The truth hurts Paul. Well all i can say is that no player is bigger than the club. . Not Mcmanaman, Not Owen, Not Alonso, Not Mascherano, Not Torres and not even Pepe even tho he is the best keeper in the world, but not good for us if he causes unrest.

04 Mar 2011 23:47:47
What happened to Chris Mavinga? (loaned to Genk?) He's a fantastic talent. Isn't he able to step up to the plate as left back?

04 Mar 2011 23:42:27
{Ed001's Note - just because he has said he loves Liverpool doesn't mean he is going to join us, for starters we would have to be willing to pay the ridiculous amount he would cost for a left back who can't defend.}

we were willing to pay a ridiculous amount for a right back who couldnt defend. ha
i think as long as we have johnson we won't sign another attacking defender. but i would be happy to swap johnson for coentrao. but for the money it would cost i am sure there are much better options for left back.

Ed, im refering to an earlier post about someone posting jokes he got off some kinda scum site. Why on God's green earth would you post that? Some of those arent even football related and are a direct attack at the people from the city of liverpool! Im probably getting worked up for nothing but i hate posts like that. I love reading people's football opinions, not things like that.
Red bl00ded! {Ed001's Note - I haven't seen them sorry, I was on the phone, I will have a look now and remove any offensive ones.}

Why don't you two manc t**t's jog on back to your own site instead of coming on here talking s**te about pepe, telling him to clear off and hand in a transfer request, pepe will still be a liverpool player next season and many more after that.
paul {Ed001's Note - it was one person posting twice mate.}

04 Mar 2011 22:23:58
If Pepe wants to go then let him! The reason that we are in this mess is because of players like him that are not fully committed to the cause. . go and get your money pepe. . your welcome to it!

04 Mar 2011 22:24:47
Be a man pepe and put in a transfer request instead of causing unrest you spineless tw*t!

Connor wickham will be a liverpool player next year , he has a buy out clause of £15 million which ipswich put in when he signed his new contract in january.
it is a 2 horse race between us and tottenham , and the self confessed liverpool fan has said he will walk to anfield to secure a move.

I canno see Benzema joining Liverpool in the summe. .he will stay at madrid. he is getting a game and scoring now.

Sorry to appear negative but am not enthused that much with the players we constantly being linked with - Adam, Enrique and Young are massively overrated in my opinion. Adam has only Haf half a season inthe premiership, Young hasnt done anything for 12 months and his final ball is unreliable and I just don't understand the fuss around Enrique, apart from a couple of half decent crosses on MOTD.

I like M'Villa a lot though. We defo need a new left back, I would go for Baines personally. I also really like Mata, Martinez and Rodwell. I haven't seem enough of Turan to have an opinion but think N'Zogbia is as good as Young, and probably cheaper.

I would go for Lloris if Pepe goes, with Neuer, Robinson, Loach and Joe Kewis as back up options.

Ed, am I alone I'm my thoughts? {Ed001's Note - I trust in Kenny's judegement over my own but I have to say I wouldn't pick the players he is choosing if it was up to me.}

Well the timing would be no surprise, the day before we play United, it's just that it normally appears in the Mirror!

i always wondered what his role at the club was. Newspapers reported him as an Assistant manager. So who is the Assistant? {Ed001's Note - Sammy Lee is still ass. man.}

ED better be careful with comments like this as people may get the wrong idea about Sammy Lee

I really think they will line up like this for the man utd game. O'shea pushed into the centre and Rafael back in the team. Giggs has been rested for a while so he will play. As for liverpool. I think Kyrogiakos will be starting in centre. Liverpool will go back to a 4 at the back.

We are going to find it difficult

I think if Agger is not fit then there will be zero chance of playing 3-5-2. Mind you with kelly out i don't think that's an issue in any case as you cannot play Carra as RWB and the void on the left hand side puts paid to swapping Johnson.

