I can't wait until De Gea leaves United. They will be screwed! Bad form with the death mocking at Old Trafford as usual.

17 Mar 2016 23:26:16
The keeper was amazing again. But in the End.
Magic Coutinho made him look Daft 😂.

17 Mar 2016 23:52:52
The chants last week and tonight were a disgrace absolute persons of the earth.

18 Mar 2016 01:38:06
They are the spitting image of their once great manager. Bitter as a woman scorned.

17 Mar 2016 22:47:44
Massive, massive result. Absolutley massive. A season defining result, nothing less. And it is great fun that as much as it is big for us it is a huge upset for the Muncs. Let's hope we capitalise on that in the leauge and the EL and that they stay out of the top 4 starting with a draw against city on Sunday.

Two comments re players. Every time people discuss here who we should bring in the summer I say that our greatest challange in the summer is not who we bring but how we keep Couts. We all seen today wahy. Also, please one of the big European teams come and take De Gea already. Without him they are lower half of the table team.

Thank you JK and welcome to LFC.

Ah and I forget to add- Gary Neville was kicked out of the competition and sent to the stands as well by the ref. Happy days.

17 Mar 2016 23:28:31
our greatest test is keeping hold of Jurgen Klopp thank the lord he came to LFC, thank the lord, thank you God.

SAINT PADDYS DAY IN LIVERPOOL

SAINT BADDY DAY IN MANCHESTER

wine for my men we ride at dawn- Jurgen Klopp.

18 Mar 2016 00:07:46
he's been here six months. i'm sure he'll feel a little less 'lonely' with you finally on board.

17 Mar 2016 22:12:17
Not gunna lie was so nervous for 30 minutes there, missed a few chances and escaped a few. Coutinho what a goal. Then a few misses which were easier!
Sakho was immense, and Lovren didn't put a foot wrong. Never seen Clyne look so shakey! Can was class again, strong on the ball and seemed to be there every time we gave it away. Hendo looked a little lost, maybe injured as he went straight down the tunnel, should have scored too. Firmino looked a little tired. Lallana worked hard, took a lot of touches again, far too many around our box! Sturridge looked a little off the pace but I was very impressed with origi, strong, quick and direct. Overall a professional display eventually, although a few lapses. I did question klopp not bringing on the extra midfielder, but He knows best, should have won it in the end, Get in!
Two more things, firstly, anyone but Dortmund!
Also, how can Fellaini throw three elbows in two matches and get one yellow?! He's got a name for it from everyone except refs, he surely can't keep getting away with it?!

Believable7 Unbelievable3

17 Mar 2016 22:19:46
Couldn't agree more with everything you said!

17 Mar 2016 22:35:53
Agree with pretty much everything mate!

Sahko and Lovren looks pretty solid, we looks weaker on the wings. Expected from the left but clyne was shakey. Hendo i thought played okay but should have scored. Can was great, firmino also played well but looked a bit tired/ off pace a little.

As did studge.

AL worked hard and overall played well but later on he started taking too many touches and slowing things down.

Origi looks sharp coming on!

And Phil - just magical.

Fellaini is a joke. It should have been a red i thought. Hopefully this now gets addressed as he actually got booked for the one elbow.

Well played lads! YNWA.

17 Mar 2016 22:39:06
Fellani is a 1st class thug end of.

17 Mar 2016 22:57:46
Really professional performance.
United huffed and puffed but we had the class and skill.
Another disgraceful decision to allow Fellaini to stay on the pitch . even Howard Webb called him a ' thug' tonight.
Great team performance. Sad that Hendo had to go off feeling ill. Klopp said he'd been vomiting at half time.
Brilliant goal by Coutts.

Well done lads. YNWA.

17 Mar 2016 23:14:42
Henderson was vomiting during half time went straight onto team bus he has an illness in fact jurgen said am I allowed to say vomiting to tv interviewer.

17 Mar 2016 23:30:27
Hendo was absolute crap but like Klopp said, he was ill.
So I think we should applaud the fact he had the Fight to be a captain and try to play.
I'm his biggest critic at the minute, but there's nothing wrong with pulling on the shirt and going out against United, with the attitude to Fight for your team!

