Nice little video of Milner emulating Zolas flick goal from 2002, obviously not in a real game but classy finish from James!

Here`s what Guillem Balague had to say about Barca`s perceived interest in Coutinho:

"Barcelona love Coutinho but they have no strategy to sign him at the moment. Neymar would like them to sign him and Coutinho himself is interested in the fact that Barcelona have followed him.

"But at the moment, it's all media talk.

"That's because he's a forward and he can play where Lionel Messi and Neymar play but they are both there. Coutinho can't be a substitute of those. He's also going to cost around 70 million euros and there is no buyout clause. This would mean a lot of negotiating with Liverpool.

"I don't see it happening. Barcelona will spend their money somewhere else. "

I agree that Balague is not the most current nor reliable when it comes to transfers BUT what he said in the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs makes absolute sense, IMO. Ed`s and fellow posters, what`s your take?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - let me guess, this is on Balague's website, right? In which case, he probably won't have even seen the piece, let alone wrote it. He uses ghostwriters, as he doesn't have time to make up all the crap he posts on his own....}

18 Nov 2016 17:49:51
Didn't Balague say that Xabi Alonso was only interested in Barcelona and wouldn't join Real Madrid about a season before he joined Real Madrid?

{Ed001's Note - something like that yes.}

18 Nov 2016 18:20:13
Unless the two Spanish clubs don't come calling or can't match our valuation then there should be not problem in keeping him.

19 Nov 2016 00:31:39
Balague is a pure spoofer hasn't got anything right in years. Remember him saying Klopp was waiting for the bayern munich hours before we got Klopp.

{Ed007's Note - Wullie Ballache has stolen stuff off this site and passed it off as his own live on Sky Sports, I can't remember the specific story but Ed001 might. We seen it with our own eyes a few windows ago.}

19 Nov 2016 00:59:28
Ed07, if I remembered correctly one of the Eds did tell us that before. Not just Balague, but I didn't even bother reading the rumours sites other than this site.

{Ed007's Note - Yeah it happens quite often, it would surprise you who reads the sites. Some of the more naughty Eds throw a few lines out on a fishing expedition now and again to see who bites but we don't make a habit of it in case it misleads posters.
I done a belter a few years back about Guinness pumping money into Celtic that caught on up here in Scotland and embarrassed a 'big time' Celtic blogger a cracker, he was that wrapped up in having a scoop he didn't notice it was April 1st and when I tried to warn him - we were friendly at the tme- that it was me that started it all still he didn't believe me!}

19 Nov 2016 10:38:01
Ha so your not friends anymore.

19 Nov 2016 13:26:59
Thanks for the input, guys. I just thought that from a logical stand point, the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs made sense, not that it was reliable info which clearly, it is not.

19 Nov 2016 15:01:20
Funny that ed07 lol.

Morning eds, thank for the great effort and your precious time you are sacrificing to run this website. However since I came to Canada I'm not watching premier league consistently. I only try to make time to watch Liverpool matches. With that said, I don't have any clue about the other teams progress. However last week my classmate introduced a website for bidding on matches worldwide. So this week I decided to put my money on soccer matches. more ever if you can give me your predictions depending on the current form for each team, I will be so grateful. Because right now all what I know is only match which I can comfortably put my money on is the Liverpool match which I think will win hopefully. With that said I have to predict up to 6 matches. So can any of the eds especially "ed01" if you are around predict for me five or six from this week's epl fixture. Really excited to hear from you.

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to encourage gambling. It is a stupid thing to get involved with. If you have a desire to go through what remains of your lief as a homeless and penniles bum, then hey - great start.}

18 Nov 2016 14:53:24
This post read like a car crash about to happen.

18 Nov 2016 14:59:42
Thank you ed02. I believe that you are the most wise person here in this site, so I promise I'm gong to seriously consider your opinion.

18 Nov 2016 15:02:06
And if you don't get them right Ed I'm then going to sue you for providing mis-information leading my homelessness.

18 Nov 2016 15:12:46
Question to thE OP

If the ed's could accurately predict said scores or results. Why would they use their knowledge to make you money instead of themselves?

I wouldn't go as far as what ed2 has said as that is a very black and white view. My advice would to stick to a sport you know.

18 Nov 2016 16:13:56
Only one winner when it comes to gambling and it isn't us. Been there done that and lost a lot due to it. Never again.

18 Nov 2016 17:02:10
Just want to chime in and say I absolutely hate bookies. Nothing more annoying than the half-time Ray Winstone adverts preying on people to fritter away their cash on the "next scorer" etc. grrrrr.

18 Nov 2016 17:33:22
Leave the poor lad alone. He's merely asking for some advice Ed002. I understand where you are coming from but it's not warranted from a man with your experience.

Just give the boy 6 matches where there are wins (Preferably where both teams score 😂)

{Ed001's Note - he can't do that until he decides which teams are to win, and he hasn't chosen them yet as he has been busy....}

We have a football rumours betting site lads.

18 Nov 2016 18:07:17
I'll give you one because we will definitely win and definitely concede 😆.

18 Nov 2016 23:29:44
I really don't understand gambling, it's a hobby that hardly ever financially improves yourself (in the long term) unless you get extremely lucky. And once someone gets extremely lucky, they piss the money they won down the drain because they reckon they can get lucky again and double their winnings, but it virtually never turns out that way. That's how gambling addictions start.

