Some one asked if you were Klopp and had 100 mill to spend who would you buy, A lot of good players mentioned but my 1st thought was Xavi Valero and oliver Bartlett then pay off the contracts of balo and Enrique.

14 Mar 2016 00:09:40
Thank god your not are manger lol ( only joking)

14 Mar 2016 03:25:36
Well you'd probably still have near enough 100million left over. I won't pretend to know much about Bartlett but a goalkeeping coach of high quality is something we've like for a while. to be specific since Velero left.

{Ed001's Note - Pako Ayesteran would be one of the first on the list of coaches to return, if we are bringing in coaches. It is telling that as soon as he returned to Valencia they started getting results. Amazing the difference letting an actual coach do the coaching, instead of a moron of the telly....}

14 Mar 2016 06:45:12
main reason behinds Rafas rise from what we hear. Amazing guy.

{Ed001's Note - they were a great team.}

13 Mar 2016 19:06:49
looks like next seasons Charity Shield will be Leicester versus Watford.

When Leicester win this seasons prem next seasons winners will be the next team alphabetically I WONDER WHO THAT IS?

13 Mar 2016 22:02:44
More importantly for me, Citeh dropped points again this weekend and it's the Manc derby next weekend. Another draw in that game would be nice.

14 Mar 2016 08:17:35
Only thing is we need west ham to drop points too.

14 Mar 2016 12:38:07
If we win even 8 of our last 10 games, that might just be enough to make top 4, IMO.

13 Mar 2016 16:51:41
Talking about replacing left backs on thisnot saying buy him but every time i see him arron cresswell impresses me or looks solid to me what are peoples thoughts?

Believable1 Unbelievable12

13 Mar 2016 17:05:22
not good enough or an improvement on what we have.

13 Mar 2016 17:42:51
I think he is a great player.

13 Mar 2016 20:55:49
Again, another player who is playing well at a level where he can do no wrong i. e WH. We don't need players like these anymore as the Charlie Adam, Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing have shown us. We need the right players with the right temperament and ability to cut it here like Can, Firmino, Coutinho and Studge who had the backbone to play here and succeed under pressure. The Cresswells, Payets and the like aren't needed here anymore. Klopp will put an end to this, I hope.

13 Mar 2016 22:47:50
How are West Ham travelling this season? Cresswell is a good player at a club playing well.

14 Mar 2016 07:22:42
He's a good player but I agree with ohio, our ambitions need to be higher and we have Flanno and smith for the left back berth.

14 Mar 2016 12:28:22
So what represents a good player? Must be a regular top four team in a top 3 league? And then no doubt we'll have the crowd out moaning that we never get a bargain. A good player is a good player no matter where he plays.

14 Mar 2016 12:47:10
Thank you, Ron. These types of players play at a level where they can afford to go 3-5 games without playing well and nobody will jump on their backs as the fans are just happy that a player like Payet although playing well, chose to come to them. That is not going to fly here at LFC. If you have 3-5 bad games, you will be sold in the summer. Ask Benteke. We tried that with Adam, Carroll, and Downing for the disastrous outcomes we now know of. NEVER AGAIN! Therefore, we need players with the bottle to thrive in our system and play at a big club with high expectations. This is part of scouting a player i. e his mental ability to deliver under pressure because LFC is and will never be WH, expectations-wise.

13 Mar 2016 15:37:13
FA cup really there for the taking this year. Everton and United are the best teams in it now. would kill me to see one of them win it especially United.

Believable6 Unbelievable9

13 Mar 2016 16:01:58
I have no problem with Everton winning it.

13 Mar 2016 16:06:33
the way this season is panning out I think Watford and crystal palace have a real chance, plus utd have to beat west ham yet.

13 Mar 2016 17:36:23
I would think West Ham and Everton will be the favourites but every game is so hard to predict at the moment.

13 Mar 2016 17:33:15
Everton palace Watford and West Ham/ United for FA cup. Probably only one team from England left in CL, and 1 left in EL, Leicester top of the league. Crazy season, so many English teams being consistently inconsistent or just poor.