17 Mar 2016 23:44:07
Yeah I saw that after the post 007, he looked as though he was puffing in the first half! Respect to him for that, and I'm glad he's not inured!

17 Mar 2016 23:48:38
I will say bring on Dortmund. If anyone can tame Dortmund, it is Klopp.

18 Mar 2016 00:08:14
Shame Hendo didn't vomit in Fellaini's hair.

18 Mar 2016 01:42:19
Great post, Fencey. Pretty much covered everything although I thought Studge had a stinker. Made all the wrong choices almost every time. Must do better.

18 Mar 2016 01:44:33
think hendo will vomit again when he watches back his performance.

18 Mar 2016 06:28:17
I was delighted to see fellani play, that is all he has ( ELBOWS ) , he's a clown and when utd use him he is easy to read and play against . Target man and he can't even do that role . He is a dirty git but he was frustrated and that meant we were on top . Refs will catch him out in the future . Enjoy the win over two matches . I am .

17 Mar 2016 22:11:24
Unf'ing believable goal. That looked straight out of futsal. but to do it at Old Trafford, at such a critical time in such a big game, and against De Gea was just genius.

Well done Coutinho.

17 Mar 2016 22:36:09
Magic mate!

17 Mar 2016 23:09:14
Your right and I'm glad somebody found out de gea's stance. It took a sublime finish cause how many times over the last five or six times we've played them has one of our strikers been one on one with him and hit him as he stood like that. Great skill and it might now give de gea's something to think about as he was made look silly.

18 Mar 2016 03:59:33
he more than made up for his miss in the 1st leg, what a great trio of brazillians we currently have in our 1st team squad. well played phil.

17 Mar 2016 22:11:12
hi ed01 great result tonight your pre match ritual worked again then. sturidge still a concern though just seems a shadow of him self wat do u think? also sakho immense tonight man of match for me! last one edds wat do make of origi I've been really impressed of late think he could be a top striker cheers.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed001's Note - Sturridge is just lacking confidence, that is why he is taking too long. Once he gets that back he will be fine. For now though, Origi would be first choice. The worry is that Studger is still a lot better as an option than Benteke. Twice tonight Origi hit shots that bounced off De Gea, twice Benteke was stood on the edge of the box watching, making no effort to get in place to get on the end of a parried shot.

By the way, it was not just me doing the pre-match ritual, I made the sister and brother in law do exactly the same things as we did last Thursday before the game. Even made them walk the exact same route. They think I am mad! Mind the brother in law is a lucky charm, we have never lost when he has been here.}

17 Mar 2016 22:46:42
its a shame with benteke because he does some great stuff then just doesn't follow it up twice he set up origi with some nice skill and then like u say doesn't follow it up I'm just screaming at the telle willing him to do it ha shame! with studge just hope its confidence because at mo doesn't seem to even have the pace or wat to do with ball but with the time he's had off could take ten fifteen games to get it back. well ed u need to be doing this ritual for rest of season ha because I rekon we could sneak 4 here city arsenal all looking vulnerable at mo cheers.

17 Mar 2016 23:01:27
Told you earlier. It's my lucky knickers what did it.

17 Mar 2016 23:47:03
Very impressed with origi, runs hard, Battles well, is strong and direct! Took on two shots after creating a yard, which is what a striker should do, like you said, wasn't the best strike but if de gea fumbles it, others would struggle too.
Sturridge just needs a goal, he's still far more influential mind. Think klopp should just tell him to stay on the last mans shoulder until he's back and firing, I think he's over thinking or trying too hard to be involved, when in reality, if you have coutinho lallana and firmino in the space, they can create.

17 Mar 2016 23:12:48
Time to ensure your Sis and B-i-L stay with you permanently, Ed001 ;-)

Surely the satisfaction of seeing us winning every week will be compensation enough for the extra rent?

