Hi eds what's happened to Wisdom where is he? :D

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - WBA.}

Played the whole game today. Good for him.

Agree8 Disagree0

Why do people post the most basic stuff on here? Putting that question Into google could tell you where wisdom is. Instant response too.

Did anyone see Fletch&Sav on BT today? David James gave a very shrewd defense of his opinion that Liverpool can win the title.
Had the stats in regards to Sturridge goals vs Suarez goals last season.
They also made a very good point about Barcelona and Real Madrid. The FFP rules must not be working as intended for one reason, in fantasy football or football manager games of fiction and fantasy you could not sign Messi, Neymar and Suarez in the same team, nor could you get Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema and James is the same team.
It appears that Real and Barca play the fantasy and the games are more reality!
I think it needs sorting to ensure the financial security of the game.

Bony holds the ball up well, and that is it. If we buy him it will only be for that reason and headers nothing else. He is not worth the money stated and he is not good enough. My eyes borini would do more and suit us better than him.

Believable5 Unbelievable8

I agree. I think keeping Borini would be the better move. IMO bony will be a 2nd choice, with stiridge 1st. It doesn't make sense to buy him financially, and Borini offers more versatility off the bench. But I trust br, and whatever happens I'm happy, but bony to me isn't the right player for us at this moment in time, and same goes to falcao rumours.

Agree1 Disagree3

I've been saying all summer to keep and give Borini a chance. Young, wants to play for us, BR own signing, proven to score in the prem.

One other thing to add is that he'd have run and worked twice as hard as Bony this afternoon

Agree7 Disagree1

16 Aug 2014 23:21:10
Wasn't Bonny's best game, but maybe he has his sights on a move to Anfield? The guy scored something like 14 goals in second half of season last year (his first PL season). Borini isn't a bad shout, but I like the idea of a big powerful forward like Bony as an option.

Agree1 Disagree0

Affraid he's not good enough fellas full stop.

Agree1 Disagree8

Surely if we sell borini for 12 possibly rising to 14 and buy bony for around 16 it's not going to affect the finances so much, especially if we sell assaidi then the wages will balance too.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep the money and borini, if he is still struggling by January, we will hAve the money to get in a decent forward. Also there isn't that much out there at the moment, but by January there will be at least 6 players around Europe that we wouldn't mind getting one of.

Agree0 Disagree0

So he's involved in 2 goals in a game where the other team dominated possession yet based on that 'he 's not good enough'. You should be scouts.

Hi Eds, this apparent interest being reported by perhaps the worst sports news website ever IMO (caught pants down) regarding Cavani for £50 odd million. I know I have old age cynicism but is he really that good for that cash? And would he be good for LFC? IMO, we don't need to make bold statements of intent by buying world renowned players as BR has proved he can coach raw, young talent to a high level. Goal machines are a rare thing, and I think it's a risky strategy, when that kind of cash could be used to buy more than one perhaps less tried and tested but nonetheless hungry players (remember Torres Chelsea fans?).

Or is it me?!

Many thanks as always.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Cavani for me is overrated

Agree15 Disagree0

16 Aug 2014 21:20:18
Eds. Have LFC ever shown interest in Josip Drmic, or Kevin Volland?
Both very promising players, young, pacy and able to get goals.
Cheers for any response.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Evening Ed, can I ask is there any interest in Assaidi from West Brom as has been rumoured

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure Chris - they might be interested in a loan.}

WBA already have Wisdom on loan

I wouldn't read too much into Bony's performance today. If discussions are taking place about a potential move, the last thing he is going to do is charge around the pitch at 100mph and risk getting injured. If the club feel he is right for the team, they will have analysed him during his performances last year, not on today.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I'm sorry but I do expect that. For the sake of argument let's say your right. He is a professional footballer and if he isn't going to give 100% then he isn't Liverpool material. I think his quiet game was down just down to not having much opportunity to get involved, Swansea really did snatch and grab. What I was disappointed in was that at times he was getting out jostled by Evans, however he did recover and did play his part in the goals. I wouldn't jump down his throat for his work today as a lot of work gets done off camera. On top of this players who aren't overly mobile always look lazy when its not their day, e.g. Ozil. I will not, however, defend a poor performance with that excuse.