Reina, Agger, Srktel, Carra, Johnson, Lucas, Meireles, Gerrard, Kuyt, Suarez and anyone of Cole/ Jovanovic/ Aurelio/ Maxi for the left side berth

Mind you Dalglish could throw a right curveball and whoop in Carroll, but i cannot see him starting even if he is available.

4-2-3-1

I actually think of it slightly different Bob. I reckon if Agger isn't fit then we have to go with the 3 centre backs. I just don't see how our back 4 would cope especially with Kelly & Agger out. I personally would play Wilson on the left (not ideal) & obviously Johnson on the right with Carra, Skertel & Soto (again not ideal) as the 3 center halves. Also i think it would be better to absolve Gerrard & Meireles of all defensive duties in your 4-2-3-1 formation as i think Lucas would end up doing the defending pretty much himself. i would play 5-1-2-1-1 with Suarez in behind Kuyt & Gerrard & Meireles in the middle with the wing backs pushing on where possible without leaving us abandoned at the back.The main thing is that we can't be waiting for Utd to attack & hope we can contain them. We have to be on the front foot & let them do the defending, which will take the pressure of our poor back 3 centre halves. Anyway, here's hoping for a good performance & a great result on Sunday.

{Ed002's Note - Not impressed with Steve Clarke then?}

Steve Clarke is not the assistant manager, he's the first team coach. Am surprised you didn't know that and yes Steve Clarke has impressed me greatly.

{Ed002's Note - point taken but I consider them all coaches nowadays.}

04 Mar 2011 16:56:14
Ed, i love kk and steve clark but with someone like phil thompson coaching the players, surely the young players coming through i.e suso etc will learn and become a better player under thompson than sammy lee. Would you agree Ed? {Ed001's Note - no, Thommo was not a particularly good youth coach.}

I am getting really fu**ed off with all the media and journos doing all they can to turn our players heads to other clubs they helped get rid of torres they tried to get rid of gerrard countless times and now its pepes turn.
I have no problem if a player wants to leave we have got rid of good players before and we will do it again but we don't need t**ts like that helping to make that decision

04 Mar 2011 16:11:57
Ed, do you know what centre backs we are interested in and could you please tell me when sammy lee is getting the sack. he is as poor a coach you can get. {Ed001's Note - no, I am not sure what defenders we are after right now, other than maintaining an interest in Richards, which, apparently, could be revived in the summer. As for Lee, I have absolutely no idea why he is still there, I would expect him to leave in the summer though.}

I think every knowledgeable fan knows he's clearly a poor coach.

On a lighter note who would you like as assistant manager, I would like Roy Evans as first choice and if he didn't want to come then get Phil Thomson. Both have a deep passion for the club which we need.

{Ed002's Note - Not impressed with Steve Clarke then?}

I think this is prob our best team for the weekend against Man utd. we will lose by 2 goals

- - - - - -

How on earth could that possibly be our best team. You've left out Agger, Aurelio and Carroll (who are all likely to be available) and you're incredibly pessimistic. With Smalling and Brown at the back I feel that we're guaranteed 2 goals at the very least.
I fancy a 2-1 win.

04 Mar 2011 16:22:17
Just an idea concerning the "new" stadium. We are all agreed that the current anfield is too small to generate the kind of money the club would like to make on match days, and i think we would all also agree that anfield is a special football stadium with a unique atmosphere. . .Why not build a "scaled up" 65000 seater version of the current anfield on the site of the new stadium. anyone agree or disagree

{Ed002's Note - It is a case of money - nothing else. If there is a way to expand the existing stadium to bring in additional revenue then that is far mare likely.}

"Today here is a quick list of who we are 'looking' to buy. The word 'looking' can also be described as 'bidding', 'actively chasing', 'desperately wants'.

In no particular order:-

Gago 15M, Canales 12M, Lavezzi 20M, Mushacchio 10M, Dzsudzsak 13M, Chamberlain 10M, Wickham 15M, Coentrao 25M, JA Riise free transfer, Honda 13M, Young 18M and Adam 14M.