{Ed001's Note - I have already suggested just that mate.}

18 Mar 2016 01:18:35
We're back to usual ed 1, I've got to disagree with you. Origi's had a decent amount of game time recently but he's struggling to make an impact. He sees a lot of possession because he can chase the ball into space but he rarely does anything with it. Meanwhile Benteke, when he gets the ball, routinely retains possession and sets up chances for other players. I'd love to see Benteke and sturridge get a game together because I think sturridge would thrive off it.

{Ed001's Note - you must have missed Origi making himself 2 shooting chances then?}

18 Mar 2016 01:44:17
Ed001, you've got to find a way to keep the brother in-law there until we lift the trophy!

18 Mar 2016 05:07:33
Origi's ability to do all of
1) dropping deep or
2) making runs in behind
3) adding physical/ aerial presence
4) bringing the attacking mids into play around him
is unparalleled amongst our forwards at the moment.

Only thing holding him back is his inexperience/ youth and finishing. If he gets clinical and starts knocking in goals, Sturridge's spot could be under real threat.

18 Mar 2016 05:16:00
Ed send some flower and kisses from us to your brother in law.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure he would love that mate.....}

17 Mar 2016 22:07:19
Decent performance today. A bit shaky at the start but who cares. My ratings for the game -

Mignolet - 6. Alright game, not much to do. Awful kicking and a few strange decisions.
Clyne - 3. Absolutely dreadful all game. Worst game I've seen him play by a clear mile.
Lovren - 8. A bit shaky at the start but grew into the game and was rock solid after half time.
Sakho - 9. Absolute class tonight.
Milner - 6. Worked hard, not much to do today, but reliable as always.
Henderson -5. Poor, didn't affect the game and seemed to lack any defensive awareness.
Can - 8. Another wonderful performance, absolute beast.
Lallana - 6. A few good moments, but dithers far too much on the ball when he should just play the easy pass.
Firmino - 6. Average but tidy game, wasn't as involved as was expected.
Coutinho - 8. World class goal.
Sturridge - 6. Few good moments but locked composure which is unlike Sturridge. Also didn't like how he didn't clap the fans when he came off.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

17 Mar 2016 22:41:39
Because Studge thinks he's the man but hey it's always good when a player looks peeved when he comes off.

17 Mar 2016 23:07:35
Didn't think Hendo was bad, made a lot of ground, got up the pitch and into a good scoring position which he was unlucky not to do well with. Did all of this despite vomiting at half time as Kloppo said. Wouldn't give him a 5, i would say 6 at least.

17 Mar 2016 23:17:29
looking at clyne tonight I think we need a right back and not a left back, Moreno will improve.

18 Mar 2016 00:05:39
What I liked in hindsight is that despite Clyne have a torrid time and Hendo, Llalana, Firmino, Sturridge all having a bit of an off night, we still had plenty of class to close that game out. Milner, Sakho, Can were immense and Lovren solid. Coutinho brought that incredible piece of magic we needed in the decisive moment.

We are no longer looking around in vain for someone to step up, or praying for one individual to return to the team. there are a few looking capable of producing something magical at any time.

18 Mar 2016 01:45:24
Hendo was ill all game hence, his average perf but credit to him for not backing down and going to battle for the club he captains.

18 Mar 2016 04:13:08
not relying on 1 man and having a team ethic will only stand us in good stead for the future. I must credit milner for being solid in the full back role tonight, and sakho and lovren for another superb performance, surely this now spells the end of skrtel's time at Liverpool, but that discussion is for another time.

17 Mar 2016 22:05:48

taking my lfc glasses off he's in my top 5 premier league players ever. But great to see him sulking. Him and Neville on the same night. Brilliant.

17 Mar 2016 23:12:25
I had bad stream tonight and didn't see this but everytime I heard Michael Owen talk it seemed like he was praising Utd and miserable when Liverpool did well. Wtf. Love the site don't get on much but it's my go to site now. Happy paddy day.

17 Mar 2016 21:47:32
Enjoying the game tonight, its the first time have been so relaxed at the outcome of any of Liverpool games, Cutinho had been the best player on the pitch, Sakho is rock solid, so i Lovern.
The best thing of the Game is you can only hear Liverpool fans cheering.
The Mancs have been quite for quite some time.

