I watched the match in the Arkles with an Arsenal fan who couldn't get in the ground, used the wrong website for his ticket. He bought me a pint 20 minutes into the game :)

Hi Eds and Reds

Outstanding performance today. a question for Ed001 if he's available. do you think the club should get Coutinho signed up to a longer contract. I know he's a a few years left on his existing one. but I would like your opinion on this. also. How good was Flanno today.how could you drop him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - it runs until 2018, far too soon to extend it. I wouldn't drop Flanno, much as I rate Kelly, Flanno has been excellent and fully deserves his place in the team.}

09 Feb 2014 00:04:30
Hey Ed001

Thanks for the answer. just worried about someone coming in for him that's all. we've missed the likes of him for years with his defence splitting passes

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - if we keep playing like we are, then we will be in the Champions League anyway.}

Just wondering what people would class our current formation as? If it had to be put down on paper (or a website). Using the starting line up from our past few games. who would be where?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It would be 4-3-SSS. As our front 3 Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling terrorise opponents all over the front line constantly interchanging.

Red Rum

Agree0 Disagree0

Going by todays team an we set up it was 4 1 2 2 1 but its all very flexiable when we defended hendo was almost a ryt sided midfielder helping out flano.

Living in London, in Arsenal territory, it made my year to give them the spanking they had coming.
With fellow red, my friend 'Redfanatic', we both live in London, enduring all type of banter and leg pulling! It was lovely to see Spurs and Arsenal fans hold their hands up and admit they were given a lesson. Although Arsenal fans say 'at least they didn't lose 5-0 at home) it's a joy and a great time to live in London.
Just Chelsea left. thank you God, Liverpool, Eds, fellow fans and BR for doing this today!
P.S. Ibe looked full of confidence! Another gem waiting to make his mark. Dealiest team on the break!

Hi Eds and fellow Reds

I predicted we would TEAR Arsenal APART, and we did exactly that! I said 4-0 (and had backed it too, £5.00) I didn't know what to do when we scored the 5th. Still it was worth a fiver to see them win 5-1!

At the moment teams can not live with us on the break, Sterling. What a treasure!

Over all fantastic!

Having not been on another teams page before so I had a stroll over to the Arsenal page. They seem a nice thoughtful bunch with seriously good grammar.

They are very worried about the FA Cup .

I don't know what's going on with the lucky pants these days.
They only seem to be working for home games.
Maybe I should just preserve them for home games and go commando for away matches?

Anyway, great result and performance today. To think that was the same 11 that drew so abjectly with WBA.
Great work by all the players, Brendan and the coaching staff.
You don't get many matches like that so it was a pleasure to watch.

Onwards and upwards!

Missed game due to work but was delighted to read Ibe got game time. How did he do lads. I know one of the Eds really really rates him, did he show promise?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He didn't have long and touched the ball 3 times. he cut in from the left along the top of the box and blazed one over. shows he has no fear. that was exampled by out muscling and pacing sagna to let the ball roll out for our throw in.

Coutinho was nothing short of excellent aswel mcgoveb, superb!

Flanni alves for England. Got much
More than kyle walker and un magic Johnson. Best right back in England at the mo. brilliant. Red cafu

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is that you flanno?

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't get a game for some time with Johnson, Walker and probably Clyne ahead of him.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Feb 2014 19:23:11
I realise you will likely say 'i have no idea' but I have a bad feeling Glen will walk back into right back role, regardless of how well flano plays. Do you agree or will I be happily wrong? (Ed 01 if possible)

Also just want to add to everyones positive comments and say the team made a old supporter very very happy today.
I thought Flano was outstanding, but no one had less than a very good game. Big mention to Skrtel too, who gets a hard time sometimes but I personally rate and thought he was excellent also.

Keep it up Brendo! AND PLEASE MOANERS. if we lose against a "lesser" team do not forget all the good stuff the team has done also, and don't rip them apart, as it gets a little embarrassing

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I think Johnson will be very lucky to get in the team, his contract is expiring, he hasn't been offered a new one, there is no reason to try and keep him happy any more.}

When does his current contract expire ed1?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - 2015. So next season is the last one of his current deal.}

Ed001s right, he hasn't been offered a new contract, but his agent has been told he will basically have to half his wage if he is to be offered one. I think we'll sell in the summer, I know we are looking at RBs. I hope we don't get one and Flanno and Wisdom step up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell him to Arsenal then buy Nathaniel Clyne

As stunning as our offensive play was today, I think Flanagan deserves enormous praise for his performance. Local lad who embodies the club, has worked hard and clawed a place back in the team, and put in some truly brilliant performances. He did fantastic today, harried Ozil and nearly got a goal too. To think, we still have Sakho to come back as well. GJ should be nervous of his place too.

