Is it the week of underdogs? City through a. madrid looking to go through is it the reds turn tommorow?

Believable5 Unbelievable5

13 Apr 2016 21:42:56
And Barcelona dumped out by Athletico!

13 Apr 2016 22:16:55
Well I never thought in all my days Barcelona and psg would go out maybe one not both here to hoping the luck carry on tommorow and it's a good omen they where both at home when they went through! ! I think I might struggle to sleep tonight.

14 Apr 2016 02:02:44
Seriously Barcelona msn with iniesta is getting predictable and boring. Athletico shows the triumph of teamplay vs individual brilliance. Time to break up msn. And just maybe. barca willing to sell ter stegen to Liverpool. Hope the pressure of not winning at Barcelona cause surez to reconsider coming back to Liverpool.

14 Apr 2016 03:29:09
Time to break up msn lol? yeah break up a strike force setting new records because they lost a CL tie to a very good atletico team? they are still on course for a domestic double which they are likely to do) and did the treble last year. for what Ter Stegen would cost is he really that good?

{Ed001's Note - more to the point, the wages of MSN alone put Barca on their wage limit, so yes, it is time to break it up.}

14 Apr 2016 06:49:29
Performance wise, the MSN is as god as it gets now. Some strange points and thought process, and not the for the first time either, Leekuanyew.

14 Apr 2016 06:55:08
S can stay put for me.

14 Apr 2016 07:00:51
I thought MSN was already obsolete, I've not used it since I was a kid.

{Ed001's Note - did they even have computers back then???}

14 Apr 2016 08:25:53
Ns wage was released as £77k p/ w hardly ball breaking. Maybe they should charge more for tickets.

Sell Messi to PSG for £100m.

{Ed001's Note - sorry but you need to read it through again. With bonuses for trophies etc, it can be many millions more. Plus you missed the bit where it clearly stated that he is due a new contract this summer, and he is asking for a massive pay rise of a lot more than double. Oh and it is nothing to do with ticket prices.}

14 Apr 2016 09:15:39
Ed you said it is time to break up msn. Realistically which of the 3 would you say is more likely to be the one to leave.

{Ed001's Note - Suarez, purely due to the chances of someone being able to afford the deal and his lack of involvement in tax evasion cases.}

14 Apr 2016 10:30:50
Wages, tax evasion, and crazy kung-fu kicks aside, don't ya'll think we're over reacting a bit here? The standard for these guys is win every game and every trophy and look god whilst doing it. So they're out of a big competition. So maybe they win 8 of their last 10 competitions or whatever. athletico was the wrst team they could draw. Like drawing rafa's liverpool from the mid 00's. Dogged, relentless and disciplined. We all know that in football this kind of style for even a mediocre team can get results against great teams. (I'm not saying athletico are mediocre! ) . Leicester are showing us every week the same! Anyways, 8 hope they stay together and keep breaking new ground together. 120 or even 150 goals in a season would be amazing!

14 Apr 2016 15:25:44
I get that Ed . Yes it might be time to break it up but not for idiotic reasons as stated by previous poster. As in predictable and boring ( which bar the last 3 games won them the previous 38) more rebuilding elsewhere or just not being able to afford to keep that squad.

{Ed001's Note - I agree with you there mate. The defence is awful, the moment anyone gets at them, Barca are in trouble. Busquets is particularly awful under pressure, he can't run! Decent passer and world class cheat, but the most overrated player in football.}

14 Apr 2016 15:49:36
Agree with that too Ed they suffer a little in being too rigid with their personnel and style, ( but it worked for 38 games) I like buaquets but he's not the answer for every game. I really think they aren't mixing it up enough and providing enough competition to change it up. Bizarre as it may seem but most could name RM squad to about 20 players, you can't say same for Barcelona so if there not buying famous names you'd expect them to be making famous names.