17 Mar 2016 21:58:53
Personally thought can was out motm, couts was good and tbf besides clone think everyone did well.

17 Mar 2016 22:00:35
Phil and sahko bossed it!

17 Mar 2016 22:08:27
Sakho or can for me amence. both of them . but you know why? I here you say . easy because the GRASS IS BETTER THERE. 😭😭😭😂😂.

17 Mar 2016 22:17:08
Seems like a win tonight. Cutinho, sahko, loovren, even Millmer and clone were great. 😂. Can def see an improvement in our team. Saying that Utd are going to the dogs. Terrible team at the min.

17 Mar 2016 22:46:30
Maybe not clone tonight lol.

17 Mar 2016 23:49:12
Sakho motm, can closely following. Coutinho won the tie, but sakho made sure we didn't lose it!

18 Mar 2016 01:47:37
Sahko and Can are neck and neck for MOTM. He was a monster and gobbled up everything in front of him. Total boss. Can? Beast of a player.

18 Mar 2016 04:24:24
did not see the match, had to work but its not a shock to hear that redohio, 2 of my favourite players, both have been unfairly maligned esp sakho who has this bambi on ice reputation not based on facts. let's hope he can stay clear of injury now he has hit top form. As for can I truly believe he can become one of the worlds best midfielders, he has all the attributes required and now he is being coached by klopp he has every chance to fufill his potential.

17 Mar 2016 21:26:19
Only one man in Liverpool enjoying Clyne's performance tonight.

Believable0 Unbelievable5

{Ed001's Note - do we have to keep going through this every Europa League match? He was not put in the squad list because no one expected him to be fit enough.}

17 Mar 2016 19:09:07
Thanks ed.

17 Mar 2016 19:11:08
He's wearing a red and white scarf sitting in the main stand, unless you can pick him out from the crowd he can't play in a European game until next season.

17 Mar 2016 19:12:21
But now he's got enough why can't he play 🎣.

17 Mar 2016 19:54:21
@Taffy Tel, the club had to submit the players they would use for the knockout stages of the Europa league, he wasnt fit enough when we submitted the players we would use. Klopp has recently said though he wish he had included him.

17 Mar 2016 21:05:55
Haha begenred, wheres wally flanagan! don't worry i got it.

17 Mar 2016 16:20:31
As a bit of an olive branch I'd like to ask Ed001, how do you see it going tonight? The obvious thing I suppose is to expect United to really come at us and we try to counter but I wouldn't be surprised if we attempted to start very quickly and try to control from the off.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

{Ed001's Note - there is no need for an olive branch, we just need to get a 'this is a joke' font for typing with, along with a sarcasm one, as they are both difficult to judge in pure type.

I think United will not open up until the second half, hoping to catch us out in the first half, without risking going down by another goal. Though you can never tell, as it doesn't seem like van Gaal actually knows either, the players seem to take it on themselves at times to attack. I just can't see him wanting them to risk conceding a third.

17 Mar 2016 17:02:15
It's going to be a furious first 5/ 10 mins I think. Like s good old Derby.

17 Mar 2016 17:25:15
Agreed about the font idea Ed, also agree that there doesn't seem to be much of a plan from van Gasl most of the time. Whichever way it pans out I'm hopeful that our front line will cause too many problems for it to be an issue
Would love another clean sheet though.

{Ed001's Note - a clean sheet would be ideal. I don't care if I am bored to tears tonight, just so long as we don't go out! I am dreading an early error costing a goal and putting us on the backfoot. For once I would like us to do it the easy way.}

17 Mar 2016 17:40:10
Ed001, don't you think it's wishful thinking? Considering that our last 4 competition final wins have gone into extra-time and 3 of them went to penalties lol.

{Ed001's Note - very much so, but I can hope.}

17 Mar 2016 17:53:20
I think they will get an early goal but second half Sturridge and Coutinho will wrap it up 1-2
Next round Dortmund, that would be special.

17 Mar 2016 18:33:03
I have a real bad feeling about tonights game. A 2-0 lead is a weird lead to defend. Do you sit deep and try to counter or just go and attack? The player's mindset is going to be vital. Please god an early goal for us then i can rest easy.

