Wonder if we will see if Waro has the team for tomorrow from his 'source' now that Damian isn't leaking the team anymore.

Waro gets it wrong 9/10 anyway! Pure guess work!

06 Dec 2015 00:14:01
Weird that, got it right the last 3 fixtures I checked, even when we started without a striker at Chelsea and everyone dongled him.

Agree3 Disagree3

06 Dec 2015 06:32:35
No idea who he is lads, but clearly passing on anything I'm told which admittedly isn't always spot on is wasted on some people who are aching for it to be wrong, so in future I will not bother, that way I can't be portrayed as a lier.

Agree4 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - sadly Waro that is life, people are pricks who haven't the balls to put their own necks on the line but are happy to criticise others. Yes firmino11 I am talking about you and MrYoxall. Waro has been putting a teamsheet up long before anyone had heard of this 'Damian' character.}

06 Dec 2015 06:54:05
Lots of ungrateful p****s on this thread i can tell.

Agree5 Disagree0

06 Dec 2015 09:24:24
AA you obviously didn't check Waro got one of the last 3 wrong, no need to lie.

Ed001 I have been rpetty regular to this site for 4/5 years. I've only started seeing Waro post team sheets regularly, we had some guy doing it last year pretending to be itk too.

Damian has been putting out the LFC teams for 4 years, which is much longer than I have seen any one on here putting out teamsheets tbh. Even then he's getting his info from another source on twitter who he accidentally re tweeted, and quickly deleted

It's no hate on Waro but for me looking at the evidence of what I;ve seen over 4 years, I think it's all just re hash of what some one ) probably on another forum posts)
waro hasn't posted a teamsheet today/lastnight, and damian said he wouldn't do it any more. they both got the same player wrong, and Waro for my mind hasn't been doing this for 4 years.
Even then when the so called ITK's got it right they simply looked at the bibs in training as BR was stupid enough to give the 1st team orange bibs and LFC posted it on facebook.

Simply by the evidence I don't think any one i in the know and either they're all getting it from the same source on the web or same informant, then copy pasting.

Like I say this isn't hate on Waro, just the evidence leads me to draw that conclusion.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Dec 2015 10:06:51
Bobatron and anyone else who is interested, I don't claim to be ITK, I have two mates who now and again txt me info, one who gave me the team the day in advance sometimes when Kenny was in charge ( and I've been posting it on here on and off since then, feel free to check that out via archive) but very rarely does now, and another who only this season has been getting the team in advance, he sent me the team before the saints game and I was reluctant to post it because as I said at the time I was a little shocked by it so didn't post it. ( feel free to check that aswell bob)

Was it the bibs or this Damien fella that gave me the info that sturridge was injured in training before the spurs game? Again feel free to check my post from then, info that I was given stick for but was proven to be accurate!

The eds have personal info from my registration to this site, I don't know how it works but if they have the time could you use that ed001 or 002 to check if I have a twitter or Facebook account? I have said this before and will say it again, I have never been on either of these sites in my life. They are for sad people with no real life IMO, apologies if that offends anyone.

I post what I get because there maybe some people who would like to hear it and for no other reason, why would I want to impress anyone on here who I've never met and will never meet?

This will be my last post on this subject and I hope this sheds some light on the truth of why I post now and again bob and Co, but I'm sure I've just wasted 10 minutes of my break at work replying to this thread because your habit of always wanting to be correct bob will no doubt cloud your thinking and stop you taking what someone is saying at face value, maybe to many years talking to bullshitters bob on Facebook maybe😜.

Ok Waro I apologise for coming off as a complete tit, but maybe your source who texts you is getting his info off Twitter. As for Ed, like has been posted before Damian has been posting for a long time, not just the last few weeks/ moths you've heard of him.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I don't care how long he has been posting, you are just making yourself look even more of a tit now.}

He puts the team up. It could be right, it could be wrong but so what. What difference does it really make to anything? You might get the team a few hours earlier, big deal?
With respect to Waro, he got the last Sturridge injury before anyone else as far as I'm aware. That was impressive enough for me.

The moaner in chief has struck again and he wonders why his team can't even draw a game. I guess Bournmouth must have watched our game vs Chelsea two years ago where Maureen's players were doing the exact same thing. At least, Bournmouth did it late in the game. His team did it at Anfield from the first whistle.

It is starting to make Rodgers look like even more of a Mourinho prodigy; Chelsea's setup and tactics are soooo negative; I do think Mourinho is a great manager but I think his arrogance and unwillingness to change is going to cost him his job. Hey eds01, do u think that ward would perhaps benefit a lot from having a year as the no1 for an EPL side, before he is truly ready to take the no 1 jersey?
If yes, then is there any chance of striking a deal with Bournemouth in the January window or next season ( if they stay up) because presently none of their keepers even seem to be decent.

Thanks and keep up the good work. :-D.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - and why would we want to send him out on loan to them? We need a keeper in the summer, if he is ready for the Prem, then we should be the ones to put him in.}

06 Dec 2015 08:55:21
The keeper situation is confusing. Everyone calling for Mignolet's head, but Klopp seemingly backing him up. When you say Liverpool needs a keeper in the summer, would that primarily be a replacement for Mignolet or Bogdan, and is it purely your opinion or based on rumours/facts (as in, do you "know" Liverpool are actively looking for a new keeper? )?