{Ed001's Note - it is not that, it is that they have no defence to speak of. Mash is a truly dreadful centre back and Piquet is an average one. Add that to two fullback with little defensive capability and a 'defensive' midfielder in Busquets with no idea how to defend, then you are relying on the attack to be on fire week in, week out.}

13 Apr 2016 20:17:41
Edd001/ 2 sorry to bother you on such a lovely evening. Random question i'd love some help though. A group of friends of mine go to saints last game of the season in memory of those who can't be with us anymore, tuxeado etc. I have been ohnerd with an invitation over the last few years. Point is we were going to the city game on the 1st (sunday) . even if city play on the wednesday after will the game get moved to the saturday regardles as me and many others won't be able to make saturday plus all ticketa are paid for!? Apologise for grammer, spelling wrong page etc. Thank you in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - I am sorry I have no idea what you are talking about - Liverpool have already played Southampton twice.}

13 Apr 2016 21:19:25
3 times in fact.

13 Apr 2016 20:56:19
Sorry i live in southampton. the game i was talking about was saints vs man city on may 1st!

{Ed002's Note - I really can't help. I have no idea what you are asking, nor why you are asking on the Liverpool page Billy.}

13 Apr 2016 21:40:08
Im terribly sorry it was just due to champions league. realise i look like a mad man. Anyway sorry to bother take care!

{Ed002's Note - No problem Billy.}

14 Apr 2016 08:11:46
If I understood your question Billy, the final game of the season is always Saturday 3pm for all clubs no matter what - pending extraordinary circumstances on the day, it won't get moved.

13 Apr 2016 19:45:14
Is there truth we are trying to get Bayern's fitness coach?
thanks.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

13 Apr 2016 20:02:54
We got him . He comes in the summer.

13 Apr 2016 20:44:23
Bringing Ribery in his suitcase hopefully.

14 Apr 2016 10:32:01
If ribery picks up another injury he could probably fold him up to fit in the suitcase!

13 Apr 2016 18:41:35
Lol. There's an article on eurosports saying Carroll should go to euros ahead of studge. 😂😂.

Believable2 Unbelievable14

13 Apr 2016 19:03:05
Fine by me!

13 Apr 2016 22:12:52
Let him go I say and then we can keep studge fit.

14 Apr 2016 08:13:05
On more practical grounds, there is a decent argument that suggests that with Vardy definitely travelling, what does Sturridge offer that Vardy doesn't and would it be better to have another type of player instead?

13 Apr 2016 17:57:37
Rumours that Andy Hughes, Liverpool's Chief Financial Officer is now the New director of the clubs.
Eds?

{Ed002's Note - Sorry, I really don't know.}

13 Apr 2016 17:46:32
Are BVB not as crazy good as the whole of football seem to think or did we just make them look ordinairy? Thoughts ladies and gents please.

Believable5 Unbelievable9

13 Apr 2016 18:37:32
I think the clever thing to do is base your conclusion of them on the whole 48 games they've played this season and not the one (soon to be two) that they've played against us.

13 Apr 2016 18:43:11
They're in the Europa league just like us they aren't Barcelona or Bayern or real. They're in the level below and were in the level below that luckily we raise our game against the big boys and with football being football occasionally we can draw with and even beat them.

13 Apr 2016 18:54:00
Tuchel is now saying that his team were inhibited in the first leg, by all the fanfare surrounding Klopps return.
I say excuses and mind games. They were 'inhibited' by the way Liverpool played against them. period!

13 Apr 2016 19:44:04
To be fair they're in the Europa league because of their previous season. Also that game could have swung either way and for all the we could have won 4-1 talks they could say the same.

13 Apr 2016 20:05:36
They're a really good side we have to be on are A game or it could be a cricket game.

13 Apr 2016 21:59:53
They are a great side, in the top 6/ 7 in europe and are in electric form since the atart of the year. Its an anomaly they are in the europa league.

However every good team has its bad days and due to their lack of players like messi and ronaldo they are susceptible to ballsing up. We made them look bad and as good as they are are not invincible, however you may be left eating your words if they beat us tomorrow.