Agree1 Disagree0

Calmdown, what game were you watching? Evans didn't play in the game I watched.

Dont take too much from today. World Cup hangovers and some pressurised debuts made the day difficult for most.
United were fairly good going forward but woeful at the back, although I though Phil Jones was very good.
I would say that we appear to have a better balance in our team than anything I have seen today.
Tottenham, United and Arsenal are all top heavy and better going forwards than back. We have a much better balance and system.
The excitement is building and I don't think I will sleep much. good luck to all reds tomorrow, well, all Liverpool reds that is!

Believable14 Unbelievable1

Totally agree Mate. Good luck to us all, and welcome Mr Moreno!

EDs - is there a clause in Johnson's contract about guaranteed playing time when he's fit?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I have not seen his contract and I would doubt such a thing would be enforceable.}

Its another load of nonsense. Something that has been going about this site for a few years.

Just want to say a big thanks to Ed002 for all the info today. It has been a truly brilliant read. Ed002 is not the hero that we deserve, but the one that we need!

Believable3 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - You are very sweet.}

Hey Eds, we have gathered over some 400 people for our fantasy league and I was just curious if it would be difficult to do a page for this league? Myself and Reet would be very happy to oversee the posts! I'm just asking because it's difficult to find a good place to talk about it! If it's a major problem I understand.

If you would like I could ask the other pages that are participating if they would like to do this page.

Thanks in advance!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed033's Note - the man utd rumours site has a fantasy football talk page. We can put a fantasy football talk page on this liverpool rumours site. Please use the contact form.

Makes me a little sad seeing Sanchez playing for arsenal! Dd him to our transfers and it would be the perfect window, no need to buy bony and kono as suggested then!

Not half as sad as he's going to be in the next 12 months when he realises the mistake he's made!

16 Aug 2014 21:57:11

If we are working on a loan deal for balletelli and presumably with an option to buy at the end of it, doesn't that make Brendans comments a few days ago where he categorically stated that balletelli would not be coming to Liverpool look a bit foolish?

Believable6 Unbelievable9

It doesn't.
If he'd said Balotelli will definitely sign and he didn't then he would look foolish.

Just a quick one, do you see suso being sold or kept as a squad player?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I don't know. He wanted out but Liverpool priced him out of the move he wanted. Since then it looked like things were going to be OK but they have yet to have agreed a new contract and have offered him as part of the Moreno deal. We'll see if he has any sort of future at Liverpool.}

What a great win for the Swans - made my day big time (and will make my week if we win tomorrow). Huge result for them and even bigger for (well, against) ManU. Back to where they were last season. They know now that every team coming to OT this season will be as confident as last year that they can win there. And it dents the 'magician' reputation of their manager and all this rubbish of winning all their pre season friendlies. And also dent their hopes to take advantage of an easy draw at the begining of season. Early days of course but what a great start for all non ManU supporters. As for Bony and us - hard to judge his overall performance today as he had hardly any chances upfront. He is a strong guy who can keep the ball under pressure and were involved in both goals I think even if only in early stages of them - a header during the first one and a quick pass from free kick in the second. So if we do buy him great that we waited for him to make a bit of damage at OT.

Believable10 Unbelievable0

Bony looked very poor today. Giving away possession on numerous occasions and just looked very static with his movement.

We know he can do better, but I was disappointed with him today. I just wonder if he can maintain his high level from last season or will he fade like Michu and Benteke did after their great first seasons in the epl.

Red Rum

Agree4 Disagree2

The deluded mancs still think Mr Moyes was the core reason for their dismal season. What they cannot see is their squad lacks genuine quality. Apart from RVP and De Gea, I would not want any player of theirs if I was manager. Some of them still think van gaal will just wave a magic wand and everything will just sort itself out. Whiskey Nose was more than just a manager for them, he was Man Utd. But by the time they realise it, I hope they will have fallen so low they will struggle big time to get back up on their feet.

Agree7 Disagree0

Gomis looked as good as bony, strong, held the ball up well, not a great touch but made up for that by making sure the defender was a good 2/3 yards away with his strength!