17 Mar 2016 18:39:43
Think we'll win 3-0 tonight 😎.

17 Mar 2016 18:58:15
1st 15-20 minutes is crucial keep it nice and tight.

17 Mar 2016 21:09:16
I disagree about wanting dortmund, i hope they go to athletico or something and get knocked out. don't fancy facing them at all. But hopefully we can kill this tie off and at least still be in the mix.

17 Mar 2016 15:52:24
Grrrr, game on at 4am here, work in the morning - can't, well, won't watch it. Checklist: nervous-yes / scared - no / confident - no / probably getting up at 4am - yes! This is what it's all about, come on redmen make us proud! Oh please.

17 Mar 2016 13:24:51
Is there anything from the ed's on Xhaka what can i type into the search to narrow it down.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - I would suggest typing Xhaka. I am surprised you didn't think of that.}

17 Mar 2016 14:20:18
Or 'Haka' but you might start dreaming about signing Brodie Retallick at CB.6'8 and 120kgs should sort out our lack of presence on defensive set pieces!

17 Mar 2016 15:49:36
I did but it was debates comparing him to Lucas that disheartened me.

{Ed002's Note - And you find it impossible to skip by that stuff. Perhaps you can find a grown up to help you?}

17 Mar 2016 13:24:23
Reports say Flanagan to get new 3-year contract in the coming days. Hope it's true!

Believable11 Unbelievable3

17 Mar 2016 17:16:53
Love the heart and passion of the lad, but to be honest considering time on the pitch would Sir Bob had offered him a new contract? I don't think he would.

17 Mar 2016 18:06:37
Thats not his fault though is it Terry? I mean it's not like he's constantly injured he's just had one major injury.

17 Mar 2016 18:44:23
I'm not sure what Sir Bob would have done. But Flanno has had one bad injury and worked hard and came back. He's a quality defender. I'd definitely want him to stay! Glad to hear it's been given!

18 Mar 2016 09:08:08
Terry - that is a ridiculous comment. Would Sir Bob have given a great young talent who fought hard to come back from a bad injury to show what he can do again a new contract? Of course he blood would!

No doubt you'd be the same spoilt child who would bleet on about how we let him go for nothing when someone else signs him and he looks quality as well.

17 Mar 2016 12:04:24
Hello fellow redlings I was curious as to your thoughts on speedsters as well as how much of an advantage being a speedster is? especially for young speedsters trying to Zooooom into the first team
yours sincerely Mr Garrick/ Zolomon.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

17 Mar 2016 12:57:31
Having you or the Flash in the team wouldn't be an advantage. Get the ball above a certain speed and it would combust due to friction with air.

For a demonstration of how super powered football could work I recommend you watch the film Shaolin Soccer.

17 Mar 2016 14:02:48
shaolin soccer, classic.

17 Mar 2016 14:22:08
Speedsters are awesome but sometimes they're so fast they can disappear up their own arse like Raheem.

17 Mar 2016 18:23:53
Unlike Barry Allen I have mastered the speed force and am in complete control of my speed therefore would be able to control the power at which I kick the ball. do not worry about the flash soon I will steal his speed for myself please do not insult me again with you're pathetic attempts to justify any reason for me not being the team other than my own team fearing me fazing my hand through their chest when they prove incompetent. I am the fastest man alive on this earth and any other.

17 Mar 2016 18:34:05
Zoom mate get a grip on reality… The Flash is a television series and is the property of DC comics (unlike such properties as the avengers and Spider-Man) . Hate to say it kid but it's not real… Zoom, fearsome as he is, is nothing more than a devised comic book character and this is all he'll ever be. Tough break kiddo…

Yours sincerely,
Matt Murdock.

17 Mar 2016 18:46:09
Listen kid you are a coward you're way of vigilantism makes me sick, you are blind to the illness which plagues you're city and lack the will to distinguish it. Some may even say you're a half measure you hit em and they get back up I hit em and they stay down the only thing that is not real here is you're invitation to join the avengers who I could end in seconds so it is me who is sorry Boy-o as I see through you're masquerade you flawed man if we ever come face to face you will see who the real devil is

Yours sincerely Mr garrick/ zolomon.