13 Apr 2016 22:51:35
How is it an anomaly that BVB are in the Europa Cup? They are playing on Thursday nights because Klopp and his players didn't get champions league last season. Is it an anomaly that Leicester are top of the table? Ridiculous statement Woolpack.

14 Apr 2016 02:24:41
Not really Brenda, anomaly might be a strong word but they were in CL the previous 4 Seasons and will be in it again next season. making this a one in 6 season for them. It's wrong to think of them as a regular EL side, it was only a major drop in form that put them there and looking at recent results they are comfortably back to heir best.

Having said that, I'm comfortable with the squad and coach we have we should be there too and we've shown we can compete with anyone on their day.

14 Apr 2016 03:36:16
Brenda its an anomaly because they had a shocking start which they couldn't recover from to get them into the CL - last season. in terms of this season they are a far better team than competing in the Europa suggests. the fact they've been doing well in the CL for several seasons shows the one when they didn't make it is an anomaly. as it would be if arsenal didn't make it for one season.

14 Apr 2016 10:35:23
We made them look bad? They are over-rated? C'mon! We played really well to limit them to a couple chances. But they got behind us easily and turned our midfield easily. going to be a great 2nd leg hopefully quite open! I back us to score on them again, just hope our defenders turn up too!

13 Apr 2016 17:00:18
Hey ED01, this is with regards to the post where we had discussed about doing statistical analysis. Had some ideas which I wanted to run by you.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed001's Note - sent you an email mate.}

13 Apr 2016 17:42:29
Actually I just got a message saying it was returned as it didn't go through. Can you message me through the contact form please? I must have made an error somewhere or your email addy did not come through intact. The contact form is at the bottom of the page.

14 Apr 2016 06:07:41
Hi Pankaj,
I'm from the decision science space and this post has spurred my interest.
Is it polite to ask what analysis you are looking at?

-Krishna.

14 Apr 2016 08:49:55
The whole thing about goal stats and assists is not applicable to football IMO.
For example a player can dribble past 5 players and play a defence splitting pass to another. If the man on the end of the pass miscontrols it and it falls to a team mate who taps it in then the original player gets no recognition, the man who messed up gets an assist and another player has a tap in goal.

Maybe I'm just a Luddite but you can't break football down into numbers on a page.

14 Apr 2016 12:56:31
Ron - I see where you're coming from, but there is an element of probability. Your situation might and does happen, but over the course of a season what are the chances of a player regularly doing that and getting nothing for it? And even then their chances created and successful take-on stats would be through the roof. It gives some way to narrow down the massive field - occasionally you might miss a gem but with the amount of players in the world to look at, you're more likely to miss the gems and the obvious ones without stat analysis.

14 Apr 2016 16:12:23
Hi Ron,
Trying to clear something. There is a basic idea in statistics that suggests that if something is done repeatedly over and over, the outcome becomes clearer.
For instance, if you consider 'all' the Liverpool games till now and not just a few games, the assists and goals of the type you stated above becomes negligible and it gives you a clearer read of the general scenarios. This is, I guess, an example for the central limit theorem of probability distributions.

{Ed001's Note - there are not enough goals in football to clear out anomalies.}

14 Apr 2016 16:14:00
I am actually looking at hjikle's comments just now. That is exactly what I was trying to say as well.

14 Apr 2016 18:06:29
Hi Ed001,
I think there should be some work around. That said, this is a really growing area for football and gaining a lot of interest in recent times.

{Ed001's Note - yes there is, but it is still subject to anomalies due to the low amount of goals and chances created during a match. Stats can only give you guidance or complete an assessment, but they are useless on a stand alone basis at the highest level.}

13 Apr 2016 14:33:14
Coutinho nominated for young player of the year.

Young Player of the Year nominees: Alli, Barkley, Butland, Coutinho, Kane and Lukaku

Utd fans no doubt upset about absence of Martial.

Well done Couts!

