Do you think klopp will buy midfielders? Or do You think he will continue to rely on Henderson and can an winaldum
And the youngsters in cups

I ask cos the general sense I get from the manager is he has alof of faith in players (I feel who don't perform well enough to win titles or cups )

Klopp might go for a winger/ attacker, and deploy Coutinho in a central role. Think Couts would do better there, the team aswell. But a CM who can both defend and play ball will surely be brought in, to compete/ complete/ cover in regards to Hendo.
So my bet would be two signings for attack and midfield, and the rest of signings for defence and goalkeeping. CD, LB will probably be adressed.

What exactly is wrong with Sturridge, Ed? I thought he left the Spain trip with a virus, but there seems to be very little information on his progress.

The guy is just a complete drain on wages, he offers nothing when he's on the pitch either so I honestly cannot wait to see the back of him. Sorry if this is harsh.

It is harsh, harsh reality though. Even the most obstinate red or Sturridge fan couldn't seriously claim that we've had "bang for buck" when you take his salary into consideration.
Crying shame, because his talent is unquestionable.

I think we need to pass the Sturridge burden onto someone else now - good player on his day but those days are to few and far between. I think we'll do well to get £10m for him with his injury record but his wages will be better paid to someone who plays. Saddens me to write this.

Great sharkopod, although we missed sparky. Given the voice and decade of your commercial sponsors it seems perhaps you are less Melissa Reddy and more Charles Bronson though, very disappointing for those tweenies on this site with a crush.

Funny you didn't mention any CBs on the pod, even VanDijkilikealot, do you think with Sakho and Lucas leaving Klopp is happy with Matip, Lovren, Klavan and Gomez as enough cover?

Personally i think if we went for Ruffier, Pereira, Brandt, Dembele (the Celtic one) and to replace Migs, Moreno, Sakho, Markovic, Lucas, Sturridge then fine by me. but still think we're a bit short at CB.

{Ed002's Note - Sakho is not part of the first team squad so doesn't come in to the occasion. Lucas is a midfield player who provides occasional cover and there is an argument that when he leaves someone similar should arrive. Gomez has not been available for much of the season and will be fit for next year so again it would seem unnescessary. Obviously KLopp did add the two players he wanted last summer. I don't know who Melissa Reddy is but Bronson was an actor - I know that.}

Bronson was not his birth name.