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Aug 2014 16:54:40
Their problem is tactics.
......

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - If you wish to discuss MU tactics take it to the MU pages and stop sending all of these rubbish posts again. You are wasting everyone's tiem again.}

Its only 1 game guys lol

Agree0 Disagree1

Fencey, Gomis is a very poor player imo. But then even I would look good when playing against Smalling and Jones. U may not believe this, but Disney and his buddies are still waiting for Smalling and Jones to come good, and its been 3 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Benteke and michu 'faded' because they were inured for most of the season.

Agree0 Disagree1

16 Aug 2014 21:55:31
Yeah, Gomis has a poor first touch. He is going to cause problems for teams this season though. The fact that he has nothing played into him from crosses, has poor first touches, just showed how bad manu were at the back.

Must say, I've not watched much of Bony before but watching him today I really don't think he's good enough or would suit Liverpool.

Believable8 Unbelievable10

16 Aug 2014 13:44:50
45 minutes is a bit harsh to judge someone by, he's a very good player

Agree10 Disagree0

Based on a 45 min performance - away from home, where the opposition have 60+% of the ball and your team is playing deep.

I don't know if he's the answer but I wouldn't condone any player after 45 mins of one game.

Agree10 Disagree0

I think he would be a major threat, up top with Sturridge, surrounded by the creativity and pace we have in the team feeding him chance after chance. He just played a major part in Swanseas 2nd goal, taking the quick free kick

Agree2 Disagree3

He played his part in both goals too!

Agree3 Disagree6

He helped set up Ki's goal by blocking off a defender that could have stopped his shot. He was never going to have a field day against United at Old Trafford playing in Swansea's side, but I think he could be a first team player for us given a chance to adjust to our style.

Agree1 Disagree2

How can someone disagree with my comment that he played his part in both goals? It's a fact.

Agree1 Disagree7

16 Aug 2014 22:00:17
Are you kidding? He won them the game with his quick thinking to take a quick free kick. His normal attributes weren't so much on display due to him being isolated but that instinct is something I didn't even knew he had.

Agree1 Disagree1

16 Aug 2014 13:05:54
Ed002 does the player have a say when a buy back clause has been agreed between two clubs? What happens if the club wants to buy back the player but player does not want to return or personal terms cannot be agreed.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - "Buy back" clauses are pretty rare but can be inserted in to a contract. Putting aside some strange ones that Barcelona has used in the past, most contract terms of that nature are a simple clause which would offer a prior club first refusal on a player who is being sold once the club has been given an acceptable offer. So, an example. If Liverpool were to sell Raheem Sterling to Real Madrid for €27m plus the loan of Jese for a season, they could insert a clause which says they would like the opportunity to match any suitable offer when Sterling is later sold. This would generally be acceptable to all parties, and at a later date when Real Madrid are given an acceptable offer for the player, Liverpool and the player will be informed. If Liverpool decided to match that offer and Raheem agrees to a return, then the deal can go ahead. No player can be forced to move to a club that they don't wish to, so Raheem may opt to move elsewhere.}

16 Aug 2014 19:07:47
You know you tango with our minds Ed002 when you put such specific examples

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Examples always help.}

16 Aug 2014 19:09:53
Hoping your example doesn't come to fruition Ed002, at least not for that cheap price anyway!

Agree3 Disagree0

16 Aug 2014 19:10:15
@Ed002: so, using your example with sterling, if we don't activate the buy back clause, do we get any money? because I heard that bayern got some money from either us or leverkusen when emre can transferred

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Bayern received a payment in order to drop the clause - otherwise the provisions were such he could not be sold for another year.}

16 Aug 2014 19:12:20
Does it ever worry anyone when Ed002 says these in so much detail?! I hope this is just an example

Anyone else think this moreno deal stinks of the remy deal? How many other clubs do medicals that last for 3/4 days, this is just dragging on and on! Has a problem arisen again in this deal eds?

Believable5 Unbelievable5

{Ed002's Note - It is the weekend, nothing will happen until his transfer is processed by the FA and he obtains international clearance. I really dislike stupid posts like this.}

What is the point in worrying about this.

The lad is coming he's trained with the squad and he's been a target all summer.