13 Mar 2016 19:52:35
its been a wake up call for all the big clubs and football is all the better for it, its about time the big clubs realised that they don't have a god given right to always win the prizes, Leicester and all the promoted clubs have given a good account of themselves with the possible exception of Norwich, although they were unlucky yesterday. A big win for spurs as well today, justifying the manager's Europa league line-up.

13 Mar 2016 20:20:14
I hope Everton win it and we trump them by winning the Europa league.

13 Mar 2016 20:55:29
Once we're knocked out of a tournament it ceases to exist for me 😄.

13 Mar 2016 21:13:06
I enjoy the fact everton have not won a trophy since 1995, and long may that trophy drought continue, I hope west ham win the utd replay and beat everton in the final with andy carroll scoring the winner.

13 Mar 2016 13:24:20
Hi Eds,

Just wondering what your thoughts are about multiple clubs having the same owners? Like how Watford and Udinese have the same owners. Are there benefits/ costs to the game from this?

Believable3 Unbelievable7

{Ed001's Note - I don't like it, they abuse the transfer system and, in my opinion, it is a form of cheating. It has great benefits as they can swap players around between the clubs.}

13 Mar 2016 14:31:57
Think PSG owners want to take us over ed001.

{Ed001's Note - no, thankfully.}

13 Mar 2016 17:34:33
To be fair, one team is going to suffer from swapping players surely? Like they could demand a higher fee from another club?

{Ed001's Note - the lowest ranked team of course, but they get the chance to get better players on loan from the sister clubs.}

13 Mar 2016 18:09:32
Thanks for the response Ed001. Completely agree with that. Great example is when City got Lampard.

13 Mar 2016 09:59:18
Ed001 indykalia reporting Spurs will bid £25m for Jordan Henderson in the summer? Just passing it on.

Believable2 Unbelievable15

{Ed001's Note - you mean the fake ITK that was outed by Everton as a fake?}

13 Mar 2016 10:20:43
That's the one ed, so it's not true lol.

13 Mar 2016 18:11:35
WHo is he ed?

{Ed001's Note - twatter fake.}

13 Mar 2016 20:34:50
Took the rumour from th S*n rag, when he was on his KFC lunch break.

13 Mar 2016 08:27:47
I've just seen in the Premier League since Boxing day we are 6th with a game in hand; if we won that we'd be 2nd, just a point behind Spurs who are top. If that doesn't give a true perspective of what Klopp has done already then nothing will.

In 4th I believe.
YNWA.

Believable16 Unbelievable11

13 Mar 2016 13:19:58
Klopp didn't come in on Boxing Day though. Not in anyway saying klopp hasn't improved us, but this doesn't say much.

13 Mar 2016 13:56:48
No Fencey, he didn't but the point is that we are improving under him and we are going forwards rather than staging the same or going backwards which is what was happening under Rodgers!

13 Mar 2016 17:35:45
Fixtures, injuries, home or away against teams all easily influence these stats bough.

13 Mar 2016 20:31:25
Sorry Fencey but I fail to see what difference they make. We have had more than our fair share of injuries, I believe we have played more games this season than anybody else in the PL and over a period as long as 3 months most teams would likely have their fair share of home and away games. If the stats are correct then it shows how well Klopp has done.

13 Mar 2016 20:58:01
Another set of stats that prove nothing in reality.

13 Mar 2016 21:17:19
I think he is just highlighting how much improved we have been. compared to the first few months of the season.

13 Mar 2016 08:11:37
Just to think had we beat West Ham we were on our way to OT today for the 2nd of three consecutive meetings. I have to admit that this would have been a bit too much for me.

Believable22 Unbelievable10

12 Mar 2016 20:55:49
Question/ s for Ed001 if possible.

Obviously its highly likely we'll be able to overcome Utd at Old Trafford if we're able to just keep up momentum etc, thus getting through to the final 8 of the Europa.

Would you like to see us drawn against Dortmund at some point?
I guess the most epic being a final showdown if we actually get that far.

And the second part of the question. if we were drawn against them, how much of an advantage do you think it would be having Klopp who has worked with many of the players inside out, knowing their strengths and weaknesses? Do you think it could give us a better chance in a way?

I know it would be the hardest draw, but it would produce two really special nights of football. especially with the Klopp aspect and, I think, I real mutual respect between the two fanbases.