I was just having a chuckle to myself. Personally, I really like our owners and are thankful we have them but they must be gutted as the only game they have come to see recently has been the Villa game. One of our worse games of the season and all the others we've scored a hatful.

Missed the game today because I was off doing my motorbike test, when word got to me the score was 5-1 I must admit I feared the worst.

fellow reds, what a result! Unfortunately I was working all day, so I'll only see the highlights.

Just wanted to ask how Arsenal set up to play in the first half. I really wasn't expecting us to put 4 past them.

Did we play counter attack or were we just dominant?

Would appreciate your insights. Ta.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi mate, gutted for you that you missed it!

Similar to the everton game if you caught that one, we came out flying, not giving them a second's peace and completely dominated for the first half hour.
We earned the right to calm down and hit them on the counter for the rest of the game.

One thing I really liked - towards the end of the half, the crowd all started a huge prolonged cheer when we were just passing the ball about in our own end, real show of thanks to the team for the show which had been put on for them.

Safe Standing
I see that we as a club don't support it, but from what I saw today the lkop stood up for the whole game. If we are going to do that then get safe standing in, extend the kop reduce the prices.
I've been Dortmund and it was awesome sight 20,000 standing singing.
Let's stop saying we don't support when in fact our kop do it for the whole game. It'll bring back the atmosphere and a sight that those over 30 remember with great fondness.
Thoughts. , please make the constructive, we all know one of the 96.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have a different perspective.
Anyone who attended any of our midweek CL matches in 2005 knows that you can generate an incredible atmosphere with an all seater stadium. The atmosphere argument is weak and disproven.
More revenue and cheaper tickets? Sorry the 2 are generally mutually exclusive. Another weak argument and the cheaper tickets is unlikely to materialise.
Technology is better these days we hear. Anyone who went to the champions league final in Athens knows that too many people in an enclosed space is unsafe.
Safety should be the number 1 priority and the evidence is allocated seating is the safest option.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm with you ken, no such thing as safe standing, no one should have to go to a footballgame and never be able to again jft96

Agree0 Disagree0

Summed up perfectly ken!
Let's not get complacent and return to the dark days, could you better the atmosphere against Chelsea, Juve etc champs league games, I don't think you could.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think pete is saying that we should just go for it. he was just stating that the kop was standing for pretty much the whole game noticed it myself. but I do think safety comes first an until there comes a day when somone can gurantee there will never be an other sad day like we had then its seating all the way>

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - the difference between people standing in standing areas and people standing in a seated area is huge. You are allocated a seat, so you have no worries about people trying to cram into one area when you have seats.}

08 Feb 2014 19:14:46
Gerrard was top draw today, as one of his biggest supporters I would just like to say to all the people who doubted him over a tough time for him after his injury, shame on you, he will be remembered as one of the greatest servants of the club of all time, up there with Liddle Dalglish, crazy horse. He is adapting his game and becoming a fantastic holding midfielder, we should be so grateful to have him, just top class, well done Stevie Lad!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No one was doubting him lad but there comes a time when you have to let your ageing players, no matter how much of a legend they are, take a more peripheral role in the team. Gerrard was brilliant today but the bottom line is we will need a replacement (from either the youth ranks or bought) sooner rather than later.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Feb 2014 19:44:51
I too don't think anyone doubted Stevie as much as wanted him to acclimatise with his new role on the training pitch rather than actual premier league games while Lucas was still available. after that we didn't have a choice anyway to play anyone else in there

Agree0 Disagree0

I disagree Seano. there were in fact many people on here doubting Steven Gerrard. There were people slagging him off and there were others too stating that he shouldn't be in the team at all. To me this is complete nonsense. Of course there will come a time when he will have to be replaced - but I don't believe that time is soon. He can adapt his game; such a good footballer is he. A dip in form should not be used as a means to rid ourselves of such a loyal servant. Bit fickle boys?!
When he does hang his boots up I reckon he should, at the very least, be given some kind of role at the club - and for as long as he wants it; perhaps even groomed to be manager one day given his obvious intelligence and ability to articulate.
The man was our one shining light through years of mediocrity. I cannot overstate the sheer joy watching him wear that red shirt brought. Some pup!
Jackzokay

Agree0 Disagree0

Gerrard was brilliant today. BR stated that if Gerrard manages to make that position his own, then he can actually prolong his career a bit more. Just can't get enough of watching him play, even after all these years. But just think that the attacking free role is his best position where he could still be monstrous!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just like to add to these comments and mention Steven Gerrard, top (top) class today again mate, well done .

