This is my first post on this site. I have read it every day for the last month. I have been a Supporter since the Shankley days and today was one of proudest days of my life. Liverpool Football Club moves into a new era. I have seen LFC win everything, but my son who is now seventeen has not seen us crowned as champions. I hope that this can be put right in the near future. I am a realist and I know it is going to take time and I am willing to be patient. Our club is more important than any individual or any reactionary group, we need to support our new owners and the lads on the pitch more than ever. So please lets put the negativity behind us, lets get positive and believe. It is possible Andy. . LFC since 1967

NESV's top 3 current projects. .
1. Talk to the fans. They want the fans to feel included and part of the running of the club.
2. Clarify the stadium issue. They have a track record in redeveloping stadiums so their preference would be to redevelop Anfield and raise it to at least 65,000, with the potential to expand further. They would rather saty at 'home' inAnfield than move away to continue the tradition.
3. Return Liverpool to winning ways both on and off the pitch. Roy Hodgson will be Liverpool manager until atleast next summer. They want stability at the club first, so by sacking the manager now would be a complete contradiction on what they have stated. They have confirmed around £80m-£100m will be made available for players for the next 2 transfer windows. They also want to overhaul the Academy as they are big believers in developing young talent.
Lets give them a warm welcome on October 24th for the home game with Blackburn, and give Martin Broughton the send off he deserves for what he has done for our club. Now the protests have stopped, lets allget behind the team and the club as a whole, raise the atmosphere at Anfield, turn it into a fortress once again and be that 12th man to the lads! C'mon you Mighty Reds, a new chapter starts now, lets live the dream and bring back the glory days!

Omz {ed's note - Hicks would have to sue them personally, so I doubt the club would be able to do anything other than pay their legal fees. The guy is deluded, his case rests on very little, as soon as I get definite info and can really positively explain what he is referring to, I will share it with you all. But suffice it to say it is resting on very little other than the 'Home Team' thing and how they referred to each other in emails and letters.}

I personally believe he is talking about suing the "English Directors". The reason being that Hicks thinks that these 3 board members carried on with the sale's process during the injunction Hick's got from his pal at the Texan Court. Which we all know said that no one not even H&G (which they did) could attempt to sell the club while the Texan injunction was in place. And ironically are trying to sue them for breach of that injunction when H&G had breached the High Court injunction by getting an illegal injunction from Texas in the 1st place.
I've got more injunction's in my theory than Hicks has sitting on his lawyers desk.

I'm a long time reader of this site. I have lived and grew up in the U.S. my whole life when my parents immigrated from Liverpool to Chicago in the late 70's. My dad made me a Liverpool supporter from the moment I popped out. I knew that when Hicks and Gillett bought our beloved club it would be in this type of mess within 10 years, but when the financial crisis hit the U.S. last year I had a feeling this was going to get ugly for our club very quickly as both of those clowns have destroyed other sports franchises with their on hands. Not only am I a die hard LFC fan, but I love all American sports collectively. I will tell one thing that I have noticed with watching baseball and especially the Boston Red Sox at times, is that they want to win all the time. In years past the Red Sox were the joke of the MLB until Henry came along with his co-founder and built a team that could compete on and off the field with the likes of the Yankees year in and year out. I feel he will do the same, but on the basis of looking a Man U as the Yankees, if we can beat them and compete with them we can be as good as we were in the 70's and 80's. He won't spend money like Arab City or Chelski, but will look to build his team through the youth ranks and here and there will purchase a big star(s) that is needed for a particular position. He is probably one of the smartest owners as he never gets directly involved with the team, but is an avid listen when it comes to what is best for the team to win. Although LFC might be in a rebuilding stage for a year or two, I can guarantee you this he will make LFC the powerhouse it once was and the most respected team not only in England, but in Europe. I can not wait to watch the game on Sunday and just hear the cheers and songs coming from one of greatest supported clubs ever, it will be a moment to remember for the rest of my life I would do anything to be at that game. And one last thing although he maybe Amercian he an American with a rich sporting background and the drive to put a product of the field that will challenge for everything it has thrown at it.
Prediction for this weeks derby will be the 3-0 Reds, Come On You Reds! You'll Never Walk Alone.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp spoke to talkSPORT about his fears for the future of English football following the Liverpool takeover saga this week.
As the Anfield club see their affairs battled in the courts, Redknapp believes the lack of British ownership in the Premier League means that the future could see domestic games played across the globe while the public are left to watch on tv.
Redknapp told Kick Off: "You do wonder where the next British owners are going to come from and you wonder where the game is going to finish up in years to come and where the foreign owners are going to take the game.

It's frightening, it seems there is no one in this country at the moment who can afford to buy an English club, it just seems to be completely foreign owners.

A lawyer for Liverpool's owners says they will drop their court order in Texas blocking the sale of the club.
The move does not mean current owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett have given up their fight to stop the £300 million sale to the owners of the Boston Red Sox.

I am disgusted at how this is developing day by day! Football is supposed to be a sport where fans can forget politics and enjoy what happens on the pitch! The whole football world should stand up and say attention to the lunacy taking place and the football chiefs around the world should carry out new tests on current owner i.e the glazers to ensure no other football fan has to go through this situation!
I for one can not wait for this saga to be over and just start enjoying the actuall game we all love FOOTBALL!

I live in Spain and have trouble getting Sky Sports News, but I do get LFC TV. I have to say that I am really dissapointed with their lack of coverage of these momentous events. Rather than keeping us up to date, they were launching a new show featuring Steve Gerrard and some kids.
They appear to be pretending nothing is happening. Do they not want to upset Gillet & Hicks as our (technical) owners?
There hasnt even been an episode of LFC Now (their news programme) the past 2 nights. Very dissapointing - and a bit guttless if you ask me.
Ed - Is there any reason they are sticking their heads in the sand do you think? All very strange.