Believable19 Unbelievable4

13 Apr 2016 14:57:23
Ali as just turned 20, first year in prem and full national call up.

13 Apr 2016 15:08:40
Personally, I would agree that Alli or Kane are probably favourites.

However, a big round of applause for PipCo for the nomination!

13 Apr 2016 15:20:23
I suspect Kane or Alli will win but I'd rather have Coutinho in my team.

13 Apr 2016 15:30:50
Got to be Kane I reckon.

13 Apr 2016 16:00:39
Pretty sure Ali wouldn't make the Brazil squad.

{Ed001's Note - obviously, as he doesn't qualify to play for Brazil....}

13 Apr 2016 16:58:43
deli alli is nailed on to win that award, no question, it is nice that the little magician has been nominated, don't know why the utd fans are getting upset, they should be used to disappointment by now, in fact I am creating my own award, most deluded manager in the premier league, its currently a tie between lvg and Roberto Martinez.

13 Apr 2016 17:02:06
Dele Alli is the stand out - first season in prem, still young (unlike Coutinho who is almost 24! Not that young for a football player) and has performed above and beyond expectations. He'd be a deserving winner.

13 Apr 2016 17:30:30
It's not usually the youngest player that wins usually it's the big names for example sterling didn't win it hazard did. Personally I'd expect coutinho to win it as he's the best footballer on the list.

13 Apr 2016 17:38:17
Alli, hands down. Kane is already a known quantity.

13 Apr 2016 18:46:27
Alli all day long for me.

13 Apr 2016 19:58:09
Alli, first season in the prem, and a pretty outstanding one, and is a few years younger than couts and Kane. Although I think Kane's the best player named on the list, got everything a striker needs.

14 Apr 2016 08:16:53
Think this award is fairly unfair, you shouldn't be able to be in the main and young player catagory and you shouldn't be able to win twice in a row - it's an award that should be dedicated to the best of the players breaking through as much as some arbitrary age barrier. Kane shouldn't be allowed in it.

13 Apr 2016 13:46:49
BVB airliner passed over the green fields of Hale Village, approximately 1240 hours, at about 1000 feet, on the way to JLA.

Couldn't see much, but I thought Hummells looked pale.

Believable19 Unbelievable4

13 Apr 2016 13:51:43
Made me chuckle that.

13 Apr 2016 15:09:36
Ritters, whilst pale, did he also look excited to be playing at the mecca of football, and possibly contemplating a long term career there? Or was it going a bit too fast?

13 Apr 2016 15:18:52
Zeddicus, Hummells is 28 this year and he looked every minute of that, so I doubt he is contemplating a long term career anywhere, apart from Dortmund of course!

13 Apr 2016 13:11:58
Just curious, but do the Eds reckon that Zlatan could cut it in the BPL?
Personally, I think he'd be great but I don't really see enough of him to judge - and I know the standard in Ligue Un is supposed to be dire.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed001's Note - no idea.}

13 Apr 2016 13:27:39
I'm I missing something when it comes to last night, it seems that blanc the psg players and the whole of the French media see it as some kind of disgrace that they lost to Man City. I know they are not having the best season in England and psg are dominating the most one sided league in the world but they are on pretty similar level to me.

13 Apr 2016 13:30:35
3 years ago yeah. He's getting on now though and benefitting from being a class above just about every other player in the French league. I think he's got too acclimatised to that level of Football now and is too old to adopt to a faster paced, higher level.

Still a world class player on his day, and he'd definitely score goals anywhere. I don't think he'd score 20+ in England though. Probably 10-15.

There's no way he'd maintain his current level in England though. Not for me at least. Guess we'd never know for sure unless he tried.

13 Apr 2016 13:50:29
If you wanna play with 10 men for long periods during games then Zlatan is your guy as he does absolutely nothing for the team defensively at PSG. He has Matuidi, Verrati, and Motta as his water carriers.

13 Apr 2016 14:49:40
Hed do alright imho but i could see red cards for him as the defenders in the prem would rough him up and i could see it provoking a reaction.