Brilliant! What a tantalising first 20 and I imagine that's what champions would play like. Chelsea and City must be bricking it. Both power teams with manipulative managers both games need a strong ref. To make sure we don't get dicked I think we havnt done enough upto this point to win the league but for me to sort of half give up on winning league in feb and settle for top 4 well I would have snatched that start of season. Excellent by all the boys fans and Brendan. Just keep us smiling lads. Where's that banner from 04/05 season MAKE US DREAM that should be lodged in kop every week if it's not there anymore not seen for ages! Brilliant

Stunning today reds, EVERY player played their part, the youngsters are really starting to develop, frightening to think how good they can become. I think other clubs will now look at our youngsters and be envious (and worried). Special shout to Sterling, come a long way since the early part of this season, Coutinho back on form, Skrtel proving the doubters wrong and Gerrard, well what can you say!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Quigz23,

We are a class bunch mate, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Quigz mate, if you can't give credit to worthy opponents in defeat then your own victories and the praise you receive for them are worthless.
A lot of years back we came to you having to win 2 0 to win the league and did it, the reception you gave us was above and beyond any sportsmanship I have ever witnessed in English football.
Your club is full of doing things in The right way and as a man sows so should he reap

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I was there that unforgettable day gunner62, before the game it was unthinkable we would get beat by the 2 clear goals which you needed and for yous to get the winner so so late it was devastating for us but I think because it was so unthinkable us reds realised what Arsenal achieved that night and reacted accordingly by applauding you around the pitch. We didn't quite repay yous for that but it was enjoyable today, if we don't win it I hope yous do!

Where are the Brendan Rodgers bashers now? Come out and show yourselves. The man is a legend! Come ye out and apologise.
Jackzokay

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'm sure that if people on here were bashing BR, they were doing it because they love Liverpool Football Club and they wanted what was best for their club.

If supporters castigate their manager it's because they are showing passion and enthusiasm and they just want their team to move in the right direction and play decent football.

The same goes for any decent and loyal supporter and I don't think you should post that people should apologise for thing's that are said out of heartfelt love for their club, be it against their manager or one of their players.

Agree0 Disagree0

. at the risk of sounding disrespectful gunner, particularly in light of your decent comments. but we had people here at the start of Brendan's reign telling us that "BR is a nobody", "We are LFC - who is BR?" etc etc etc. Was he not our manager then?
Perhaps its okay to chastise your managers down there in the Emirates (well, now that I mention it. I do remember many, many Arsenal fans slating the great Arsene Wenger at the start of this very season - giving him dogs abuse; and this the man that brought them Champions League football every single year AND helped build them a new stadium with his wheeling and dealing in the transfer market - not to mention the fact that he produced exhilarating football along the way). As I said gunner. at the risk of sounding disrespectful, perhaps you might be better sticking to the Arsenal page and advising Arsenal fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha Dags, you looking for an ed's job lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Think legend a bit strong

Agree0 Disagree0

Jackz,

My post wasn't a personal dig at you, and you are quite correct, it happened a lot against Arsene Wenger too, and I posted exactly the same thing on the Arsenal page to the Arsenal supporters.

Simonpw, good point mate, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

BR has been very good for our club and seems to be taking us in the right direction. You should calm down though, "legend" is a term bandied about with far too much ease these days. Rodgers has done well but he is a long way from being a legend at this moment in time.

Agree0 Disagree0

I had serious doubts about Rodgers appointment, thought it was too bigger job, too soon for him.

However, with results such as today's and the thrashing we gave Spurs, he has certainly gained my respect and full support.

