Let's get these trophys won for Klopp, gutted to see he's leaving but can't blame the man. He's a legend for us and always will be. I must admit though, I never saw it coming, got a notification earlier about it and thought it was clickbait. What a man, what a manager. I wish him the absolute best for his future no matter what he does.

One thing what concerns me about this is, who can replace him? I'm sure this will be discussed at length for months now but I just don't think anybody can come in and do what he does.

Let's just enjoy this year whilst we have him, we will miss him.

Hear, hear Salah. I don't think anybody can come in and do what he does but someone could come in and do things their way ( different), and still be successful. Look at it when Paisley followed Shanks, and became the most successful manager of all time for our club.

Interesting times ahead.

When you already have the best, it can only be a step down?.

With you Salah. Let's enjoy this last season with Klopp. It's one full of promise and hope with everything to play for. Fairytale endings rarely happen but this is no ordinary man. I really hope we win the league this season now.

On replacing him, it will be a massive job. The backroom staff has all left. We can't make the same mistakes United made when Ferguson left. Klopp has increased his power over the years so essentially we are losing more than a coach/ manager here. We need a new DOF in my opinion. A world class one. I don't have faith in schmadtke.

Then the manager. Others have mentioned Xabi. I haven't watched a lot of Leverkusen to comment if I think it's the right choice but they have certainly improved results massively under him.

He was my favourite Liverpool player and that's a massive point in his favour. He would get instant fan support and love.

It's a really big job getting this all right. Let's see what happens.

100% Salah - would love to win the lot tbh and let him go out on a real high.

Replacing him won't be easy, yeah we could get lucky like Paisley replacing Shanks worked out fantastically but then we had when Souness replaced King Kenny and look what happened there - just hope we really get this right, the club is in a very good place on the pitch and also off it - FSG have had detractors and critics but we were one of few enough clubs to have posted a profit when the last figures were released so spending within our means, however frustrating that can be for fans at times lol

Just hope we get this right and sorted for Klopp leaving at the end of the season, do not want to see this process drag on over the summer - interesting end to the season this will be though lads.

I hope another period of relative stability follows because I'd hate to find us in a situation where we change managers every other year.

Good Luck to Jurgen wherever the future takes him. He will leave the club with so many wonderful memories. Hope the team can push on this season so he leaves on a high. Would be great to celebrate a league win properly unlike the previous title due to C.V..

Spot on, Salah. For me personally, Im over the news of Klopp leaving. No time nor energy to dwell on such things cos I have lived thru way worse sudden news early in the morning.

Now, it is time to stop worrying about the what we can not control. It is time to SUPPORT the boys. It is time for us as fans to put agendas and opinions to the side and back the players and Klopp.

It is time to support the team with ALL we have in spirit or in person (for those who will be at gams at Anfield or part of the away support) . Sing and cheer our boys and our manager to victory no matter how the games are going.

It is time to go and WIN for Klopp, whatever trophies we can win. Personally, I have no preferences right now cos anything can happen BUT do I want a PL title? Absolutely. Let's do this. Let's go send our legendary manager on a HIGH. YNWA!

I'm with you on this one Oli. I see too many people already in distress about our future, but now is not the time to worry. When fat Sam or Ole takes the wheel, then let's all p. our pants in shock and depression.

Nobody is going to come in and do exactly what Klopp has done. Klopp brought hugs to everyone, he took Liverpool from first base to second base. If someone wants to mimic what Klopp did, and take us further to third base, they could take it to second base and become the harassing one. Not sure anybody wants that.

It's indeed sad news, but it is out of our control. Whoever comes in will do their thing, and it will be a different kind of ride. There might even be space to get excited for that. So let's all be rational, keep on supporting, not worry too much, and let's watch Klopp win a trophy or two.

I think what people are forgetting is when klopp came in we were 8/ 9th in the league and the team was p**s poor it really was awful he’s built the team up the owners have built the infrastructure up stadium and training facilities to be 1st class . With a great group of young hungry talented players almost 2 players for every position he’s passing the baton on when the club is on the up not the decline yes klopp will be missed but this is a great opportunity for someone to come in and be successful really successful dare I say .

What a kick in the guts. Totally totally unexpected.

Told my son when I collected him from school.
He didn't believe me at first but after pondering for a while he said "ah, we will be fine".
The simple mindset of a 10 years old, hopefully is what will help be get through this.
Tearing up here and I a grown man for Christ sake.