I do try to read the site daily, so I'm sorry if I just made a "RTFP"-worthy question.

Personally, I think Ward seems exciting, and it is kinda odd that we had to splash out on Bogdan when both Ward and Vigoroux seem like very capable backups. Loaning one and keeping one as reserve/cup/challenger would seem more sensible to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Klopp is hardly going to say Migs is crap. Ward has a chance to be the number one based on his performances this season. It is up to him. The club are looking at other keepers.}

05 Dec 2015 17:25:33
Well then, spurs, united, southampton, city and west ham all dropped points, arsenal showing signs of weakness again.

And tomorrow we go to the team that has arguably been the worst this season, have no fight and we need to win to capitalise on the failings of other teams.

Coming off the back of a 6-1 win against a good side, everyone is expecting us to win. Except we probably wont.

The amount of times liverpool have been in this situation and the amount of times they have cocked up is unimaginable.

A game where we are in sparkling form, other teams have dropped points, we need to win, and the opposition is dire. And there is literally no logical or feasable reason why we should not win.

Two seasons ago, the same game
We were in great form, started off the season well, went away to newcastle and everyone thought we would certainly win. 2-2 draw.

Last season, at home to bottom of the league leicester, we were looking to get back on track, other teams had dropped points. 2-2 draw.

Honestly the arrogance of us fans going into these games time and again comes back to bite us on the arse. I am expecting us to not win because there is no logical reason that we shouldnt. It seems to be a trait of ours.

Newcastle have to turn a corner at some point and i bet it will be against us. Treat them with some respect.

However, if klopp actually does get a win here, it will show how far we have come, and maybe many of us will turn from doubters into believers.

Believable17 Unbelievable9

05 Dec 2015 17:37:13

We were presented with the same opp last week vs Swansea and we took it albeit only just and here are again this week. Klopp has already put the players on guard in his pressed so I expect the boys to be fully concentrated on the task. Newcastle are a bad team and if you play vs a bad team, you should be professional in your perf, handle your business and job done if you indeed consider yourself a good team. Klopp will get them ready so not too worried.

I agree with you post. Summer is the best time to do some tweaking. All we need is two to three very good signings for the first team at the areas where we are weak and we'll be good to go. I think Joe Allan should stick around. He has the energy and desire to succeed (that's very Brendan of me lol) he is a decent baller who understands its a squad game and he would give his all when called upon. With only 18 months left on his contract how would people feel if he was offered a new deal? I think he should get one.

With regards to Mingolet, I'd keep him too. Hasn't put a foot wrong under Klopp and also had more clean sheets in 2015 than any other keeper. Great shotstopper who had no confidence under Rodgers. Since Klopp has come in Mingolet seems to be more confidant and seems to be talking to the defenders in front of him. Most goals conceeded under Klopp have been from dead ball situation. The defence had to take some of the responsibility for the goals conceeded too with some terrible situations they left the keeper in. Would you replace or stick with what you got?
Just my opinion.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

05 Dec 2015 13:33:31
I think the first question should be "do we need a central midfielder better than we have currently got? "; if so we replace with the weakist link - which regardless of a couple of decent games is Joe Allen.

The same applies for Mignolet; I think Grobs called it correctly when he said Shot stopping is a given for a goalkeeper and they should have other attributes (that Mignolet does not posses) .

The two points above rely on their being fund available - i'd sell Allen a. s. a. p. and let Rossiter and Chilvera have some first team football.

Agree8 Disagree2

05 Dec 2015 13:40:12
Allen just is not good enough plain and simple.
He doesn't show for possession.
He isn't strong in the teckle (infact I'd say he's very weak)
Not good at defending set pieces
Not good going forward (not even close)
Defensively he's not the most aware of his positioning to play deep.
He isn't strong on the ball
He doesn't have a good passing range
He can't play fast tempo 1 touch passing football in the final 3rd
He can't shoot

I really just don't see what he offers us going forward in this squad and the type of football we are playing, he's so far behind our first choice 3 mids in Can Lucas and Henderson, and I don't see him as better than Milner, or what he offers that some youth player couldn't fulfil if injuries hit. He would simply take up a squad space for me that could be better utilised by a more well rounded player. This will seem a harsh analysis, but I just can't see what he offers our team over the next 2 seasons if he gets a new contract. He was a costly mistake, who has done nothing to earn a new contract for me he will simply sit on the bench in either a 433 or 4231 formation. I'd rather bring in a player that will really push Can lucas Milner and Henderson, or allow a youh player like Chirivella, Rossiter to sit on the bench as part of the match day squad.

Migs was never the right keeper to purchase. Though some of the criticism he's sustained has been unfair and lacks any understanding of the role. I would only offer a new contract if no suitable replacement can be found.