17 Mar 2016 11:31:31
Hi Guys,

Can't wait for tonight, all be it feeling a bit nervous! Hoping UTD come out and attack which I think would play into our hands nicely.

Anyway, question I had was do away goals count at FT tonight or only after ET?

Thanks Ed. YNWA.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed001's Note - after ET.}

17 Mar 2016 11:46:13
Don't worry about away goals and extra time 😎.

17 Mar 2016 11:57:16
Away goals count at FT mate.

{Ed002's Note - Perhaps I can just clarify this for you all. The away goals rule applies after both full time and extra time. So if at full time the score is 3-1 to MU, Liverpool go through on away goals. If the score at full time is 2-0 to MU, then extra time is played. If the score remains 2-0 after extra time then penalties are required. If however the score after extra time is 3-1 to Manchester United, then Liverpool go through.}

makes sense, cheers lads! Hopefully won't be a worry!

17 Mar 2016 11:16:55
I didn't know the Barbarian played football?

17 Mar 2016 12:11:50
It is the will of Crom.

17 Mar 2016 14:22:15
Coman the Bavarian.

17 Mar 2016 09:34:31
I'm fairly confident we will get through to the next round tonight! We got absolutely no problem with team that want to attack and that's exactly what man utd have to do. We only struggle with team with have 10 man behind the ball.
Our defence are getting better as well. More stable and reliable.

Morning Eds and all,
I am hoping for a double win today, I am getting married and my beloved Liverpool vs Man U.
This could be quite a celebration if I get both the results!

Believable12 Unbelievable3

{Ed001's Note - congratulations, good luck for your future together.}

17 Mar 2016 10:04:55
Fantastic news. Hope you have a great day.
May your problems be little ones and may they come in two's and three's.

17 Mar 2016 10:11:37
Just wondering; Would you rather we lost to the Mancs, or your missus standing you up on your wedding day?

17 Mar 2016 10:14:45
Congratulations pal just make sure you watch it! I'm sure she will understand ;)

17 Mar 2016 11:49:55
Errrr what about a treble celebration?

St Paddy's day too 😄

Congrats Bazzaa, have a great day.

17 Mar 2016 12:14:59
Thanks Ed001, much appreciated.
EMS - Wow, question of the day! I guess I would go for the Mrs to turn up as preference, Liverpool will always be in cup competitions :)
Thanks to all for messages and thank god for 4G internet for the game!
Raising a glass too for St Patrick's day.

{Ed001's Note - give it a few months and we might get a different answer from you....}

17 Mar 2016 12:44:29
congrats on the wedding, Bazza.

17 Mar 2016 12:55:19
Haha ed that's spot on! Got married myself last year and I feel like I'm having a fling with my liverpool on a thursday and on a weekend she doesn't have a look in!

17 Mar 2016 13:43:32
Good luck trying to stop your guests from watching the football haha
Whenever I go to a wedding there always seems to be a big game on, everyone watches it and the bride goes nuts because she's not getting any attention lol.

18 Mar 2016 07:53:32
Well Eds and fellow Reds, I got both the results I wanted yesterday. what a great day all round.
Thanks for comments yesterday and hope your heads are not as sore as mine today!

17 Mar 2016 09:02:29
United will come out in full attack mode, that could hopefully work in our favour they'll leave gaps at the back, if we score it's game over in my opinion, I don't see how they will stop Firmino he's on fire right now, let's get the job done! Happy st Patrick's day everyone! YNWA.

17 Mar 2016 11:18:22
No they won't they will play the usual LVG style and back that they will score once and make it edgy they will back themselves keeping a clean sheet and will do all they can not to concede because then the game is over. Expect big hoof to fellaini and a very boring negative game by them. We will also play our usual game backing that we can score once in 120mins and end the tie.