19 Nov 2016 00:24:23
My opinion on gambling is when it stops being fun then you should STOP. I gamble for fun, I don't gamble my bills I gamble what I have to spare and I win a lot but lose too but when I lose it doesn't bother me as I haven't gambled my life away.

19 Nov 2016 00:33:01
spot on Nick, gambling is a mugs game.

19 Nov 2016 06:44:21
Bet you a tenner it isn't!

19 Nov 2016 07:06:44
I had a whole £2:50 on Liverpool to beat Watford 6-1 @ 50:1. Last of the big spenders.

19 Nov 2016 07:08:54
Same as Ed023.
I've never known any hobby that improves your financial situation and I wouldn't call gambling "a hobby".
I think ed002 is spot on about not encouraging gambling. It's one of those adult choices people make that you'd probably be better off avoiding. For some people it's a bit of fun. Instead of having a couple of pints on an evening they might put a few quid on a match at the weekend.
However, if you gamble to win then you are indeed a mug. You never win, you just occasionally off set a few losses.

19 Nov 2016 07:27:39
I agree with both sides really I took the bait where you deposit a figure and they double it, I did £25 so got another £25.I got up to £130 in my account then got giddy and started betting big (to me that's £20 a bet 😂) . Lost nearly it all I'm now back up to £40 with a win against Southampton I'll be up another £25.
I got stung when we played man utd I went for 0-0 full time result and I should have won £125 but they didn't pay out due to it being classed as a boring game (by the way it's the gobby half time git who advertises them) there is only 1 winner and it's the bookies in the end.

18 Nov 2016 09:32:24
Morning Ed002,

You have previously said that should Gerrard come back to Liverpool in a playing capacity that he would be subject to charges from the FA (as a result of his book and other things I assume? )

Would this also be the case if he were to come back in a coaching capacity, or indeed if he were to take the managers job at MK Dons?

Cheers in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - No, only if he returned as a player - a similar situation arose with another ex-player.}

18 Nov 2016 11:58:30
Out of interest, what would the penalty be? A fine/ ban etc? Or is it done on a case by case basis?

Many thanks as always.

{Ed002's Note - It is a case-by-case basis. They don't write regulations for unprofessional thugs.}

18 Nov 2016 12:56:30
Well they write them for Rooney 😆.

18 Nov 2016 00:22:08
If Coutinho is out for the saints game I hope Sturridge capitalises on this chance to impress, he does seem like the natural replacement.

Who do you guys think will replace him? I suppose Origi may also have a chance as he's a bit more energetic, although, fitness permitting, that would ultimately give us our answer about whether Sturridge will be moved on.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

18 Nov 2016 09:26:14
Do you really think we would sell him in January and leave us with firmino and Origi.

18 Nov 2016 10:28:33
It's a squad game and we will deal with injuries like every other team. Will be interesting to see how he goes without lallana and coutinho but origi, Sturridge etc are good players I'm still confident.

18 Nov 2016 10:29:45
Where did I say we'd sell him in January?

18 Nov 2016 10:47:55

18 Nov 2016 12:11:20
I think we should try Ejaria. It sounds crazy but that kid looks so composed he could become something.

18 Nov 2016 12:58:13
What are people's thoughts on Ings' Liverpool future?

Was showing some great form and hen broke down again, which is such an utter shame for the lad.

Does anyone (maybe the Eds? ) have any info on whether the injuries he has suffered in the last 2 years are just awful, rotten luck of they point to a more serious underlying problem?

{Ed001's Note - as I said before we signed him, he has an underlying problem, hence his release as a youngster.}

18 Nov 2016 13:25:33
Thanks Ed001, that's a real shame. The guy deserves a break.

18 Nov 2016 14:31:37
Gutted about ings without injuries he could be the real deal but I can't help but think we'll never see it in him, yes he's still young but nah, his time at Liverpool is about up imo. Believe me, nobody more then myself hopes I'm wrong but I don't believe I am, far too injury prone and can't be relied on which is a real shame but it is what it is. We move on.

18 Nov 2016 14:31:41
Noski, if playing Ejaria sounds crazy, it definitely is. Grujic is further ahead than Ejaria and even he shouldn1`t play. If Couts can`t play, Studge and Origi can step in as they did last season when we thumped them on their own patch 6-1 with an Origi hatrick and a Studge brace.

18 Nov 2016 16:22:06
Sorry Hamilton Red, I've got to disagree on that one, for me Grujic has struggled at times this season whereas Ejaria has blended in seamlessly in every game he's played, he had a vital role in the 6th against Watford too. I think that's the reason Klopp has brought him on in the last few games over Grujic, don't get me wrong i think Grujic could develop into a top player but in terms of form, Ejaria is way ahead for me atm.

19 Nov 2016 13:38:10
At times? How many times has Grujic actually played for you to conclude he's struggled and how many times has Ejaria played to show he's better? 3 and 2 games respectively. So you drew that illogical conclusion on both players after watching both play a combined amount of games I can count on one hand? Your point makes no sense, HX. Unlike you, I'm not drawing conclusions after cameo appearances as I take a full view of things. Grujic came highly rated with Inter, Bayern, and other clubs going for him after being one of the stars at the U20 World Cup which Serbia won. It took a phone call from Klopp to get him here as he had a range of clubs to pick from. That is why he's ahead of Ejaria even tho, Ejaria is a good player. Who will be better is anyone's guess as both need to play more to judge them fairly instead rushing to judgment after five combined games.