Agree5 Disagree1

He's already training with us.

Agree3 Disagree1

16 Aug 2014 13:20:45
The fact he's training suggests the deal is done and medical passed. Just waiting the final paperwork. Nothing like the Remy deal at all.

Agree3 Disagree2

I would rather wait an extra 2 or 3 days for a medical to be done and not risking it like we did with Carroll or Aquilani. What would happen if Remy's heart problem aggravated and he wouldn't be able to play football professionally? The club would have lost a lot of money because the fans didn't want to wait a few extra days.

Agree3 Disagree2

16 Aug 2014 11:11:54
Morning Eds, with most of the pundits or so-called experts returning for the new season with the same old guff, I'd be interested to hear how you think the new season will go for us and any predictions you might have

Believable8 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - I think Liverpool should do pretty well with realistic targets of top four and getting through the group stage of the Champions League. People will be looking at the buys that, largely, are the choice of Rodgers to see that they are more successful at the club than many of those he brought in previously. Predicting where the team will finish at the end is difficult, particularly that there are clearly five teams capable of top four places. No doubt one side will again shock us with their performances this season.

If Liverpool do get through the group stage then February looks a tough month with away games against Spurs and Manchester City, home games against Everton and Southampton, a tricky 5th Round FA Cup tie away at Newcastle in the snow, and a tough home-leg Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

Not wanting to make any firm predictions, Liverpool will finish the season in third place in the EPL with 81 points scoring 78 goals but letting 40 in. A QF defeat in the FA Cup to West Ham will be bettered by a League Cup win over Everton at Wembley. Sadly Bayern Munich will prove too strong for Liverpool with defeat coming on March 11, 2015 in the Allianz Arena. They will take the tie 3-1 on aggregate after a 1-1 draw at Anfield (Gerrard, penalty 49 minutes).}

Someone get a pen, we need a checklist written up over here.

If we were to sign ballotell, konoplanka and moreno.coming in, its been an outstanding transfer window. i'm still disappointed with kellys departure considering Johnsons still here.
EMS said a bold statement last week about the only squad being slightly better was citys, but potentially we could be better. We will be a terrific force next season.

Believable11 Unbelievable2

I never thought this day would come :') are we friends now? Haha.

I am telling you though mate, our squad is very strong. We will finish in the top 3 hands down.

Agree7 Disagree1

Maybe we are EMS ;) its been a great week.
No doubht in the top 3. Were largely underestimated and with the potential signings, I see us easily brushing aside teams. Lovren will be key to our success this season.

Agree7 Disagree0

16 Aug 2014 13:11:00
If we get Kono and Ballo/Decent striker in. Then We are better than Chelsea and close to city. We would be in top 4 for the next 5 good years and beyond.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think the mass media underestimation will play into our hands. Everyone is expecting a Europa league Quality team but I still think that on our day, we could beat any team in Europe.

Agree2 Disagree0

EMS, as much as I would like that to happen, I just can´t see us beating the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Player for player both of these teams are better. But you might be right.

Agree1 Disagree1

Our team spirit and togetherness is what will give us the edge against those top teams. I'm not saying we will definitely beat them, should we face them, but that we are more than capable of going toe to toe. I don't fear any team.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Aug 2014 09:33:24
Ballotelli I personally would be quietly very happy about. Huge ability. The.loan deal may not be great financially but it shows us if can keep his head down and apply himself.

Believable12 Unbelievable0

16 Aug 2014 09:25:29
See BR is dealing in contradictories again, one minute he's saying there's player's cueing round the block wanting to sign for us, and the next minute he's saying we're struggling to attract a top quality goalscorer. . does this man ever listen to what he says or is he on auto-pilot.

Believable1 Unbelievable14

16 Aug 2014 10:30:43
He never said that! He was eluding to the fact that none are available.

Agree3 Disagree0

Yes he makes the odd contradictory statement, but he's young and I actually think he's a lot better than when he first arrived. Makes a lot of sense most of the time! Maybe give him a break?

Agree1 Disagree4

It just means you can't take a hint. Why do you keep pretending to be a LFC supporter when you claim to support Spurs? An insurance policy?

