Hi edd, what's the maximum amount of loan players you can have? I remember somebody saying 2 but fulham seemed to have a good few loaned players last year. Thanks {Ed002's Note - Four over a season, two at anyone time, no more than one from a club - unless they are on a loan to buy deal. There are one or two nuances regarding goalkeepers - but this is the basic summary.}

Transfer window is almost open and hopefully new players will be arriving, maybe some sold or loaned as well.

For me I'd like to see a combination of two of the three arriving.

E. Banega.
A. Yarmalenko.
C. Grenier.

All would provide more threat for us. In terms of departures possibly Coates. If a big bid is made Skrtle could still leave. Apart from that I could only see loans i.e. Flannaghan maybe Allen? {Ed002's Note - You might have a long wait.}

Not exactly Liverpool related, but anyway. Ribery, despite his ability as a player, is arrogant. Messi, and especially Ronaldo have outshone him yet again. I see no reason why he deserves this award any more than Luis Suarez. Last season, Ribery scored 5 and got 11 assists in all competitions. Suarez scored 30 and got at least 5 assists. Before anyone says 'But Ribery won the treble with Bayern!', let's first think about this argument. Ribery did indeed win the treble with Bayern Munich. To win the treble, you have to have an immensely talented squad. This means that Ribery will have good passes being played to him, and lots of crosses being converted by quality strikers like Mandzukic. As a Liverpool fan who watches every game week in week out, I can tell you our midfield is inadequate; the only two players who can consistently supply him are Gerrard with the odd cross or free kick, and Daniel Sturridge, who only joined in January. Suarez also missed the last four games of 2012/13 due to his antics, and considering the form he was (and is) in, who knows how many he would have scored in that time? My point isn’t that Suarez should win the Ballon d’Or, my point is that if Ribery shouldn’t.

Luis Suarez is miles better than Ribery. any day. any format. any league.
he would never get anything. because of his karma.
I would have given him an award of being not injured whis whole life.

Its not a team award. Its an individual award. I suppose based on your performances trough out the year. So 11 goals and 5 assists should not win it when you conpare Messi or Ronaldo.

Yeah he never seems to get injured does he? Brilliant finishing, good in the air, strong, skilful, good set pieces and passing, two footed and a great work rate. The boy has it all.

eds do you think that young jordan rossiter could fill the midfield gap when Stevie retires in a few years, I am not a scout or anything but he stands out for me as a class act. maybe a bit young as he looks about 8 but he is very good and not getting shown up for the under21s big boots to fill but this kid looks like he could do it. {Ed001's Note - he is not Stevie, but he has every chance of being a top class midfielder in his own right.}

Jordan is more like lucas a holding midfielder.but you are right ray jordan is a real talent

He reminds me of Daniele De Rossi, have no idea why apart from the play in the same position.

i think we are 5 players short for a ideal squad.
left back cissokho not the answer.
winger unless moses will stay.
midfielder we wanted mickey in summer so I think BR still wants a midfielder.
striker unless borini will return.
back up goalie jones not good enough.
i hope we buy a left defender in januari even if we need to spend big money.
same goes for the other positions in summer, we spend 22mil on illori/aspas/alberto.
illori/alberto both have quality but need time.
suarez and sturidge are right up there with the best but the quality gap to aspas is too big.
left defender with attacking skills will get us top 4, the team is doing well but from the left we are weak.
enrique has pace but no final ball, and cissokho is clearly not suited for our system.