He isn't a legend just yet though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair enough point boys. 'legend' may be slightly strong at this stage of the mans Liverpool career however; having watched the drivel that was put before us over the past two decades - and called football; not to mention the financial muscle of the champions league teams around us as well as others such as Spurs [and United - dig!] then given the exciting heights the team are reaching in terms of football week in/week out, BR for me at least, is well on his way to legendary status (though I accept the point that he is not there yet. Perhaps though you might allow me that one boys given the excitement of our performance earlier today).
That said, I would like to say that I believe BR to be similar to yer man Klopp from Dortmund. I think he is highly intelligent yet suitably grounded - and well capable of emulating what Klopp is doing over there. he's exactly what we need. Thank God we got him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Legend? No not yet! But with the support of the fans BR can become a anfield great just like a lot of the players on that pitch today can young flano being a good example he has passion and pride 4 his club and a local lad Y.N.W.A

I would trade a fa cup QF place for a point today every time, let alone the 3pts I was so hopefull when I woke up this morning.
No matter how we'll we do in the cup next week (or not) nothing we surpass what you did today.
Well done again lads

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Feb 2014 17:02:36
Hey mate.
I don't see Wenger playing quite as strong a team as he could in the QF.
You have a tough looking game a few days later if I remember, not to mention Wenger will always(and rightly so) prioritise the UCL.
He also likes to use the cup to blood the youngsters.
If we play like we did today, chances are we'll win. If we play like we did at the Emirates earlier this season, we'll lose for sure!

Agree0 Disagree0

Takes a real man to admit that mate! I could not believe what I was witnessing at 4-0 especially after 20 mins! To be honest though, I expected more from you, just didn't seem to move out of first gear in the first half, what we seen today was something I wouldn't associate with Arsenal - sloppiness. Don't worry mate, I reckon you can do a job for us midweek by stuffing the mancs! Arsenal and Everton are the only two other teams I have great respect for in the top 7, because we've all had to work with a certain budget over the past few years! Let's hope you recover, because we need you to eliminate a bit of top 4 competition!
Cheers,

Gents,

I'm totally lost for words except to say well done, that was probably the most awesome display I have seen against us in a long long time.

I posted before the game that if the Liverpool "team" that hammered Everton turned up against us than you would beat us, unfortunately that was the case, lol.

I have to say, attack wise, you are pretty much on a level with Man City. You have the same ruthlessness about you as they do.

All the best for the rest of your season Gents.

Agree0 Disagree0

Respect to you dagenham gunner.

At Anfield it was bound to be a different story than at the Emirates and I knew we would perform today. Rodgers has instilled belief and confidence into the players for our home games especially and that is showing in our performances.

If the league title is between Arsenal, City and Chelsea then I would prefer you guys to go on and win it, but the 3 points today will really help us in cementing a top 4 place.

This is probably going to come across as condescending, but it isn't meant to be: In a strange way I wish it hadn't been your lot we've done that too.

My favourite part of that match was henderson robbing Ozil of the ball and passing to suarez to set up sterlings 3rd. I honestly thought that Ozil was untackleable (probably not a word).

Must say to Gunner62 and Dagenham Gunner, chin up boys, we are all still hoping you will win the league over the citeh and chavs, unless we bring ourselves back into contention :)

Hopefully we will repay the favour of those 3 points today by taking 6 from those 2 aswell. At least Arsenal beat us convincingly at the emirates.

Great game!

Hi all,

What an amazing win it was!

Ed001, I for one would love to read your review on this match. I'm sure most of us would interested to read your review. If possible, please do a detailed review and comments on this match mate.

Thanks Ed001 in advance.

YNWA :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - hard to review something like that, for 20 minutes we tore them to shreds, they looked flat after not buying anyone in the transfer window, whereas we looked like a team with something to prove. We showed why a team missing a midfielder able to protect the back four can be vulnerable to teams running at them. Wilshere showed a poor attitude, far too busy whining, diving and kicking anything near him, rather than trying harder. Petulant and childish, extremely disappointing for me, as Arsenal needed a leader and instead they got a baby throwing his toys out of his pram.
Sturridge was able to frighten the Arsenal defence into dropping deep, which created acres of space for Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho to use at will. Arteta and Wilshere were left trying to deal with all 3 on their own, as the rest of the Arsenal team were not helping them at all. They were over run and we were able to get right at the defenders, and completely attack their weakness - Mertesacker.
Arsenal were awful because we made them look awful, they weren't given any time on the ball and they need time and space to work. It, in my opinion, was mostly because of our pressing and workrate that we won. We forced them into turning the ball over and then didn't give them time to settle in defence.}