The Ed's day in, day out, hour in, hour out have to go through swarms of posts asking for their opinion on 'we will buy gago, i don't think we should, what do you think. .'. Please give them a break from asking about banal transfer tittle tattle that has as much credence as an american walking on the moon?

If you find yourself so sucked in by anything, give us your address and i'll set up a stall on your drive selling vodka using battery acid as the main ingredient.

"That's all well and good but do you think we'll buy Pjanic?"

I don't think we'll buy pjanic, but if it ends up like January, we might pjanic-buy.

Im gonna predict it says that he wants to challange for top honours and that is the dream of every player. He loves LFC and the fans but wants to win trophies and will assess his situation in the summer. Pretty much standard interview by any player these days. I may be wrong though.

So i went by a man utd forum and look at the stuff these boy's are writing about us before weekend man utd game. Their making jokes about Liverpool fans

Q: What ship will never dock in liverpool's port?
A: Premiership

Q: How many Liverpool fans does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Yeah, as if they have electricity in Liverpool. .

Q: What's is the differance between Pamela Anderson and the Liverpool goal?
A: Pam's only got two t1ts in front of her

Q: Santa Claus, the tooth f.airy, an intelligent Liverpool supporter and an old drunk are walking down the street together when simultaneously they each spot a fifty quid note. Who gets it?
A: The old drunk, of course - the other 3 are mythical creatures.

Q: What do Pool Fans and sperm have in common?
A: One in 2,000,000 has a chance of becoming a human being.

Q: What do you get if you cross a Liverpol fan with a pig?
A: Thick bacon. .

Q: What do you get if you cross a Monkey with a Liverpudlian?
A: Nothing. The monkeys are far too clever to screw a Liverpudlian.

Hi ed,
what do you think of croatian darijo srna? ?hes around a while but hes still an unbelievable player? do you think he would fit in at liverpool? {Ed001's Note - he is a good player, but not one we really need, we already have Kelly, Johnson and Flanagan at right back. Srna is not good enough in midfield to be anymore than cover there.}

I don't beleive the owners would be looking to bid on ant player before the end of the season.

Chelsea are different matter part of the reason Torres joined them was on the back of promises of other signings to made, they are trying to make good on these before other clubs come in for them.

Two boys are playing football on a park in London. Suddenly a dog appears and sinks its teeth into the younger boy's chest. The elder picks up stick and drives it through the dog's heart, killing it.
A reporter observes all of this and asks the boy if he can write a story on it. He takes out a notebook and puts down the title
"ARSENAL FAN SAVES FRIEND'S LIFE"
The boy says "I don't support Arsenal". so the reporter puts down
"LIVERPOOL FAN SAVES FRIEND'S LIFE"
The boy says "I don't support Liverpool", so the reporter asks "Who do you support?", and the boy replies "Man U". So, the reporter writes down

Beckham, Keane and Ferguson are all trapped on the roof of a burning building. The Fire Brigade duly arrive and hold out the big blanket for the guys to jump onto.

They are understandably all a bit nervous but, being a brave lad and the club captain, Keane goes first. At the last second, the firemen whip the blanket away. Keane splats on the pavement, dead. Still giggling, the firemen shout to Ferguson to go next. He jumps, they move the blanket, he makes a pancake on the pavemant, high fives all around from the firemen. Last to go is Beckham. But he's not having any of it. .

"You'll move the blanket" he shouts.
"No we won't" they reply. "It's no good, I don't trust you. You'll move the blanket again" shouts Becks.
"Come on, jump you fool" they shout.
"Well, alright" he replies. "But I'm not jumping until you put the blanket down and move away from it.