Agree6 Disagree1

FORNAX
Never let the truth get on the way pf a good story.

Agree2 Disagree0

I really couldn't care less what he says to the press, as long as he shows what he is capable of as a manager, and he surely did that last year, long may it continue.

16 Aug 2014 12:25:28
2nd in the table with a chance of winning with two games to go, ahead of 3 teams whose squad cost twice as much as ours, apparently not enough for some people

They prefer to dwell on the negatives

Agree5 Disagree0

16 Aug 2014 07:24:49
Can't remember exactly when I started supporting LFC but I'm guessing roughly 77, remember the glory days of us dominating Europe staying up way past my bedtime as a young un with my dad to watch sports night, filling a LFC scrapbook with new paper cuttings. I remember one birthday getting the yellow with red pinstripes kit and in those days it came in presentation box.
Being from Yorkshire with parents that worked weekends only got to few matches growing up, sitting in with the home fans at oakwell and Hudds town watching us beat the local opposition.
Taking my daughter and my dad to anfield for the first time are some of my greatest memories remember some blue noses going past on a double decker and shouting abuse at me and my daughter as we waited outside the Maccy d's at the ground and us giving some back
Think my fave memory apart from meeting Grobelaar at Wakefield station and having a pint with Alan Barney Rubble Kennedy in my local club has to be the CL final watching it with a gang of friends in a town centre pub. At half time went for another round of drinks and when asked what I wanted by the barmaid listed the drinks and a miracle. The miracle was delivered remember a gang of about 30 reds fans linking arms for the penalties and outside the pub taxis blaring their horns in celebrations pretty amazing atmosphere bearing in mind we were in Huddersfield!

My ma was a die hard red and my da was a couldn't care less spurs fan.

I wasn't pushed into supporting any team but was told basically from birth I could support whoever I wanted except for United.

Then I walked in while my mam was screaming at the telly and asked who was playing (think I was 3) and she said man u (at which point I said "bleh" (as the story goes) and they're playing Liverpool so more just because of a hatred of man u I got into loving Liverpool and that developed over time!

Just thinking of my first earliest memories of Liverpool and am currently quite drunk having been driven home by a Liverpool fan taxi driver. On the eve of a new season, I'm bubbling with excitement as our beloved Tuesday/Wednesday nights in Europe's finest competition, where we belong, return.

As a lad born in 91, I remember my first Liverpool jersey being the infamous bright and glorious yellow kit in 1997. I demanded that jersey and I couldn't be more glad I did. I wore that jersey proudly but probably didn't realise how important the club was and would be in my later life. Michael Owen was an idol of mine throughout these years. I received a present one Christmas, Michael Owens guide on becoming a great striker only for him to leave us when a greater opportunity arose for him. While I chose him as my first hero there was a Legend making his way up through the ranks of the club.

As this new season kicks off, more and more people write us off, the more I love it. At this stage I'm finding it hard to pick my favorite player, bought the new jersey this season and while there are plenty names I could put on the back of it there is only one name I can think of putting on the back as he has always been there as I have grown up, Stevie G. he's carried the club upon his shoulders for some time now, its time for those around him to step up and help him attain what he rightfully deserves. Anyone that has played competitive sport will know how much a responsibility he has and will know how much it can take out of you yet he stands tall walking out on that hallowed glorious turf of Anfield, a dream every pool fan could dream fan has dreamed about all his life. People slate the man on here every now and then, people may slate me for my love of the man but I think after the years he has given us, dragging us through thick and thin, his name should ring out louder and louder around Anfield. A lesser man may have left us for more glory and a better contract, he thought about it but didn't and I will tell my children about this man for years as I grow up, show his clips, moments of greatness against Olympiacous, AC Milan, West Ham, Manchester United and others. An ultimate hero.

But as we walk into this new season knowing we are not alone with 96 angels watching over us I just want to wish the boys all the best and want them to know I will always be proud to be a supporter of this club. I call on every pool fan to get behind the team no matter what, there will be low points inevitably in the season but as supporters it is up to us to get behind them and drive them on.