Ed001 great review should make it a weekly eds review which ever 1 feels up to the task I feared the worst today I was speechless after 20 minutes in ny wildest dreams did I expect that good to see stevie g looking like the stevie g we all know

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on mate! Special shout out to Sterling in particular, ran riot on the Arsenal defence! Wilshere was immature as you said, I expected better from him. Special mention to Flanno and Cissokho as well, they were great today!
Cheers,

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Ed001,

Agree with giblet that this review should be done for every match. I'm pretty sure everyone here would love to read no matter we win or not. Great work Ed001.

I'm so proud of Flanno. He earned his place and made the position his. down to earth lad as well. And best of all, he's a local lad. Hopefully he'll never stop working hard to improve.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I suppose there is no reason I couldn't do one every game, when I get to see them. I had to miss one just before Xmas, the thrashing of Spurs, and I wasn't going to watch again until we lost, in case it was good luck me missing the game. I was half relieved we lost soon after, one because it showed I wasn't a Jonah, and two because I could watch us play again!}

08 Feb 2014 15:40:26
Brilliant performances at the back from Toure and especially Skrtel. Cissokho and Flanagan were also very good defensively. Sterling was world class, as was Coutinho. Sturridge got a great goal, and Suarez a great assist and performance. Jordon Ibe looked sharp when he came on as well. Overall, although we never truly controlled possession, a great performance. YNWA.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Loving Coutinho operating just in front of Gerrard, his pressing is better from a central position and he provides better control on the ball than our other midfield players. Plus the fact that sterling played on the left through Arsenal off BIG TIME, they were expecting Coutinho or Suarez who Sagna can handle.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Feb 2014 15:37:30
Excellent. Let's hope for a draw Tomo and a win against Fulham.
A signing would have been nice, but this proves keeping our existing players together and fit is far more important!

Fantastic effort from all players, believe Henderson deserves more credit than he gets as he covers the ground superbly. Also the pace of Sterling is a nightmare for any defence which already has to contend with The Genius and Sturridge. Hope this gives us the confidence to attack from the off away from home more.
Well done BR - spot on.

08 Feb 2014 15:29:43
Ed, although I'm delighted why do you think we don't play like that against the lesser teams
Is it psychological or is it physical?
If I was earning 25k a week I would be up for every game

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - it is psychological, though I disagree, we played like that against Everton, you don't get much lesser than that!}

It's also works reverse with the 'lesser' team being more up for it

Edd001, thoughts or analysis on the game mate, best player?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I really am too hyped after that to analyse it properly, I was too carried away with excitement to watch it critically. Though I would like to give a shout out to a few players:
Toure - showed real heart after last week to recover and play so well.
Gerrard - was again excellent there, though it was against a side that looked shellshocked.
Flanagan - what can I say? He has rescued a career that looked to have ended with us and made himself first choice.
Cissokho - most of all I need to say well done to him, he is finally starting to look comfortable.
Coutinho - was excellent today.

The only bad points were the ref, who was determined to let Wilshere get away with everything and Wilshere, who is not only exceedingly over rated but a nasty little git.

Oh and it says it all about Henderson's performances this season that, even though he was excellent today, it has become almost his normal level! By the way, anyone else think the rest of the players should consider a change of surname? If we could put out a team completely composed of players with surnames beginning with S, I think we could get everyone on the score sheet.....}

To be fair Aspas needs it the most, unlucky to him though for not getting a goal today sterling could have passed it for a easy chance same with Cissokho at the end. Poor Aspas what will he do when Suso comes back?

Agree0 Disagree0

Haych maybe a mispelling on aspas shirt to sapas may work wonders

Wow. Sterling. Wow. How much did we pay for him again. 80 million? He's quickly becoming one one of the premier leagues best players.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

£500k rising to £5m or did we settle with QPR to pay a smaller fee? can't remember.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought we paid 1 million but I may be wrong any ways 500k 5 mill we got a bargain

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Feb 2014 15:21:34
Wow!

In my opinion we had so many good players without having anyone majorly outshining the rest. This is the very essence of a team.

Although we have many very talented players, Flanagan is fast becoming my favorite player. Heart, ability and came through the system. Then he has buckled down and forced his way back into the team after being largely written off.