An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman were exploring deepest, darkest Africa when they came across a huge river. They were just wondering how they would get across when a leprechaun appeared on the riverbank.
"If you can get across this river without being eaten by the crocodiles" he said, "I'll give you my pot of gold. .".
"No problem" says the Englishman. He gets halfway across before being swallowed by an enormous crocodile.
The Scotsman goes next but almost as soon as he touches the water, a croc. gets him. Finally it's the Irishman's turn. Before diving in, he gets out a permanent marker and writes "MANCHESTER UNITED FOR THE LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE, 2010-11" on his shirt. He then dives in and swims all the way across, no problem.
"That's amazing" says the leprechaun, "How on earth did writing "MANCHESTER UNITED FOR THE LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE, 2010-11" stop the crocodiles from eating you?"
"Well", says the Irishman, "MANCHESTER UNITED FOR THE LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE, 2010-11? Not even a crocodile can swallow that!

An Arsenal fan, an Liverpool fan and a United fan came across a nude, dead woman in the street. They called the police and then, for decency, decided to cover her up. The Arsenal fan put his cap over one breast, the Liverpool fan put his cap over the other, and the United fan put his cap "down below".When the police arrived they needed to examine the body. The policeman lifted the Arsenal cap and looked at one breast, then he lifted the Liverpool cap and examined the other. He then walked away from the body.The Arsenal fan said: "Aren't you going to examine "down below?" "Nope", The copper replied, "I already know that under every united cap is a c**t!"

A Leeds fan, an Arsenal fan and a Manchester united fan escape from prison. They ran for miles until they came upon an old barn where they decided to hide in the hayloft and rest. When they climbed up, they found three large sacks and decided to climb into them for camouflage.

About an hour later two police officers came into the barn. The sergeant told the constable to go up and check out the hayloft. When he got up there the sergeant asked him what he saw and the constable yelled back, "Just 3 sacks."

The sergeant told him to find out what was in them, so the constable kicked the first sack, which had the Leeds fan in it. He went, "Woof", so the constable told the sergeant there was a dog in it.

Then he kicked the sack with the Arsenal fan in it. He went, "Meow", so he told him there was a cat in it.

Then he kicked the one with the scum fan in it, and there was no sound at all. So he kicked 6 more times, and finally the scum fan said, "Potatoes".

I am worried that barca will come in for reina in the summer, if so he will be off. I cannot see him joining any other prem club. What are your opinions on this ed?

I'm not a pessimistic fan but I can't see us getting sanchez. As much as I would like us to champions league football is going to be the incentive for a player of his calibre, something we can't offer at the moment. We definatly need reinforcing on the wings, I for one would be happy with payet and young, if you can rewind a year when MON was in charge of young, he was the in demand winger in the premiership, with a player of the year nomination before villa went stale, at his price he would be a asset to the team. Notice how king k and MON are both man management coaches, I'm sure he would get the vests out of him. Give me a winger with pace and quality for 10 to 12 mil who could slot straight in without adapting and I will eat my hat. Dont cite turan, I rate him but to go with two foreign wingers would be risky. Also cm needs reinforcing, babe or martinez would do nicely. Maybe baines if possible or Enrique as last resort for lb. A couple of squad players and a shifting of deadwood is required too. I have faith that kenny will buy the right players for the right fit to complement our blossoming starlets. I don't think cb us rwquired, ayala gas been terrific at both hull and Derby. The futures bright my friend, maybe a marquee signing as well. What do you reckon ed, some may not value your opinion but I for sure do

Bleeding red

{Ed006's Note - All good points. I think we are also going to be signing Sylvain Marveaux aswell. I would like to see Adam for CM and Baines would be a class addition for LB, that is not likely to happen though.}

Angel: Guys we are pretty busy up here at the moment, so I'll give you a second chance back on earth. But if you sin just once then you will be damned to hell. Are you OK with this deal.

Manc, Geordie, Cockney: YES, THANKS!

Back on earth the 3 guys were walking down the street when the Geordie saw a crate of beer on the floor. He couldn't help himself and bent over to pick it up, and in a flash POOF he was gone and damned to hell.