17 Mar 2016 12:50:44
Utd aren`t built to attack in waves. They play a slow possession game which makes it difficult for them to break teams down. They may anticipate that we will go all out and press them and try to catch us out but they don`t have the players with the ability to pass their way out of a press which is why I advocate for us to press them I intermittently in order to confuse them.

17 Mar 2016 09:27:48
There are some players who could cause us some problem. UTD will most start with Carrick - Morgan - Herrerra in the middle with Martial and Mata ( weakest link ) on the flanks and Rashfold up front.
That is not a bad line up by any means. I am hopping LVG deploy another rubbish sit back and counter tactics against us. God I am nervous.

My dad's 10th anniversary mass, St. Patrick's day, Liverpool v Man. Utd 2nd leg. I've been practising all week for today.
Happy St. Patrick's day all.

17 Mar 2016 07:54:09

17 Mar 2016 08:21:38
Enjoy the day Barry.

17 Mar 2016 13:41:20
Did I get the Irish sentence wrong?

17 Mar 2016 05:36:56
anybody scared for tonite? i sure am. i hope we win ofcourse, but something doesn't make me confident. i hope we are not complacent and go to OT thinking we have already won the tie. this is Europe stranger things have happened. i think we should show a professional old school display. they will come at us they have no choice, we just have to sit and counter and pick them apart. do not give them space in the middle and man-up on set pieces. I actually want Joe Allen to start this game because he will hound that midfield. i am not sure who i could drop to get him in the team though.

Believable11 Unbelievable4

17 Mar 2016 07:08:42
Allen in for Milner would be a good choice. We will have to attack from the word go. Sitting deep would be stupid.

17 Mar 2016 07:51:46
I must admit I am a bit nervous re tonight if they score 1st I fear for extra time!

17 Mar 2016 07:58:29
Press and media building it up as Man U having to perform a miracle, now I am sorry but the game is at Old Trafford and we only have a 2 goal advantage!
I don't mean any disrespect to my club, team or manager, but since when is a 2 goal lead such a big advantage?
I know Man U are poor, but we are inconsistent at the moment.
Press and media all love and favour Man U, and teeing this up if they beat us. Which I really hope we don't give them what they want.
C'mon lads.

17 Mar 2016 08:05:04
I think we have been playing better away anyway so dnt worry lads we will get a good early goal then the game is in our pocket. Buzzing for this game COMON LIVERPOOL.

17 Mar 2016 09:16:46
Scared of what? 😄

It's going to be a glorious celebration tonight, the lads will have a cigar on by half time 😎.

17 Mar 2016 10:19:59
Totally agree Ron, I'm not scared at all, actually I'm really confident, they'll come out all guns and Sturridge will score early and we will win the game 2-0 again YNWA #StayAngry 💪.

17 Mar 2016 12:55:39
I`m nervous as I am before every game because anything can happen in a football match. That` about it. I am not scared BUT confident we can get through as klopp is not only a great motivator, he is a master tactician and completely OWNED LVG tactically in the 1st leg. they went with three at the back hence, overrun n us in midfield. Klopp then, takes off studge and puts Allen on and that got us back on the front foot. LVG? couldn`t respond tactically. That is how a game is won. If we show the mentality, self-belief and determination to not get beat by Utd. We will go through and I have no doubt in my mind that our boys are becoming believers. Go REDS!

17 Mar 2016 04:40:19
So, looks like Moreno is out. Flanagan is obviously not in the squad. What happens? Surely Smith gets the nod? Otherwise it's a back 3 formation with Lovren left, Sakho central and Kolo right. Or, Milner slots in at LB as he has to close out games lately?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

17 Mar 2016 06:04:10
Ironically We ll struggle without Moreno. Smith will bed to play a blinder.

17 Mar 2016 07:56:54
That coutinio miss could prove costly tonight! Thoughts?

17 Mar 2016 08:48:55
We should attack them from the start and try to score first while continue to defend properly. Mignolet for me should be on his guard and deliver his best performance by preventing them to score first because if they score first we will panic and be in big trouble.

17 Mar 2016 10:39:19
Hopefully the Rashmore miss in the first 17 seconds will prove more costly to the opposition.
