I think we should take the small positives out of today's game, first one being its an extra point gained compared to last season, Brighton away was a wake up call and if I remember Klopp said his worst game as LFC head coach so as small as it might seem niw its a positive. ED001 if i may ask
Endo wasn't selected today, now I get why maybe he hasn't been prvious games as I think Jones has been undroppable and I think Maca and szlobo need games together as they seem to be the go to midfield, so was curios to see who Klopp went with today, was thinking Brighton away he may go with a more let's say solid thinking player in Endo but started Eliott, hindsight a funny thing as seemed a mistake to start Elliott. I know Klopp likes to giv players time to Adjust (robbo and fab being perfect example of that) do you think that the case with Endo or does Klopp really not want to use let's say a natural 6 and persist with Maca in there? Do you think this hybrid rb role has something to do with it or do you. think we would continue with this if he was keeping his fullbacks as fullback? Love tp hear your thoughts as always. ✌️.

kjmainstreet, I just watched the game and really to me, it was a game of individual mistakes on our side. Macca is too casual in his own half and gets caught out. Second goal is where Robbo non-chalantly goes to defend the ball and the whole defence freezes esp since Dunk is left alone unmarked. Those are individual/ collective mistakes.

Same happened with Brighto for both of their goals as well. We just weren't switched on in critical situations in that final quarter of an hour and we got done. Same way we punished their mistakes twice in 2 mins. What I will say is that defensively, we give up too many cheap goals mainly due to individual brain farts. That needs to change. Apart from these, a lot of positives ang several good performances today, IMO.

Elliott would struggle in a championship team time to move him out.

Both sides were sloppy in possession, the press and a lack of concentration from both sets of players led to a pretty open game and while I think a draw the right result, I felt more than a little lucky as a Liverpool fan by the end, particularly after Joao pedro miss from 6 yards.
I don't think Mac works great as a DM, he has quality no doubt but feel those qualities are better served further up the pitch.
We’ll see how they approach the next game with regard that but I hope Endo can get some game time and help out in there before too long.
Shame we have two weeks of Internationals now as I won't be watching, still, Rugby World Cup gives us something to enjoy at least.

A good quality scrap, and we could have again pinched the 3 points if Gravenberch's punt had been a few inches lower.
Midfield is still learning to gel, could do with some stability at DM.
Seeing definite weekly signs of improvement, and Brighton are no mugs, especially at home.
Just hope that nobody gets injured during the break.

That's how I saw it, Flash. It's football. The most important thing is that we didn't lose cos that would have been worse. We are one point off City after the first quarter of the season with the most punishing schedule of games among the top 7 so lots to be happy about even tho, a lot of work still needs to be done.

Endo may not be 'ready' but her certainly can't be worse than what Alexis is serving up right now.