I know a lot of people on here seem to moan about everything so I have summarised all of the negatives today.

Mignolet - was saving penalties at the start of the season and now he isn't.
Skrtel - what was he doing so far up field for both goals? If he hadn't scored Arsenal might of been able to counter attack.
Suarez - never scored and was far too greedy hitting the post from 30 yards.
Henderson - there was a piece of grass at the right hand side of the Kop which he never touched.
Coutinho - is too short if we need to use him as a sub goalkeeper.
Groundsman- the grass was the wrong shade of green.
Sterling - is not very good at throw ins.

If I have missed any possible complaints please feel free to add them.

What an unbelievable performance. Did not let Arsenal play their game today right from the off. We certainly humbled them. Gerrard though, did not have to make that tackle, which quite frankly was the only bad moment in his game as well as Liverpool's, he did great, world class deliveries! Coutinho's best game for some time now, liked the way he dropped a bit deeper than he usually does. Going to relish this game for a while. Onwards and Upwards!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With regards to Gerrard I told to him through the TV don't go to ground when he did a few moments before he gave away the penalty, but I guess he doesn't like orders.

Sensational! Unbelievable! In absolute dreamland! What a win! Let it not be said we can't beat a top 4 team! Absolutely scintillating performance from every Red player - Skrtel, Toure, Hendo, Stevie and Suarez were all outstanding; my MoTM - Coutinho and Sterling, absolutely unplayable and made it so easy against the static gooners defence. 5 goals - and without Suarez! The team answered many critics of our reliance on Luis today!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree0 Disagree0

Something Red, have no worries. England selecting young, exciting players with a bit of pace and technique? Never. We prefer to play Welbeck and Milner. While Henderson, Sterling, and much less likely Flanagan may be in the squad, they will almost certainly be joining Franck Ribery on the buttock treatment table, through sitting on the bench for too long.

It would be great for Skrtel to get on the scoresheet. He has been one our standout performers this season, and deserves his place in the team.

He has developed his game this season and is more comfortable playing the ball out from the back. He has also been more effective in the air and he is playing with confidence.

Has he done enough to win over the fans?
I know a lot of fans don't "rate" him, but for me, he has been one of the best centre backs in the league this season.

We have already unexpectedly thrashed Spurs and Everton this season and I have a feeling our boys will rise to the occasion with another standout performance tomorrow against Arsenal.

I will go for an optimistic 3-0 win for Liverpool with Suarez scoring 2 and Sturridge scoring 1.

Obviously no disrespect intended to Arsenal, but I just have one of those feelings :-)

Obviously I hope your feelings wrong but its not out of the question.
When you get it right you can beat anyone and beat them well, that includes city Chelski and of course us too.
Here's to hoping its a game both sets of fans can be proud of today whatever the result, like 0 1 to us but you play brilliantly would be good :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

We're going to win today.

Lucky pants are on!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Coutinho will be vital today. In the previous fixture we missed him and subsequently SAS were isolated up front. Again it will be a midfield battle but if Coutinho has a good game he could be the difference.

Gunner62 I can smell the fear. Teams are starting to fear coming to Anfield again. Many Arsenal fans are hoping for a draw or a 1-0 win. It only shows how far we have come. I hope we can take the 3-0 points today to keep the Spurs, Everton and the Mancs at bay but come may I would much rather see Arsenal lifting the trophy than the "moneybag" teams. You lads deserve it.

Ken your pants are the 13th man. Since they are so effective to our team and our performance how about a picture of the infamous lucky pants for the dodgy sightings page? They deserve to be known for all the hard work and effort they put in week in week out.

Has LFC got any interest in Omar Abdulrahman?

Admittedly I have only seen Clips of him play but his stats are good even though its in the UAE his assists show that he is a team player. 22 years young, would be a good replacement for Assaidi who is 25 going on 26 in the summer, which isn't old at all but for wingers that's the age to sell if they aren't in the long term plans and especially if you can use those funds to buy a player who has as much promise as Omar. Although he might be similar player to Assaidi but that would reach into a market for LFC that has huge potential, plus he looks technically sound.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Seen him at Old Trafford playing for UAE v Uruguay in the Olympics. Played brilliantly and in my opinion was the stand out performer (even outshining a certain Mr. Suarez!). Not seen anything of him since but if he could reproduce the form he showed that day in the EPL he'd be an absolute bargain at £5M.