Many thanks in advance.

All the best mate.

Believable3 Unbelievable11

{Ed001's Note - I don't care who we play, I just want us to win. It should give us an edge yes.}

13 Mar 2016 09:37:17
Oh don't start thinking this ties over mate .
Players start looking to Dortmund ect we'll be beaten at Of Trafford.

13 Mar 2016 10:31:15
I'd rather we dodged Dortmund but in saying that if we play like we did in the 1st leg with united we could beat anyone left in this comp.

I can see us scoring at OT which finishes the tie.

13 Mar 2016 10:39:17
Next goal winner.

13 Mar 2016 10:44:24
That will be the final if we get through its written in the stars.

13 Mar 2016 01:09:40
Im really not sure why people are being so sensitive when it comes to ed002 so he doesn't like the stadium plans, so he made a comment about people from Liverpool feling at home in detention centres, SO WHAT its just words and opinions guys. its really crying over spilt milk. iv'e read numerous times that ed002 is fond of lfc and constantly shares info you won't find anywere else on the internet oh but that's fine right that passes your approval, but he says something negative and all hell breaks loose. try growing up and stop being so sensitive.

ed2 i'm gratefull for everything you do on this site, and hope the trolls don't stop you from being fond of lfc, as for your info well to be honest too many on here don't deserve it, guess your knowledge has become a burden to you.

keep smiling ed2

Thanks.

Bang on lad. People need to stop taking things to heart, scousers were renowned for having a sense of humour, unfortunately some people still take things to serious. Ed1/ ed2 keep on posting what ya do, your work is massively appreciated.

13 Mar 2016 08:24:53
Ed002 (and of course Ed001 too) are the reasons I look at this page every night and every morning. People might not agree with everything on here but that is no excuse for hiding behind the internet and writing things you'd never dare say to someone's face. Ed002 knows more about football than I dare say anyone else here and he gets abuse for speaking his mind. I wouldn't want it any other way and his humour always makes me smile. let's not make a few trollers speak for us all - Ed002 you are respected by the majority here and your often very long replies which must take some considerable time are great to read. Please everyone press agree in support of Ed002!

13 Mar 2016 09:41:25
It's a banter page. And who cares what the inside looks like haha. You go in, toilet, hotdog, beer, back to your seats.
Nobody stands around looking at walls n admiring the ceiling.

13 Mar 2016 13:56:34
I agree with what you're saying, but to suggest ed2 is fond of Liverpool, might be a bit of a stretch. I certainly don't think he likes the fan base very much and has criticised the club a lot, more so than I've seen on other pages tbh. But maybe that's because there is more of us, so naturally more negativity. I respect the information ed2 provides and some of his opinions but ed2 sometimes is very rude to posters asking trivial questions, as if to be controversial or something. I know that might not be the case but it seems that way, so really he doesn't do himself any favours. I appreciate the information and I would never want him to leave but when you dish it out you should accept it too. Same goes for ed1 a fellow Liverpool fan. Someone can make a borderline stupid comment or even something that makes sense but is dithering from his own opinion and he completely slates/ insults them. It doesn't happen often but he knows it happens.

Maybe I'll get one of those responses for this comment, maybe they will do the sensible thing and ignore it. They are the reason I come to this site in the first place, doesn't mean I always agree with them or like them. They do a very good job though.

13 Mar 2016 20:39:03
Sometimes the eds have to disagree or even be a bit controversial. That's how you instigate a debate. How boring this site would be if everyone just agreed! Its the debate, the opinions from the eds as well as the fans that keep the site interesting, if not more so! Some just need to grow up, learn how to debate, state an opinion without resorting to name calling or abuse. If it wasn't for the eds I for one would likely be at a different site.

13 Mar 2016 01:07:15
I've read that Liverpool are in talks with Swansea over a deal involving Allen and Ayew, any truth in this?
Cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable21

13 Mar 2016 08:30:27
I hope not. I went to see Swansea against Norwich last week and Ayew was at best average, and get subbed half way through the second half. Definitely not what we need.

13 Mar 2016 20:59:57
Nope, I'll pass.

14 Mar 2016 10:39:08
Hopefully Allen stays for next season anyway.