13 Apr 2016 16:54:23
Put it this way, I hope the mancs chuck a shed load of money at him to join the lvg revolution.

13 Apr 2016 17:03:18
His wages would make it a non starter for most teams as well I should imagine, I have to say well done to man city for getting through, oh the irony if pellegrini wins the champions league. The return of de bruyne has been timely for them.

13 Apr 2016 17:45:13
According to lucas moura there are no teams at psg level in england hence the disgust. Seemed a litle conceited but hay hum they will not be so complacent next time i guess.

13 Apr 2016 18:08:08
Push ain't nothing special, they are never challenged until champ league then they go out, it's the same every year you would think they are use to it by now.

And city are 4thnplace team in England, all 3 teams above city could beat psg in my opinion.

And us. OBVIOUSLY 😉.

13 Apr 2016 11:43:23
Eds, if I had a spare £20-30,000,000 kickin about would it be possible for a fan to buy Liverpool a player? Has this ever been done at any club ever?

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - No it is not possible as he could not be registered. The closest to it was the TWA MD-83 "Wings of Pride" which the employees leased for the company.

If you are keen on getting yourself a fit young man there are specialist bars where you can go and you can get your pick. And that will be a much cheaper approach.}

13 Apr 2016 11:59:27
I'd buy Danny Ward in order to keep my bench warm.

Or Benteke if i wanted to ensure that my cow's @rse was never hit by a banjo.

Or Mario if i wanted to start up an indoor fireworks business.

13 Apr 2016 12:36:04
Hahahahahahahaha Ed002.

13 Apr 2016 12:38:52
Or Joe Allen to play pass the parcel with

Or Skrtel to bang in nails (with his head)

Or Emre Can as a hair model

Or Milner if I wanted to clear a party from my house.

13 Apr 2016 13:00:49
Could you inest the money with the insteution to use it to buy said player.

Like they could take 30 mil off me but I said I want to buy payet.

{Ed002's Note - Of course not.}

13 Apr 2016 13:50:07
Ed could I buy the lads a pack of Maltesers each or do I need to invest £20?

13 Apr 2016 14:15:10
What about if i wanted to buy John Henry a nice dinner but i said it had to be a steak dinner?

13 Apr 2016 14:19:28
serious reply to this though, what about Colin Kazim-Richards?

13 Apr 2016 15:39:21
I'd buy the missus whatever she wanted first, as if I spent any of that on a football player, I would lose the rest of it in the divorce.

13 Apr 2016 19:10:12
I've often wondered about this! I guess now Ed2 has cleared that up, I'll have a spare £30ish-million knocking about when I get round to winning the euromillions!

13 Apr 2016 06:04:58
Not necessarily Liverpool related but I've been curious about this for a while and don't really know where else to ask. It has been discussed at length the various, associated costs of a transfer and these are, to the uninformed, lengthy and far greater than an initial transfer fee. I was curious as to how it works for loans? Are these in some way similar? In what circumstance might a loan be more economically appealing than an outright transfer? Is there such a case or is a loan simply a way for poorer clubs to still bring in new personnel (albeit temporarily)? In my head I imagine a transfer to be equivalent to a mortgage and a loan equivalent to a rental this may be overly simplistic and completely wrong. Any sort of information (particularly from the Ed's) would be greatly appreciated.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - Loans are different in that there is no simple formula - they vary on a case-by-case basis.}

13 Apr 2016 08:28:03
Anyone fancy Milner for LB instead of Moreno tomorrow night?

Believable3 Unbelievable18

13 Apr 2016 09:41:33
Me. For sure.

13 Apr 2016 09:58:12
I'd rather not see him turnover ball's anywhere near out defense.

13 Apr 2016 10:56:18
No. Without Hendo we need him in the midfield.

13 Apr 2016 13:35:11
Agree with hjikle. I'd have him in midfield with Stewart, Coutinho and Can. Then I'd put 2 of Firmino, Origi and Sturridge up front. Probably Firmino and Origi because they'll press more than Sturridge. Milner has to start in midfield for me though. We will miss Hendo's energy. Coutinho on the left, Milner on the right, Stewart and Can in the middle. Then the two up top. Wrong game to drop Moreno. I'd do that against Bournemouth instead but even then I'd put Smith on in his place. Rodgers is gone. We play Full backs at full back now unless we've no other choice!