The Manc and Cockney were left and they carried on walking down the street determined not to sin.

The Cockney saw a wallet on the floor and immediately bent over to pick it up. And as he bent over POOF the Cockney and Manc disappeared and damned to the depth of Hell.

Do you get it??

Hey ed, I posted the cristico comment, fair does he may have no link but who do you think liverpool will sign as LB? And who would you like to see? Cheers Stevie D

ED if you where to rate the chances of Andy Carroll playing on Sunday out of 10 what would it be ?

{Ed002's Note - You really need to ask the Liverpool medical and coaching staff rather than me. I think there is a good chance of an appearance from the bench. So, if pushed, 6.29 out of 10.}

When you're bored you'll end up doing the most mundane of activities just to pass the time of day. I find myself in this very position today so after reading all these "Hey Ed i notice we're linked with so and so what do you think?" posts i decided to trudge through the daily pile of rubbish from the various outlets of the media.

After nearly poking my eye out with rusty 9" nail a couple of times, you realise the amount of utter garbage that is printed. It then dawns on you how utterly naive the readers of these stories are.

There are obviously too many people who will believe what they read. Perhaps i'm starting to show my age and with the passing of time a more mature and wise Bob develops? Perhaps had i had access to this kind of "information" twenty years ago would I have believed everything i read?

Today here is a quick list of who we are 'looking' to buy.

Bob the Red {Ed002's Note - The great protector Bob. Even after busting me the other day!}

Ed, do you think that insua could grow and be more suited into a left wing back position as if anything else he does deliver a good cross? {Ed001's Note - unfortunately he is more likely to grow outwards than anything else. He doesn't really have the pace or the trickery to play a more forward role.}

Happy birthday Kenny

Alright ed, how r you? I've been told a rumour which has been on the rumour page already. Me mates mum works for the F.A and she said we have been watchin taarabt ( sorry about spelling ) what do u think of him?

Dan The Man {Ed001's Note - he is far too lazy for my liking but Comolli loves him, he does have great technical ability but far too much attitude with it.}

I have seen him play alot and fair to say he reacts very very well to a strong manager.He does have an atitude but he also has unbelievable ability , he is both footed excellent passer and crosser.Gerets (moroccan manager) dropped him because of his attitude then when he put in the hard work in training he started him in the last game, he was unbelievable .If we sign him i believe Liverpool are much bigger then him so would dwarf his ego and KK could easily manage him into one of the best players in the EPL

04 Mar 2011 12:24:39
Ed, there is probably a consensus amongst most of us that we need the following reinforcements:
(1) left back,
(2) third striker
(3) pacey left winger
(4) pacey right winger
(5) An Alonso replacement, and
(6) a commanding centre half (who unlike Skrtel does not get bullied off the ball and unlike Agger is not injury prone).

KK will want to sign near enough dead certs for these positions. These don't come cheap and we will not therefore be able to address all these issues in one summer. KK will need therefore to prioritise. IMO the three priorities are as follows. 1. A lefts winger who can play as a third striker (Lavezzi fits the bill) 2. A left back (although Johnson can play there he can fill in at right midfielder next season) (3). An Alonso replacement (Banega or Javi Martinez would be great). Reality Red

What about Sergio Basquets? His only 22 and is pure class IMO. What do you think ed?

{Ed002's Note - But not on the cards for Liverpool I am afraid.}

04 Mar 2011 11:45:15
Liverpool fc need wingers to change their fortunes, now Carroll is here so Liverpool must buy two quality young wingers to start their rebuilding process. For me Ashly young would be ideal & Arda Turan.
dono why some people don't like Young, he can do hell lot better then Kuyt & Joe cole. but there can be one condition where Liverpool must forget young & that is if his price is 1 penny more than 15 million pounds.

