Suso - remember him? Currently star man in Milan derby. He's scored twice with around 20 mins to go.

always liked that lad.

20 Nov 2016 23:25:46
His first and second ever goals in serie A.

20 Nov 2016 23:59:04
Fowler remember him you can see where I'm going yeh šŸ˜.

Watched him a few times this season and he's been solid for Milan. They have a very good young team like Donnaruma, Bonaventura, Romagnoli, Suso, Niang and the new sensation of Italian football Locatelli, accompanied by smart veterans like Bacca, Alex, Montolivo and Abate with a very good manager in the very lethal ex-Roma and Sampdoria striker Vincenzo Montella (loved him as a player) . Hopefully, they make it to the CL as the Scudetto may be beyond them.

Abate is a very poor player Hamilton. Persic was eating him for dinner all night yesterday. Inter also have some fine players there. Icardi, persic, Candvera, Brozovic, Medel, Banega etc.

Jezza they were his 9th and 10th goals in serie A. He played half a season for Genoa last year and scored 6 and assisted 1. He's scored 4 and assisted 4 in 12 for Milan this year.

Hey guess what we've got a whole squad of players to get excited about, why not spend your post on the current players mate?

21 Nov 2016 12:20:04
He's class, it was a mistake to let him go.

Disagree Connectlogic. I think under the intensity way that Klopp likes to play he would have struggled but under the more technical but sedate pace of Serie A he will do quite well.

{Ed001's Note - if anything, Klopp's way of playing is what he needed. He used to run round chasing everything and made to look silly as no one else would try and press. That was why I loved him so much as a player, he wanted to get in the opponent's faces and make up for his lack of size by putting himself about. Certainly the lad had no need of time and space, such as he will get in Serie A, he was technically gifted and had quick feet, suited to a tighter, faster paced league.}

I stand corrected first goals for Milan in serie a.

21 Nov 2016 17:46:03
jezza your meant to be solving the beef not instigating it.

21 Nov 2016 18:11:33
Harry, I never said Abate was a good player I said he was a smart veteran) neither did I say Inter did not have fine players so don`t know what you are referring to. Propose you read the posts before responding to what was actually not posted.

21 Nov 2016 18:45:32
Jezza those were his 3rd and 4th goals for Milan in the Serie A this season.

{Ed002's Note - This has been addressed before and you can search - but things have changed in recent years and it is far better than it was. And this is the Liverpool page, perhaps the European page would be better.}

We had an off day and there were chances to win the game but I'm glad we managed to keep a clean sheet. I was often worried about what would happen in those games where we just couldn't score? Well being able to not concede certainly helps in those games.

A point on the road in a hostile environment is globally, not a bad result. At least, it wasn't a snooze fest like the Bunley game where we were awful and created next to nothing.

21 Nov 2016 08:23:34
But I think it was a bad result because:
1. Liverpool are top or were top and we're playing really well

2. klopp should have rotated

3. most importantly, lfc dominated the game and had chances to win.

The games where it's (ok) to have a draw is when Liverpool are terrible and taking a draw is better than a loss.

21 Nov 2016 11:08:32
I'd rather we played well and draw the game than badly and draw.

Sometimes it just doesn't fall for you, and better we bank the point and move on than play badly and start to question ourselves.