13 Apr 2016 17:48:53
Is stewart registered to play in the comp?

14 Apr 2016 03:26:40
Playing Stewart would be simply ridiculous, MK.

14 Apr 2016 12:57:56
Yes Stewart is registered and I very much hope he plays.

13 Apr 2016 08:23:37
Of all the many keepers we are linked to signing this coming window, who looks like the best option overall? Go by the price the press have given, age, experience or potential.

For me I'm liking either Timo Horn or Sergio Rico.

I do not see Adnan or Sirigu as better then how Migs has played the last few games.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

13 Apr 2016 10:31:47
Have you ever watched Sirigu? For me he's in the top 10 keepers in the world. We are talking about a multiple title winning, Champions leage level keeper.

Horn and Rico aren't even on the same level.

Sirigu only got dropped because PSG signed Trapp who's probably in the top 3 keepers in the world.

13 Apr 2016 10:57:52
Trapp is not top 3 in the world, let's not exaggerate here. But Sirgu is a very strong keeper and if it wasn't for Buffon's stunning longevity would very likely have been Italy's no.1 for a number of years now.

{Ed002's Note - Just to be clear, there is interest in Sirigu but to date Liverpool has not declared an interest. Several sides have been looking at Sirigu. Bordeaux, Everton, Torino, Milan, Monaco and Roma have all declared an interest at one level or another in the past 6 months in addition to those clubs that have made direct approaches to PSG or the agent of the player. Approaches to his agent from Lazio and Trabzonspor were rejected and it was made clear in January that he is not interested in a relegation fight with Aston Villa or Newcastle.}

13 Apr 2016 12:46:21
I really hope he doesn't go to Everton!

{Ed002's Note - He is not the only goalkeeper Everton are looking at.}

13 Apr 2016 13:16:31
My top 3 is Neuer, Cech and Trapp. Top 10 would probably add Courtois, Buffon, Sirigu, Begovic, Mandanda, De Gea, Leno and Lloris. Although I expect I've over looked someone.

No particular order. I just rank them as the top 10 in the world. PSG and Chelsea just happen to have 4 of them between them!

All this Horn, Karius, Zieler stuff is simply because they're German. Great keepers. I'd take any of them at LFC. But you don't get a free pass to being a world class keeper just because of where you grew up.

It's all just opinions though mate. Don't accuse me of exaggeration just because I rate a player differently to you.

13 Apr 2016 13:36:08
Or top 11 for those who can count ;)

13 Apr 2016 13:51:48
Timo Horn of Cologne.

13 Apr 2016 14:17:50
Blimy MK, you have Begovic in your top 10 as well? We have some fairly significant differences in our ratings!

My top 9 would be Neuer, De Gea, Buffon, Lloris, Courtois, Leno, Check, Buffon, Cech. Not sure who I'd add to that for 10, so many options and maybe Trapp but Handanovic, Lopes, Cillessen and a few more would all be unlucky to miss out.

13 Apr 2016 15:49:37
Plus you have two Buffon's.

13 Apr 2016 16:41:30
and check + cech . !

13 Apr 2016 18:59:58
Trapp is nowhere near the top 3 mate, it's got to be Neuer, Buffon and De Gea, with Lloris, Cech and Courtois unlucky to miss out.

14 Apr 2016 08:19:13
So i do! Cheers guys

and Molby - you know what autocorrect is. Come on lad.