Speaking of Insua, where is he ed? I recall a while back the Gala manager saying he does not want any loan players in the squad. Did he follow through with this? If so, should Insua not have come back to us?

DownUnderRed.

{Ed002's Note - He is registered with the FA as an EPL player for the rest of the season.}

Hi Ed, According to the Liverpool website, Insua is still on loan at Galatasaray.

Galatasaray's Website also includes Insua as a member of their first team.

Not sure why Insua would be registered as a Liverpool player on that basis. Not saying he isn't, but it doesn't make sense really. {Ed001's Note - it was a year long loan he went on, he was probably just registered just in case Gala did go through with their threat to return him.}

4 Mar 2011 11:22:46 Hi Ed i think you are so overated and probably retarded, i agree with the chef that liverpool may have put a bid in for sanchez and how can you or Rewflo(idiot) say we havent, mean you all got it right when we mean you all got it right when we signed meriles didn't you not, al you talk about is hazard, taiwo you talk about is hazard, taiwo, m'villa, de-guizman and others but know one has heard of these players never mind seen them and I do keep an eye on europe myself. Big Al YNWA m'villa, de-guizman and others but know one has heard of these players never mind seen them and I players never mind seen them and I do keep an eye on europe myself Big Al YNWA
- - - - -
Bit harsh, can't really call someone a regard just because they have a diff opinion than you.
Noone heard of Henry when arsenal signed him and those had thought he was rubbish thanks to his abysmal season. Noone heard of zidane when juve signed him, or ronaldo when psv signed him.
However plenty of people heard of maccarone when borough signed him, rebrov when spurs signed him. Status does not equal talent.

Rewflo {Ed001's Note - I wouldn't worry about Rewflo, the guy clearly has not got a clue and just spouting nonsense to try and look clever. Abusive people tend to be less intelligent, that is why they use abuse to reply.}

We need a left footed right winger who can cut in from the wings
OPTIONS:
Adam Johnson fits the bill but very unlikely!
N'Zogbia:not in good terms with Carroll!
Ben Arfa:injury-prone and has attitude problems!
Remaining ones:
Downing
Honda
Ryad Boudebouz
Andres Guardado
Vela:out of favour at Arsenal!
Giovanni Dos Santos

NO mention of HULK? Hes the best left footed right winger IMO ;D

Thats not entirely true. Ravanelli banged 30 goals in a relegated borough team, vialli did pretty good at chelsea. I agree that they have a poor success ratio but judge the player individually. Criscito is not spectacular but would be cheap and solid addition and certainly better than current options. He was one of the very few Italy players to escape wc with some credibility

With our current tactic of 3 centre halves and two wing backs failing miserably against West Ham last week do you think KK will stick with this formation? Aurelio could slot in as LWB and Johnson as RWB, but i think we need to pack the midfield this week against the scum. I would not risk Carrol either, i'd expect him to come on and play around 30 mins in the 2nd half. If i had the choice this would be my team.

4-5-1
Reina, Johnson, Aurelio, Carragher, Skrtel, Lucas, Gerrard, Merieles, Kuyt, Maxi, Suarez.

I would be suprised if he plays a 4-4-2 or 3-2-3-2

My predicition is 1-1 and United to get a jammy goal.

Vargas and Podolski havnt played as RWM or RF at any point of their careers but can be developed.

Ed what do you think? Also strike off the bad ones in the list!

{Ed002's Note - Adam Johnson would be the ideal option if available. Honda is the only other player on your list that seems possible at this time.}

Thanks, that was fast! Can Glen Johnson do a decent job there given we buy a new LB in the summer and Kelly sticks to his RB position?

{Ed002's Note - Yep, I think Johnson is an option. If it were my decision I would look to a dedicated player for that position - Dmitri Payet, who will be available.}

Ok, if Payet comes in(hopefully since Comolli has worked at St. Etienne), what should we do with Glen Johnson? He won't be happy as a squad player! I have always wondered why he plays as RB despite his strong left foot! Cant remember any other RB of his ilk!