Agree10 Disagree9

05 Dec 2015 14:38:13
Joe Allen has a few good games but not enuff to warrant a place in the squad. This is his FOURTH season here yet we're still debating if he's good enuff. That in itself, answers the question. He is not good enuff for where we wanna get to. No more passengers allowed anymore under Klopp and if you're going to be one, you'd better be a young player who needs guidance on the pitch. Hence, sell him. As for Mingo, I think he will be replaced because this is his third season here and he still lacks all the other aspects other than shot stopping. If he doesn't have them now, we're not going to wait around until he does so like Allen, sell him too.

Agree8 Disagree1

05 Dec 2015 13:57:29
Everyone could have their opinion, Bob and the majority are framed on what you see on the pitch.
Some of your requisite above for a good central midfielder doesn't cut for Can, Milner neither. For example, he doesn't have good passing range.

Who has it Bob? Milner? Can? because of that one assist?

He can't play fast tempo one touch passing? And who does it brilliantly?

Well I'll quit football if people believe Milner is a better Central midfielder than Allen. And I have been kicking the ball for a very long time.

Agree1 Disagree12

05 Dec 2015 15:30:25
At 25 years old Allen still can improve. I do agree if we can get a better player in that position we should go for it but I don't think we should look at CM unless we need to. I definitely think he's a better CM than Milner. A lot of players that have started doing well under Klopp that were not playing to there highest standards under Rodgers and Allen could be one.

I do agree with some of the comments above alright though.

The curious case of Joe Allen lol.

Agree3 Disagree1

05 Dec 2015 15:49:13
EG are you saying Allen has a better passing range than Can?
If you want to know Allen's passing range you draw a line between his heels, extend it 5 yards either side and draw a semi circle behind him (radius approx 5.5 yards) .

Agree3 Disagree0

05 Dec 2015 16:06:24
Another embarrassing Post Harry.

Can is 5 years younger and learning the game. But most of what I said Can is more than capable of delivering. Certainly a lot more capable than your newest project of fandom. I;m sure you just jump from one issue to another to seem intelligent and have a different opinion.

To say Can doesn't have a good passing range is quite frankly laughable. I don't even know what else to say to such a controversial comment. What does 1 assist have to do with a passing range?

When I talk about range I mean the ability to do a multitude of things, spray out wide to wingbacks, outside and inside boots passes splitting defense, looking up and putting a 40 yard ball out on the counter to an attacker, a quick incisive pass or lob over the top for Lallana or Studge. Can has shown in almost every game he has this range and isn't afraid to try it. Hendo does too.
This is why Can concedes a small % of posession more, because he's willing to try these things to cut defenses open, and open up the play, instead of keeping it in confined defenses areas such that Allen does and relying on team mate movement to his side or behind him withing 20 yards. (please teake a good read of what I've put her)

Fast tempo one touch passing. Have you seen hendo at the edge of the area with studdirge over the years? Or coutinho, I can actually even count Milner in there from his city days out wide with Silva (though yet to show it at LFC)

I would quite football mate.

05 Dec 2015 17:48:20
Your going to base one pass on the half volley as passing range? not really objective. 1 single sample in 3 years. good going.

Allen doesn't show for the ball from defensive areas, he actively moves away so as not to receive a pass in a difficult area because he knows how weak he is in posession. Have you watched him in the last 3 years? if so you'd know this.

Of course I;m listing attributes and saying Allen doesn't have them, that's how you make a point isn't it?

Can is a decent player with huge expectations on the should at least now. Yes he is young and could go on to become the next Ballack or Deco. But certainly not another Mascherano.

Can lacks positional awareness. Plain and simple. He might learn initially bought to replace Lucas now play alongside him.

Well your point on Milner is laughable. I don't think Milner is ahead of any central midfielder in the club.

Two managers have realized the fact Milner couldn't play in the middle except Bob.

I am not a huge fan of Allen and I truly believe there some real gems outside who could easily replace him in terms or Footballing abilities. But Milner is not that player in any world.

Milner being ahead of Allen (your little fave) isn't laughable, a lot of people have said they have Milner ahead of Allen in the pecking order.

I am not saying Milner plays central, Infact I've said previously he's shown he can't and I would prefer him out wide if he plays. We've even discussed this Harry with regard to him crossing and playing wide in a 4231., you're just making things up in your head now (pathetic) but even still I would prefer him central than Allen, that's how poor Allen is in the deep role.

Can is currently playing box to box, the best utilisation of his ability.

Milner is an engine in midfield with his fitness and ability to tackle back, yet can also get forward and provide passes/crosses into the box. He can play wide and centrally even if not his optimum position.

He's certainly more effective in attack, and marginally more effective in defence than Allen IMO (Allen is probably a better tackler but Milner is less likely to be bullied, especially against sides putting a lot of crosses/booting it upfield)

Allen is a lovely player but fills a gap we don't have once Rossiter and Chirivella mature, and we have more pressing needs elsewhere on the pitch (most notably cover at CB, FB and perhaps even a winger) . If we got a price over 12-15mln then I think we should thank him for his commitment and professionalism over the years, but let him go to a side that will value him as a regular first team player.