13 Apr 2016 05:52:15
If we beat dortmund, I think it should be lfc vs sevilla semi final ( given Bilbao don't cause an upset) . I really won't like facing sevilla in the final. That club has won this competition too many times in recent years. It gives us two opportunities against them.
Would gladly take Villarreal or shakhtar in final.

You know it also gives the best club left (if we beat DOrtmund) two shots against us as well right? Personally I'd like to avoid facing Seville in Spain.

13 Apr 2016 10:16:23
Let's beat Dortmund first. If we beat them I don't care who we get.

13 Apr 2016 10:33:32
True let's beat dortmund first. They could still destroy us at home.

13 Apr 2016 11:43:45
Every team in the competition is scared of facing us.

We can thrash them all on our day.

13 Apr 2016 11:57:29
Sorry Ron, but I don't think there is any team in any comp that is scared to face us. Why would they be scared? We are just as likely to turn in a poor performance as a good one as this season has shown time and time again. we are as likely to get spanked 4 - 0 on Thursday as we are of winning.

13 Apr 2016 12:43:47
I think we've come on in leaps and bounds consistency wise since about Feb (if I'm being kind, that's when I feel Klopp has settled in, discovered and then started playing a regular first team. )

We might yet lose as we're not a finely tuned machine like Dortmund, but I think teams are at least worried now instead of popping the champagne.

13 Apr 2016 13:25:48
It doesn't matter what order we beat them in ;) we'll still lift the trophy!

13 Apr 2016 14:13:41
Ron, No soul on earth is scared of us anymore so you need to understand that. Bournmouth come sun, won`t be scared of us so why do you think current or past EL champs like Sevilla and Chakhtahr, will be? I know you`re positive but don`t push it. let remain humble YET ambitious because it DEFO will not be a cakewalk tomorrow vs a team that is still much better than ours.

13 Apr 2016 15:31:32
Where did I say tomorrow will be a cakewalk?

Every other team looks at us and sees Klopp, Coutinho, Firmino and Sturridge.
This season is shaking up to be just like Rafa's first and we all know how that ended.

{Ed002's Note - Where is Richard Perle when you need to know about cakewalking?}

13 Apr 2016 17:41:38
Ron, drawing unnecessary parallels (Rafa`s first season) are for emotional people, not for those of us who live in reality and know that every game, season or cup run is different, riddled with it`s own circumstances.

13 Apr 2016 17:46:45
Klopp wants believers not doubters.

14 Apr 2016 06:22:03
I believe Ron, I believe more than anyone, Klopp can take us back to where we want to be. But, But there is no real fear factor for any team playing us, I don't see many if any sides in the EPL that are scared of us, so I can't see any teams left in the EL fearing us. We can look like champions and play unbelievable football, but we can also go to pieces defensively way too easily still. Next season though Ron, that's a different story, I honestly believe we could have another blinder like 13/ 14, with the difference being that we will continue to improve in 18/ 19 unlike 14/ 15 where we went backwards.

In this moment I Believe.

Shakthar is a very god team with consistent record both in the league and EL.

13 Apr 2016 04:48:34
Edd any opinion on this rumour appointment of Bayern Munich fitness guy Andreas Kornmayer as our head of fitness? Will he be a good signing?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - I know nothing about him sorry.}

13 Apr 2016 08:18:06
If we play similar to Bayern then I guess his knowledge for related injuries will be a plus. I guess that's why our guy went?
I'm not sure how a fitness bloke can be graded? Every player is different and our league is more faster then the German league, he has no experience of dealing with this or the amount of games in winter.

13 Apr 2016 13:02:48
If he was there when they gave Barcelona a bashing and pressed like mofos then yes. Other than that I dint see them as any special at fitness. Maybe from Dortmund or the one who left the season it all went wrong for Dortmund, he's at Bayern lever I think or one of the red bull francises.

13 Apr 2016 14:14:41
Well if the way they outlasted Juve last month is anything to go by, then he`s the right guy for us.

13 Apr 2016 16:51:02
Now we just need Eva Carneiro and we will be fine :)