Also, some other guys with a sweet left foot which came to my mind:
Lewis Holtby:Mainz are on the fall and has English connection!
Griezmann
Gervinho
Elia
Mata
Rossi:would be damn expensive!
Dzsudzsak
Bryan Ruiz
Luuk de Jong
Hulk:can also play as targetman!

Ed, still with Payet?

{Ed002's Note - I apologise, I gave sensible and practical response. Clearly you are playing fantasy football.}

This Formation assuming Carroll won't be fit enough to start & Agger is out. Let's be honest! Who else do we have? Keep Cole, Jova, Pacheco & Carroll ( if fit enough) on the bench & hope for the best, a few refereeing decisions to go our way, a lot of passion & you just never know! It might go our way. I
really hope Carroll is fit even for the bench for the last 30 mins if we are looking a goal.

I'm just mulling over who I might move to in the summer. There seems to be a lot of interest from all the major teams in europe, but I'm definitely going to England. Man utd have stated their interest and Chelsea have made a large bid already. But I'm hoping to move to Liverpool because they might just squeeze into the europa league next season, will offer me less wages and probably not make a bid at all. Sounds pefect to me. See you all soon.

We wouldn't want you mate if you're a pay cheque player, Man U can not afford you as their skint and Chelsea have no history, both of them have VERY old squads so with our new owners and the new financial rules our future is brighter than both of them. Good luck, you will certainly need it. See you soon

RE:Liverpool this weekend

They have hit the wall. The king Kenny effect has finished. The players are back to normal training and the Goals have dried up since Torres left. Liverpool have been playing 6 defenders since defeat at Blackpool, Remember they lost to teams like Blackpool, wolves and west-ham.

Injury list.
Liverpool 5 M Kelly Hamstring Injury no return date
F Aurelio Hip/ Thigh Injury no return date
D Agger Thigh Muscle Strain no return date
J Shelvey Knee Injury May 11
A Carroll Thigh Muscle Strain no return date

Have you seen Liverpool injury list. Konchesky slagged off the fans and has been loaned out to Nottingham forest, insua gone. Liverpool are short of fullbacks with Kelly and Aurelio injured. Agger's out and we bought a injured Andy Carrol.

The 3-5-1-1 can't be played against man utd meaning Liverpool are short on players and ideas. Gerrard is also playing poorly, Luis Suarez is not game fit and seems a bit too weak for the premiership. Carra is too slow at the back and will let at least one goal in against man utd.

The formation will have to be a 442 against man utd.

J. Reina
G. Johnson (Johnson causes most of Liverpool defensive mistakes)
D. Wilson (make shift lbk weak he will be nani bitch for the game)
J. Carragher (cant pass and is too slow, allows runner in behind. So the team will play deeper, nani will love that easier to attack lfc)
M. krtel
Maxi LW (weak defensively.
Lucas CM
S. Gerrard (CM Weak in the Centre, leaves holes
D. Kuyt (RW
Raul Meireles (meiresles has been playing as a AM recently might get a goal)
L. Suarez ( too weak to play upfront by his-self. )

Now what makes u think Liverpool will win? Nani will be unmarkable at anfield plus manutd are still soild at the back with chris smalling. You know nothing about football and your copying crap from paddypower you idiot.Please do some research before you post stupid bets.

Likely Rooney Goal by a Giggs assist. Target a weak makeshilf lbk in Wilson. Prob use both Nani and giggs on one side. I don't see liverpool scoring in open play because the formation and player changes. Cornr or
Freekick and Gerrard might score because he is captain.

Best result for liverpool would be 0-0 and Steve clark will be planning on a 0-0 job. Working on shutting out Nani. Man utd look poor once nani is frozen out of the game and most of man utd games have been low scoring.

man utd have three fit strikers for Sundays game. Rooney who is coming back into form, Berbatov who has been playing well and hernandez