Sorry for the long post, my first ever post on this website but I couldn't contain my happiness in where we are as a club. I love the direction the club is going in, I believe the future is very bright for us no matter what other people think. And that is one of the most important things to me, people outside the club don't understand what it is all about, what we are capable of. This current crop of players really excites me.

So I end this post thanking everyone that took their time to read this.

This is Liverpoooooollllll!!

Being from a place where there are no top footballing teams that are easy to follow unless you go to matches every week, and then living in the arse end of nowhere with no family members who like football enough to take me to matches, as a football loving ten year old I was left with watching motd every Sunday to satisfy my footballing needs.

I didn't really have a team to start off with, I had favourite players. This was the mid 90s so I liked Shearer, Cantona, Le Tiss, Macca, but most of all Robbie Fowler. The 4 min hattrick sold it for me, I started wanting Liverpool to win every week, it went from there really. I still maintain that I didn't choose LFC, LFC chose me

My first game, 1981 start of the season at home in the Kop vs Southampton, 5-0 I seem to remember, £1.30 on the turnstiles as a junior, travel over on a old double decker from the Wirral. My dad not remotely interested in football so just went with friends from school. I suppose it could have been 50/50 if I had gone with a blue, but because I was born in Oz my favorite player was craig Johnston which really made the reds my team.

I don't post often but I have really enjoyed everyone's tale of falling for Liverpool, so I will share mine.

I'm from the states so played "soccer" growing up but it gave way to basketball as I got older because the two seasons meshed. I had seen a few MLS games on tv but they never really sparked my interest. I wasn't exposed to European football til I was 17, and my first taste was watching the champions league in 2007. I would watch whatever team was on but took a particular liking to a team in red with a striker whose hair was that of legends.

I think the next season is when I truly fell in love with football. Torres and Gerrard were my favorite players, along with crouchy (who was my first ever jersey!) and the style we played with then was mouth watering at times. Then there were the dark days if hodgson and the departure of Torres and I found myself not enjoying the football Liverpool played anymore. I found this site right around that time and started posting anonymously and have no doubt saying this site kept me a reds fan.

From the excitement with rumors in the transfer window to the relieving of anger and stress after a subpar performance I found a spot to share thoughts but educate myself on the club I loved. Few years down the road and Liverpool is what I would consider to be my only religion ha.

Thank you to all the eds for everything you do to keep this place up and running, and the contributors to this site for making it what it is today. A place to feel a part of something a world away for me!

So how I became a supporter.moved from Ny metro area to Cork in 11/2000. Grew up playing soccer(sorry) and Irish Football in the Bronx. Get to Cork made a few friends and started watching football. Saw LFC lose to Crystal Palace when they should have won in the FA Cup I believe. Then watched them annihilate the next three teams including the return leg v Palace. I was hooked. It was the resolve of the team, the pure feck it attitude to right the wrong. 14 years later I can't imagine life without our club.

Well I hope it does not happen. Balotelli's a pain in the a**e and is unlikely to ever realise his potential bcoz of his stinking attitude. Why not just bring in Bony who would at least make headlines for the right reasons?

16 Aug 2014 08:51:53
Yeah makes sense; so that we can screw Milan over with the Balotelli loan deal and then not buy him like they did with us on Aquilani.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - You do realise that Liverpool would be paying many millions to Milan and the player for such a loan if it were to happen? Buying him at the end of the loan, if that were an option, would no doubt offset some of those costs. Giving him back would likely suit Milan much better. Perhaps the supporters would be better served encouraging the club to act responsibly in the transfer market and show respect to other sides? In the big scheme of things and the longer term it may well be to the advantage of the club, particularly when decisions start being made about the future of the European game. We are that time of year where again some clubs are about to meet to discuss breakaway options, television deals, financial sponsorship caps etc..}

Well everyone sharing stories of how they became a red, here goes.

As a kid I was completely unsporty and didn't like sports purely because I didn't really understand them and was jealous of those who were. The only one I liked was michael owen, and I only watched him for england. Then, when I was 7, having never watched many football matches other than the england ones, my dad randomly calls me into the living room, asks if I want to watch the european cup final. By coincidence, the first game I fully took an interest in, also happened to be the 2005 champions league final. The rest is history, I was hooked, and have supported the reds ever since.
