already decided that it will be an offside even before reviewing the footage.

I'm going into conspiracy theory territory here but I believe that they made a mistake by carelessly using an image/ angle that showed that Diaz was clearly onside when they didn't intend to. When the operator pointed this out, they panicked at being called out but still ultimately decided not to do anything about it since they know that the PGMOL would not "punish" them too harshly.

They clearly were favouring Spurs over us and were actively trying to affect the result in their favour throughout the entire game. And that, to me, is what makes them corrupt.

Dracred, it did come across that way
That they already decided it’s offside
And they thought they had the offside image
And when they realise that they didn’t, it’s almost like they are cursing cause they got found out and realised they mistook the image was in their favour but now realise it isn’t

Trouble is, Diaz was so far onside that there was never ever going to be an image that can suggest he’s off

It’s brings me back to Firmino armpit offside goal, whereby they kept redrawing the lines until they got him offside, I did love to listen to that audio too!
